HELL NO!
I don't like Palin. The way I see it is this. Ahem.
Once someone tries to reach a certain position they forget what really matters, which is your family. And, because you are blind by what you are going to get, you turn a blind eye on your family. They are the ones who really really need you, and should be priority number 1! If she can't take care of the problems at home, she can't handle a bigger house as the White House. And McCain is hiding under her, who is running for President her or him?
(My mother and I used to work for the government, and it really is hard to maintain a family with everything racing in your life. But, even still you have to sit down and decide what you can and can't do) Can you handle a job like the vice presidency, and maintain your family sane? Very though thing to do, but if you can do that, then welcome ..

True.
I see your point with Palin, but I know that sometimes you can't control what happens to your family no matter how hard you try and work at it. Also, personally, I would put my career, country, and beliefs before my family. Perhaps she is attempting to keep her family safe by trying to have a strong career, country, and pursuing her beliefs. Palin is a bit more forward than most politicians so it is a refreshing change, regardless of her own skeletons. And, yes McCain is hiding behind her now, because he is playing the game, but looking at the stands both Obama and McCain make: the big issues for me (education, gun control, and security), I like the stand McCain makes better. -shrug- I think Obama is too much of an idealist, and America was never a country that could afford to have an idealist as president. We're just way too big to support peaceable academic idealism.
The person below me wishes we'd all shut up about politics.

True. I wish ya'll shut the hell up about politics.
But, Palin doesn't seem strong. Being a strong president or vice president counts.
Don't you think so? Obama can be an idealist to hell, and McCain can be traitor to his party. We need a strong leader! (I mean, you guys need a strong leader!)

False. (Well, they are alright, but I'm now banned from eating pickles as they can trigger migraines).
Perhaps I'm leaning towards McCain because he is more of a democrat than a republican sometimes. Palin is stronger than Biden, though. After all he said that maybe Hillary Clinton would have been a better choice for vice president for Obama than him. Anyhow, apparently there is no strong leaders over here. I give it one hundred years or less before the States breaks out into complete anarchy.

*Mm. I know, Obama didn't choose well his vice president. But, the democrat-republic that is McCain is kinda queer. I actually was leaning towards to McCain, because he had some balls to do what he did. But, now, it is like he just forgetting what his ideals are. Eh..*
