"Come now, Senator. You should not be so cordial. I would have thought that you would be happy to see an old friend, but if you bring malice, then what is the point of being formal?"
Not letting a chance to slip, Neb continued, "Senator, you needn't be so angry. Especially since your mastery of the dark side is incomplete. Do tell, did you find the information you wanted in the holocron I gave you? It was not very easy letting it go, but I hoped you gained the information you were searching for. Please say you have found what you needed, so that you can stop this crusade of madness. Don't make your life harder than it needs to be. Surrender now, and I can promise leniency. Don't let your arrogance consume you."
Neb was ready for the Senator's reply, when a messenger came up beside him.
"Sir... The... the squad... under attack... at the jedi temple... droid... and large man... Force user.."
Neb dismissed the messenger, his gaze not leaving the man before him.
"Senator, you do not want to do this. Whatever secrets you have learned from the sith from the holocron which I gave to your apprentice you cannot unlearn by yourself, but repent, and you may just be able to purge your system. Do not become like Palpetine. The dark side is an entity which you cannot comprehend. You will die if you follow it. It demands sacrifice of blood and flesh. Do not waste your life by being so foolish with it."

The Dark Side swelled, a dark, sick twisted rage.
HE GAVE IT TO VALYCIA? screamed in silent terror through Imperius' head.
Electricity crackled out of his hand, and he soon knew not what he was doing, caught in a sick dark rage, shocking every last person in sight.

(( I though all jedi learn force deflection.))
Drake watched his hand fall to the ground. His other arm came out to replace it, as the handless one retracted back.
Drako shook his head and snuffed out the two troopers by crushing there necks. Drako shot infront of Drake and deflected away the shots.
" You simple fools. " Drake charged the dark force in him and force lit up the room. Lightning charged into all the bodies around Drake and Drako.
Drako stopped and looked to find the Commander.

((FP, you're easily 200 yards away from anyone on the bridge. Lightning doesn't reach that far... Hence why Neb stated you had to get through him to get to the men...
and drako, yes. All jedi learn force absorb. sith don't use a light side power though. it would contradict their inner self. they choose to usually use another method for that kind of block.))
Neb watched as Imperius shut his eyes, electricity shocking from his hand.
"Emotions are pretty damned annoying, aren't they?" He stated, watching the storm build. Neb put out a hand, absorbing the storm, trying to protect what he could of the bridge. Its a bummer to try and rebuild.
"You have much anger, but it is unguided. Not to mention superficial. You're only working yourself up over nothing. This is what I meant when I said you are on a crusade of madness. This is the entity which you cannot comprehend. And I meant every word I said about losing your life in the pursuit of it!" Neb shouted over the storm, attempting a conversion, but knowing full well the chances were far too slim to retain hope of success.

((Uh, with their lightsabers perhaps. But there's a power listed "Force Absorb", but that's for Force powers... Oh! You were using a lightsaber? I got confused, maybe confused ? Sorry.
Let's see...Drake first fell on one and shot the other, then he dashed two into a wall, and then Drako strangled two. That leaves four soliders unaccounted for. I assume they got knocked around or something))
Cajin scrambled away from the droid as the madman charged forward.
He caught the tail end of the lightning, as he stood into a crouch and ran around to the other side of the droid, away from the dark jedi. Gritting his teeth as his body felt like it was set aflame, he tripped and stumbled forward, and hit the ground, feeling too weak to move, though thankfully (and ironically) he was protected from the lightning by the droid.
Meanwhile, the remaining troopers who'd been knocked aside were trying to regain their feet and bearins. A rifleman and the surviving ion blaster were unfortunately in Drako's field of fire, and were quickly swept aside and killed by the powerful lightning. The other two surviors, a light repeating blaster soldier and a rifleman were on the other side of the droid, and imediately opened up on its failing shields.
The armored figure fired one blazed away at Drako with its right blaster, sending a swarm of large red blaster bolts at him. With the other, it briefly took aim and fired at Drake. The powerful blaster bolt ripped through the droid's failing shields, and smashed through a leg. Then, the blaster in the figure's right hand hissed and a cloud of gas burst from the overheating blaster as it stopped firing. The figure continued to fire its left blaster as it shook its right hand, as if in pain or irritation, and slipped the blaster away.

In a shadowed alley of Nal Hutta's central city, a shadowed figure activated a holo comunicator. in the holo field was the visage of a hutt, its portly head taking up the entire field. <"Ah. My agent calls me. what news do you have?"> the creature booms in his native language. "I want more money, Borga. This job is far more difficult than you had told me it would be." <"what is this? The spawn of the Infamous Tombat is unable to perform a jewel heist? Your Parent would be disapointed."> the Hutt declared. "Its no so simple. The Target is more competant than believed. And I have yet been able to discover where he keeps the jewels." <"He is just another Corellian spacer scum. How competant can he be?"> "The Ropeke Clan asked the same question once. Half again as much as you promised. and half the total sum up front." The Hutt bore a confident grin upon his wide lipless mouth. <"You have yet to merit your price tag. I am willing to provide that sum of yours, but only once you have the jewels in my possesion. And if anyone else manages to pry them from that contemptable little vrelt before you do, I'll put up a bounty on your head worth a quarter of your Fee, more than enough to catch half of the Bounty Hunter's Guild's attention. Do You Understand?"> The shadowed figure swallowed nervously. "Yes of course." The figure ended the transmission just as a voice called out from the street. "Alinn? where'd you go? C'mon we have to get back to the Phoenix." The figrue stepped out from the alley and drew Cale's attention. "Hold on, Im comming. I just had to make a call."

