Zen watched her closely she seemed distracted. He waited quietly watching her. Then when she finally spoke the rush of with held questions rush to the front is mind. he noted her thumbs moving nervously and picked out a question. "So, what is it you do. I mean, I know you do something with machines; but what do you do?" He spoke in a calm, rational, understanding voice. Shadow rubbed against her happily.
Ship
Kire simply nodded stepping out of Keith's way. Then glancing at Izeno briefly he turned and walked away with Vure.
Heme had set about arranging some materials on a table to work with. He was sure that if Sinrith knew what he was about to do he would be severely punished, but Sinrith had no way of knowing unless he told him.
Faven watched him from his position on his cot. He desperately wanted to manipulate some metal to calm his nerves.
Rena's Ship
Rena continued her wailing the anger in her voice rising the closer they got to the ship. Rena was having a hard time keeping a lid on her extreme anger. She placed her hands on the railing and gazed out over the water and saw the black shape of the ship in the distance.

Kalm sighed. Getting all pissed off would do nothing. It could get you killed, just rushing into battle... Unless you were Fuego... Then you ended up killing or eating most of the people you fought. Fuego is not someone you wanted to get pissed off in a fight. Actaully he was the only one that fought better when he was pissed off.
Ship
Keith ran around the upper and main decks giving people a 'heads up' about the attack. He stuck his head into Sinrith's room. "I would be beneficial if the half-cat experiment, Rena, did not get anywhere Izeno." Dying was not beneficial last time Keith checked.

Rena's Ship
May switched back to her human form once every one was on the ship's deck. She looked over when Rena started to wail, she guessed that she and Izeno were pretty close. May looked out across the water with Feugo, curious. "What's up?" She asked, every one on the ship seemed to be pretty on edge, she guessed it had something to do with the dark shape of a ship not too far ahead.

Fuego sighed. "Well Izeno imprinted on Rena, right? I'm not sure if other experiments besides wolves can imprint... Something has happened between the two since they first met..." Fuego said, not really giving a straight answer. It was hard to give a straight answer to anyone who was new to the pack life.
((I don't remember if Fuego explained Imprinting to May or not.))

"Oh." May said That kind of explains why Rena's acting all weird. She thought to herself, she could understand that a bit though, other than Miko and Sam the pack was the closest thing she had to friends. "What's imprinting?" She asked tucking a few strands of red hair behind her ear.

Fuego blinked. "Right... Well... I guess it's like love at first sight, except stronger. There's a connection between the two people who imprint, and everyone handles it different. Take for example, Izeno and Rena. Izeno he doesn't make it completely obvious he's imprinted, but hangs around Rena a lot. And well Rena, she seems to go crazy when ever bad things happen to Izeno..." Fuego thought for a moment. "I really thought that wolves were the only ones who imprinted..." Fuego tried to explain it as best as he could.
It was hard to explain without feeling it. It was usually impossible if you weren't a wolf... Usually the person who imprinted on someone would follow said someone around constantly and rarely leave their side, whether said person wants them around or not. Of coarse it didn't always have to be a romantic relationship. Being with the person was usually enough...

Virus took a slow breath looking down at Shadow when he rubbed against her. Smiling softly she gently scratched his ears looking back to Zen. “I am an experiment. I have microscopic machines that are fused to my blood cells.” She paused for a minute thinking about how observed it sounded before continuing again wanting to tell him everything she had learned. “It gives me a few abilities, one being able to control machinery. All of them as long as I am close enough. I also no longer age, I’m not exactly sure how old I am but if my math is right I’m around twenty one even though I look sixteen.” She stopped again and reached into her bag that was still around her shoulder to pull out a small pocket knife. Flipping it open she held out her hand her eyes locked on Zen. “Another thing is they speed up my regeneration. It’s not something that instantly heals but it does much more quickly.” Looking down to her hand she moved the knife over her palm just hard enough to pierce the skin. A little bit of blood ran out slowly following the path of gravity down her wrist. Her blood was red and looked the same as anyone else except for the consistency was a little thicker. Before it dripped, the blood stopped and began to pull back into the cut almost like it was alive. She closed her fingers to place the tips of them on the wound to show him though it wasn’t completely healed it was no longer bleeding. Looking back to Zen it was obviously she was nervous afraid of what his reply would be.

Kurai had a black out for a moment before rushing tot he boat that was not far away. She threw backa "stay here" to the sharks. REaching the ship Kurai poked her head out of the water and almost sank back under. "Rena is that you? What are you doing here?"

