"You're not a very enthusiastic person, are you?" Nexo asked as he kept his sword in hand barely as held onto his blade while ducking below the fist. "Big mistake getting close." Like a whip, the wires pulled back as if Maikeru was a puppet, taking his balance away as the black wires sought out his arms, his blade, everything on Maikeru's body to become a living puppet for Nexo.

((Ill roll with it, and don't bother changing I'm curious as to how you ducked below a punch to the gut. lol))
Maikeru smiled, "Knife fighter remember? I like getting in close." As he was in such close proximity Maikeru figured he wouldn't need to point a finger, pretty much impossible being this close to his target anyway.
"Bakudo Number 9: Geki!" A wave of red reiatsu pulsed from Maikeru and wrapped around Nexo completely immobilizing him.
Maikeru strained with his sword and sai, cutting the black tendrils holding them in check. With that done and Nexo paralyzed for the moment, he flipped them around and began sawing at the thick ropes of dark energy holding the rest of his body.

Reikai gave a faint grin. "I think I'm at my limit for now...Still not 100% from the fight with Kasen-sama." She bowed. "Thank you for trainning with me, Lila-sama." She said, one hand on her wound.

Lila sealed her zanpakuto and smiled a bit as she placed it within her zanpakuto's sheath as looked at Reikai. "You're an interesting one, I see why brother see's potential in you." She then turned to look at Maikeru and giggled a bit as she had been studying the two while she sparred. She remembered how Nexo used this technique in her spar with him, and giggled a bit about how she tried cutting them up as she didn't know they were similar to Kasen's arrows a bit. "Looks like the knife boy made a mistake."

Maikeru restricted Nexo's movement as he couldn't move, much. However, his zanpakuto was very much alive and moving as Nexo only needed contact with his blade to use it. The thread moved back to push Maikeru backwards as Nexo needed time and concentration to break through. Suddenly, the threads became larger and wilder as they were to envelop Maikeru and break their solid form to destroy their opponent. Struggling in his very thin, yet strong bakudo prison, Nexo tried to get free as his body was shaking a bit.

Reikai blushed a little at the comment, turning into her shy self. She watched the other pair fight, taking notes of their way of fighting. "But not for long." She watched as Maikeru countered Nexo's attack and paralyzed the said shinigami with Bakudo. Bowing to Lila again, she left for the 4th Division to heal up and rest.

The Dream William stood in a huge tropical rain forest where a downpour was taking place. He was in the same state as before his sleep, and found that he still had horrible motor control over his limbs. Lightning lit up the dark sky while thunder ripped through the air in the humid forest. A pair of slitted eyes watched their pray while it struggled to get up. William felt horrible as did all that managed to drink too much, but his muscles ached even more than usual. Something was nagging him in the back of his mind; he felt a presence nearby, but he did not know where nor who or what it was. Suddenly the bushes behind him rustled and he jumped forward to try and get away. His heart pounded while his mind guessed at what it might be. Just as whatever was passing through the bushes was about to jump out. Reality William shot up from his sleep in panic. Cold sweats ran down his face and he shook from both fear and dehydration. He looked around with some panic before he recognized where he was. "The training field," he thought when he saw that two of the now four combatants patiently watching the other two. One spoke to the other and left for somewhere, but William did not question this. Instead he was attempting to understand exactly how such a black boneless mass of goo could be controlled by one of the two combatants still fighting. "If it were on its own, it would be attacking both of the combatants," he reasoned with himself. His head throbbed with a slight pain as his dehydration was made clear to him. Slowly he stood and headed back to the bar to see if he could find some water to drink. He would have to learn exactly what it meant to be in Squad 10 but for now he'd have to get some water and learn where everything was in this new world. (( Continues here.))

Sh** That's all he could think, he was out of close quarters, and with all those damned black ropes I feel like a dang anime girl's dream. Well F*ck it! Squad Four could fix almost anything right?
Maikeru strained against the bonds and began swinging semi-wildly to cut the black licorish to pieces, and incidentally immitating a filet-o-fish as well. Bit by bit pieces fell to the ground smoking.