Bass looked for somone or anyone that had offered to hire him.Still no one apparantley."Well this is jolly good. Why dont I just eject myself into space while wearing a hat and purple jumpsuite. What good's a bounty hunter with no employer?"He grumbled and leaned back in the chair. They had been drifting a while now and he was getting frustrated a the lack of employment. What with the ships hanging around at Coruscant you'd think they would want a few bounty hunters to help out,or so he thought. He grumbled under his breath and gritted his teeth."Come on there's got to be somone, what with this obsesive monitering of the screen you'd think somone would choose to hire me,compelled by some crazy force. He set his feet on the table and grumbled some more. The T3 unit and Oz seemingly argued about what should be put into locker 7B.

Angel was unfortunately standing too close to the Dark Lord at the time he let loose a blast of lightning. Though she managed to protect herself somewhat by hitting some it with her own, it still overwhelmed her and knocked her over in pain. For a few moments, she was unable to move, her whole body temporarily paralyzed from the shock. " Phoenix... he's right... " she said, as soon as she could manage to move. " The way things are going now... Your own power will be the death of you... If not for yourself, than for me, please... Don't let your lust for power consume you. I lost my family ages ago, I don't want to lose you too... " She stood up, though she was in no shape to much of anything. " If you fight Neb, I won't stop you, but I can't help you either. I'm sorry... "

In the depths of space about three light years out from Nal Hutta, the Auric Runner sat floating patiently for her owner's return. Uboard the ship, two beings were locked in mortal combat. One, a cold calculating machine; the other, over one hundred and fifty kilos of reptilian fury. It was a battle for the ages. They had already gone twenty five rounds and the combatants had yet to feel the effects of their intense battle. no punches were pulled, no mercy was given. It was almost a waiting game between the two titans, as each waited for the other to tire. One of them was going to crack, it was inevitable. "Move." Cambot demanded. Raklar held his ground, his yellow eyes assesing his situation with a rather unexpected amount of calm for a member of the barabel race. "Move."Cambot demanded again. Rak ignored him, continuing his study of the battlefield, searching for any possible advantage over the droid. "Will you just hurry up already? If this takes any longer, the ship will rust out beneath your feet." "Don't Rush." Rak grunted. "Gotta look before the leap." He tapped something into his control panel and a mantellian savrip pounded across the holoboard to smash a serpentine Khlor Slug into a digital bloody pulp. The hovering ball that was Cambot chuckled and moved his skeletal Grimtaash up to do battle with and slay the savrip. "You walked right into my trap, reptiloid." Cambot chuckled. Rak grinned a crocadilian smile and tapped a button. His Kirtan strider drew a bead on the Grimtaash and chucked its club at the alderaanian beastie. the creature took the blow to the head and keeled over. Next the Kirtan strider took a leap and grappled the quadrupedal Houjix and snapped its neck. The barabel, still beeming looked up to his opponent with a satsfied smile. Cambot was silent fr a moment. "I will not let you win again reptiloid." The littlke droid muttered bitterly.

(( Very nice! You giving me a fight and Drako is not your normal Sith. ))
Drako laughed as the armored man blasted away.
" COME ON FOOL!!! " Drako deflected shots at him away with his saber. Drakes leg burst as the shot hit.
Drako pulled the gun from the mans hands and lifted him into the air. Drake tryed to fix the shot to his leg.

((Uh, I didn't think he was that close. Oh well, 'que seras, seras'. Oh, and there are still people blasting at Drake; I don't want to just kill him off, since he's your NPC, but I don't think the soldiers have the same qualms))
The soldiers continued blasting at the partially damaged Drake, buring through what was left of his shield. By now, the shield was failing fast, and letting shots through.
Cajin tried to crawl away from the fight, but could barely move. No...damn it all...come on...
Meanwhile the figure, from its awkward position, threw a punch, smashing the giant in the cheek with tremendous force. It was likely, had the blow contacted completely, it would have the power to shatter a normal man's cheekbone or snap his neck. But though Drako was hardly a normal man, even he was staggered by this mighty blow. The figure took the opportunity to snatch the gun back and twist and kick off of Drako's chest to go flying, corkscrewing through the air and firing back all the way, to the far wall where it landed and briefly 'crouched' against the wall. As it dropped to the ground, still firing, it briefly touched its abdomen with it's right hand, where a lightsaber slash had just penetrated the armor, revealing skin red with burns.
((Hmm...couple nifty/geeky/dorky things... -For some reason, I'm 'envisioning' the sound of the gun firing being not like the somewhat cool blaster sounds of Star Wars, but more like the kickass beam cannon noises of Gundam. -Do the Matrix! xd -And yeah, seems like I've got Advent Children on the brain. :XP: Thank you. This has been a peek inside Heretic's randomly disorganized mind))