Shadow's tongue lolled out and tail wagged as she scratched him. Zen listened an amazed fascinated look on his face. Zen cringed a bit when she pulled the knife and cut herself but his horror changed to intrigue as the blood pulled itself back into her body. When she looked up at him his eyes where wide, not with fear but amazement. He pulled his gaze from her wrist to her face then clearing his throat he spoke excitedly. "Wow, that's amazing. Experiments always fascinate me with all the things they can do. Sometimes I am jealous of them" He smiled laughing light heartedly.
Ship
Sinrith grunted his acknowledgment but stayed sitting with his head in his hands; an uncommon sight for him.
Rena's Ship
Rena had tuned the pack out and just continued her angry wailing. Kurai's sudden, unexpected appearance and question made her jump, loosing her train of thought. She stopped wailing and almost entirely lost her anger as she scanned the water for the familiar voice. Spotting her she asked "Kurai?" She shook her head clearing it and calming down significantly.

Rai looked over the edge to see another experiment. He waved like an idiot for several minutes, then noticed she was talking to Rena. Did Rena know her?
Sho looked over, the boat wasn't far ahead. In fact he could see what looked like people running around on deck.
Ship
A rush of Darkness escaped Izeno, in a whoosh, ruffling his hair as if it was wind. It knocked the breath out of him. It took him several minutes to regain his composure before he threw up what little he had eaten.
She is here!
The hair on Keith's arms and neck was stand on end. He jumped, caught off guard by the amount of Darkness released at once.
Rena's Ship
Fuego's hair was standing straight up. Even muscle in his body seemed to be stiff. His teeth and claws had gotten longer and much sharper when the Darkness was released.

Virus was feeling a little more comfortable when he didn’t seem afraid of her. She looked down at Shadow smiling at how much he was enjoying the attention. When Zen got done talking she looked back at him shaking her head slowly her eyes locked on his. “You mean you’re not an experiment? We are nothing to be jealous of. To be used against your will, forced to become something your not.” She closed her eyes thinking about her dreams she had been having wishing they would hurry up and tell her what she needed to know. Looking back to Zen a glint of sadness should be seen in her eyes before she looked back to Shadow. "Be glad of what you have."

"I see." May said. Now that really explains why Rena's acting all crazy. She thought to herself. "It's different with dragons though." She said looking down at the waves. "I had an opportunity to visit the dragon who 'donated' her DNA for my experiment. I went to her to learn about being a dragon." She explained, then thought for a moment. "She said that every dragon has their spark, I guess it's kind of like imprinting but not as instantaneously." She sighed, running her hand through her hair, it didn't seem like a good explanation. "She described it like putting a spark to a dry forest, a fast and intense fire that's near impossible to put out." Mayithra shrugged. "I still don't quite understand it, and she explained it to me about ten times." May looked back towards Rena, hearing somebody call the girl's name, she didn't see anyone but figured it was somebody in the water since Rena and Rai were looking over the railing.
She growled, an alligator or crocodile kind of growl, feeling the pulse of dark energy and glared at the ship. She switched to her half form out of habit. "Sho," She said walking over to him. "What's the plan for getting on the ship?" She asked.

Kurai frooze for a second. "Wait your telling me that their the enemy." At that Kurai's eyes squinted in anger as she soun around to face the ship. "Those Bastards, I'm going to sink them to hell." Seething a bit Kurai tightened the grip on her triten.

Rena's Ship
"Eh..." Sho said. He looked over the railing. "Would you mind sinking the ship after we get our friend off the ship..." He then turned to May. "Well they obviously know that we're here already. It's pretty hard to miss the ship. So we'll all split up and look for Izeno. Rai will go with you, Fuego's with Komoro. Kalm you'll be on your own." And I'll try to keep an eye on Rena. "I don't think I need to tell you to be careful." Of coarse with Izeno's Dark Side acting up the Hunters and crew were the least of their problems.
Rai glomped May. "Yay! You'll be my partner!"
Fuego stuff a growl. Rai was always like this... He should have expected it. He sighed. He would be away from May...
"Don't worry! I'll make sure she doesn't die!" Rai told Fuego, standing up and saluting. "WHOOOOO WE'RE GOING TO GET IZENO BACK!"
"Well if they didn't know that we're here they will now..." Kalm sighed.

Zen smiled. "No, I am not an experiment and glad not to be. It's just all the fascinating things they can do intrigue me." He paused, taking on a more somber look and continued. "I know of the horrible things that happen at the labs here, which is one of the many reasons I avoid being captured." He walked over to her and pulled her into a hug, sensing her sorrow. "I am glad for everything I have, and it's nice to have someone to talk to." Zen said sincerely. Shadow licked her hand and then jumped up on Zen, licking him too before getting down.
Rena's Ship
Rena was back in reality but fighting to stay there. She could feel Izeno and his dark side like they were part of herself. She hadn't said anything since Kurai appeared snapping her out of her rage filled trance. She had her teeth clenched and had to struggle to keep control of her rational state every time Izeno's name was mentioned. she kept forcing herself to keep her mind on the facts.
Ship
By now everyone on the ship was aware that there was an enemy ship coming and that the half-cat was to be kept away from Izeno. Sinrith was still in his room, Zeik was with Izeno, Heme was with Faven, Kire and Vure where wandering the ship, and the rest of the crew-not involved in keeping the ship moving and could be of help-where all over the ship waiting for the enemy to move.
