He frowned again. Perhaps some nosy servants? Bedrooms are not soundproof or as private as lairs.

I would like for us to have a family live with us, to take care of our affairs during the daylight hours. It is an extra precaution to kee us safe and normal-like. How do you feel about it?

I have not picked a specific one yet, though I do have a few in mind. I wanted the family to be a group that you were comfortable with as well. As for a matter of trust, that will be no issue. I will have no problem scanning their thoughts to make sure that they will not betray us. Only scanning until they become emotionally attached to us. That should be enough of a safety there, but if you still are not satisfied, I can issue a compulsion for them to keep us secret.

Ade nuzzled his lifemate, I am unsure why you feel that way. Though I would like to keep our home private, I understand the benefits of having mortals to care for us and our affairs during. Another thing to think about: If we have children, they will be unable to go to ground with us. A mortal family will be able to care for them when we cannot.
