Truthfully, she wasnt sure what the idea Strobe was thinking of. It was either rent a hotel or go to Max's house.

"now we go to my house. my dad has living quarters at the lab and he only came home once every few months. my house is only a few miles this way." he veered off towards the left a little.

"so its deserted right now?" Kioko said her eyes perking up.
"and you wont mind if i cook some real food for once?" she said happily.
The sound of real food was almost as good a taking a nice shower as well...ahh, the joy of having a fully stocked house with no one living in it.

"exactly and not at all. the kitchen might be a little understocked though. ill just give you and strobe or crow the emergency cash my dad keeps between his matress. i know its still there because he forgot all about it before any of this even happened." he laughed. "i would guess its close to two hundred bucks. e can use some of that to hide me too."

Strobe said, pulling out the damp and dirtied remains of the wad of 50's he'd retrieved from his Killbox only hours after their escape. Crow recieved a rude awakening to his hunger, the moment food was mentioned his stomach took its cue to begin hurting. He hadn't eaten for days now. A shower sounded pretty nice as well, he hated poor hygiene, but it wasn't on the top of his list right now. It was certainly nice to have currency, but Crow had only used it a few times, his time spent in what was close to a normal background was short.

he shrugged. "whatever you say, but im gonna keep it for myself then. steak sounds really good right now, i could eat it straight out of the package." he saw a few funny looks. "um, im part wild animal remember? it tastes better to me when its not cooked."

"it was about 2 days ago when they came and destroyed the cave we settled in." Kioko was counting the number of hours it had been with her fingers just to be certain.

I thought they kept you like that to prevent you from excapeing-If they come agian-I'll hold them off, you just go find somplace safe, K?