(( I didn't think Drako was a Jedi, though. Perhaps he just isn't evil enough? Can't cut being the baddie? Perhaps he'll go emo? Drako crying... showing a human side... yea.. that's interesting.
No, but force absorb is used by the light side mainly. Only people who aren't evil or angry can use it, due to the passive nature required. Unless you can control your emotions, you're screwed. Not to mention, why would a sith use deflect? They have lightsabers for that. Why waste their time dabbling in a light side skill when you could spend your time solidifying your power in the dark. The more light side skills you use, the more likely you will become a light side user. Hence, if somebody uses it, its often a sign that they cannot handle the dark side. Which means Drako develops a conscience, and therefore, has more and more difficulty killing people. He couldn't rejoice in it as much, due to the light side growing. That's why Sith don't use the skill too much. Why weaken oneself, when another effective tactic can be used? Its like saying the Jedi can use dark side lightning on and opponent without fear of becoming evil. While possible, they avoid it to help reduce temptation. Exeptions are made, but I like black and white on this issue. Grey areas get annoying as hell. Not to mention, its supposed to be a Jedi skill for the RP to balance their abilities. Otherwise the Jedi are as helpless as the non-force users.))
"Don't make the mistake of losing yourself, Senator. You do this, and you will be destroyed, by me, or by another, it matters not. History will repeat itself, and I don't want you dead!" Neb shouted, the storm still raging.

"Excellent, excellent!" Mordranna said approvingly. A pair of MC80s circled the orbital droid foundry, as if giant metallic sharks, accompanied by a number of corvettes and frigates. She then hailed whom she took to be the most experienced pilot in the makeshift Squires. "Squire Two, you're in charge of the squad for now. I'm going into the station." Her fighter then landed in the ample bay of the floating foundry, where she was taken to the main control room, along with a shuttle full of commandoes. "This is General Mordranna Brunhildt of the New Republic," she announced over the station-wide intercom. "All civilian workers must evacuate the facility at once!" She then issued orders to the squires, and other squads, to escort the civilian employees to safety. All left the station, save for a shift supervisor. "I served as a commando on Endor, ma'am," he saluted her. "Jarakk Harn, at your service, ma'am," Mordranna merley bowed. "So you say. But, I can't risk any civilian casualties, if at all possible," "But, can you not benefit form my soldier expertise?" "I suppose so," she conceded. "Stick close to us. Hicks, give him a blaster," "Thanks, ma'am. You won't be sorry - it'll be like old times."

Once the crew of the Auric Runner had reunited, Cale told Cambot and Raklar of their role as Imperial Privateers. Raklar, oddly enough, was all for it. The Empire saved his people from being hunted by a rather unscupulous safari company. Cambot was indifferent on the whole matter, still upset at his Dejarik loosing streak. Cale though still uneasy about his involvement with a long standing enemy, also realized he stood to gain something he long sought through working with the Empire. And so using coordinates given to them by Dreyf they went looking for the drop off point. Cale watched the stars at the Reindevous point, different from any collection of stars he had scene before. Different constelations could be formed, familiar stars in different positions, truly this was an unkown sector of the endless sea, at the least a rarely visited one. Some would say Cale had been in space way too long. "They're late." Cale said to no one in particular. "They probably wanted to make an impression." Cambot replied from his console position. "Damn showboating Imps. Then again, they could have been waylaid. I just find it a bit insulting that the Imps would show up late. We could probably had the cargo unloaded by now." "Well good news for you. Something is coming out of Hyperspace. something big." Cambot said. Sure enough a huge daggar shaped warship suddenly apeared before the Auric Runner, emerging almost on top of them. It was over a klick and a half of dull grey armor plating, bristling with Turbolasers, Ions, and enough ordinance to melt the surface of a world to glass within an hour. It was the bane of every opponent she faced. She was an Imperial II class Star Destroyer. And she was not alone. over 100 lesser vessels, the typical entourage of an Imp Star dropped out of hype in formation around the Star Destroyer. It was an awesome display of military power and a nod to the glory days of the Imperial Spacy. But such a complete show of military force was uncommon in this day and age. Those Imperial Reminants who could keep a standard Imperial Star Destroyer Support fleet together were either crafty as hell, important as hell, or rich as hell. Cale stared at the SD as it loomed in his cockpit screen. Somewhere he had seen that ship before. Probably at Endor, where he had seen more Star Destroyers than he had ever seen in one place before or since. "Sir? The Chimaera is hailing us. They want us to pull into the ventral bay to unload our cargo." Cambot's electronic voice called out from his station. Cale blinked. "What was that SD's name?" He asked incredulously. "The Chimaera, sir." Cambot repeated. There was silence on the bridge for a good four minutes. "Is that the "we're screwed" silence, sir?" Cambot asked. "No, Im trying to figure out how to get a ship's autograph."