"Now!" Nexo shouted as his zanpakuto reacted with its master's emotions as the black wires grew large until they exploded with fury. Nexo grinned a bit as his zanpakuto had thinned itself only at the end where it was coming out of the blade so Nexo would have minimum damage, however Maikeru was surrounded by it and would gravely survive as the darkness wires were too close to him.

Maikeru had managed to cut the majority of the wires off , so his upper body was almost completely freed and so was spared from the worst of the damage, he legs were an entirely different story and still failed to support him, luckily he kept conciousness and the concentration on the kido holding Nexo.
"Nice move dude, Hado Number Nine, Byakurai!" He may not be able to hold himself erect well at the moment but he sure could point like a pro. A bolt of lighting shot towards Nexo's hand holding his Zanpakutou, he doubted it would work if he wasn't holding it.
"Lets see how much longer that Bakudo of mine holds shall we? I have a proposal, we can either keep attacking eachother, and you'll bleed out while ur held in my binding, and I'll likely have trouble walking. And as we are not supposed to kill eachother, what do u say we go get healed then back here to resume when I have my own Shikai?"
Maikeru theatrically waved his hand dismissing the glowing red spell from Nexo.
"Now get over here and help me stand up, I think I pulled a hammy."

A glowing three of spades intercepted the lightning bolt as a cloaked figure had entered the area with a pair of purple eyes glaring at Maikeru. "I believe a healing is in order?" A familiar voice said as the card dissipated into black fog which only one person was allowed to create. The hood was pulled down as Kasen looked at Maikeru with a disappointed face before turning to Nexo. "You two, you should really learn before destroying yourselves." Kasen said as he offered a hand to help Maikeru up to the healing room as Nexo seemed to be in the better condition.

"Kasen! What's up man?!? Where ya been? But nahhh my legs are fine, a couple tubes of icyhot and I'll be walking around like nothing happened. Don't look at me like that either." Maikeru returned with a glare, "He's about to pass out from blood loss, I hear that's what happens when you get stabbed in the chest with a dagger and then rip it out, oh well."
Maikeru couldn't help it, he just had a hard time taking nearly anything seriously. Who knows? he thought, maybe I have some sick fetish for getting blown up? I should get that checked out...
Maikeru grabbed Kasen's hand and hoisted himself to his feet and managed to stand on his own. "See just needed a short rest, I'm pretty sure he was pulling most of his punches just like I was."
While bending at the waist to stretch the hamstring Nexo's attack threw out of whack he said, "Come on Nexo, Kasen said he's buying us dinner."

Nexo was holding his chest as he tried to stop the bleeding as he looked at Maikeru. "You are such a strange person..." He said as he stood up slowly before looking at Kasen with a small grin on his face. "Enjoyed the fight? Looks like we're injured after getting healed.." Nexo coughed a bit of blood up as he began a limping walk to Squad 4.

"When did I offer anything of the sorts Maikeru?" Kasen said as he placed his hood back on as he looked at Maikeru with a simple look. "I believe its Kei's job to be giving you the grub." Kasen said as he began helping Maikeru towards the Fourth squad to get him healed as they were in semi-bad shape. "I don't know what the heck you two were doing, but you need to learn that one day you will get hurt so much, you won't be able to get healed." Kasen said as he left the squad area.

"Hey its not official but I could swear my Zanpakutou can let me read minds...and thats what you were thinking I'd swear on it. And by and large this does look bad I'll agree, but a bit of advil and I'll be on my way, all Nexo need needs is a hot bath and a nice cup of chamomile tea. There is nothing a hot bath of chamomile tea can't fix, that's what my mom tells me."
Maikeru noticed Nexo about to limp out of the area, "Hey Nexo! I have some cherry flavored cough drops if you like!! Here!!" Maikeru lobbed a small pouch of cough drops in front of his feet.
Looking back at Kasen he smiled throwing an arm around his shoulder as they walked out "Are you sure? Not even a bowl of ramen? Nexo said he wants to buy now."
