Thanks, Nadi. As always, you put it very beautifully. At the risk of seeming emo, however, as wonderful as it was, it wasn't quite applicable.
Mostly because the thing I'm fighting for is the right to run away.
But, meh. My dad is now feeding me precious drugs for my legs (which will do nothing, they never do). I'm just annoyed because I've been a really good kid my entire life, and this one thing I choose to rebel on, they won't give to me.
Oh well. Perhaps the meds will works and my legs will settle down enough for at least a light sleep.
In other news. I skipped all of wednesday in order to have this kick-a** dream: I was at a resort and went around rollerblading, pulling wicked tricks and meeting various people along the way. This dude at a bowling alley tried to help fund my university efforts, this little kid and I played tag.. lotsa fun. And then I ended up on top of the ski hill and fell into the moguls and played pacman with the people in the snow tunnels.
Then quick shift to an older dream of mine: this cool house party that happens approximately annually. We do all sorts of cool things there (arts and crafts, impromptu plays, hide and seek..) and the people are amazing. I have this dream about once a year too. It was nice. At least my subconscious knows what's important.
Boys are fun. Girls are funner.

Well you see, there is this boy Elli really likes and he likes her too, but he is being all confused.
One day he'll be all excited and happy, and the next he's well confused. He says one thing but does another, like he says he doesn't want to be serious, and yet he goes on and on and is serious. Or he says he won't be able to see me for two weeks, and yet he pops in and visits anyhow. It's not that I don't mind it, I just want to understand. It's driving me crazy.
And I mean if you're a guy who wants to keep things casual you don't walk a girl to class and kiss her goodbye etc etc. It's just all confusing, and it's not helping me very much when it comes to keeping myself "detached"-- if that's even possible.
Normally I wouldn't be so....oh I don't know the word, so casual? But current circumstances dictate that to be the most logical option with me leaving for London early January and what not. I'm not about to tie a poor soul down to me when he can't even see me no less kiss me for months. It's not fair.

Done, I didn't read it all.. I should have but my finger twitched. xD Ah well, I have confidence.. still.. would've liked to read it. Think he still has a copy?
Yeah, but most of the really fun guys are gay. So much more fun to play games with guys who you know you won't do any permanent damage to.
Oh.. I was going to suggest being detached.. but then you said you were having trouble. My problem is always being too detached.. I rarely form any kind of actual bond with people. Even my best friends aren't very significant. It's a horrible thing, but I can't change my nature, I've tried.
Also the reason most boys I date cheat on me within a couple months.. if we haven't already broken up by then.
