Khalid arched an eyebrow, but entered the apartment, closing the door behind him. He went to the kitchen, where he found Atem struggling with the stove. Atem turned slightly to see who it was, and looked surprised to see Khalid. Khalid didn't waste any time and quickly went to the yami. "I found Kira." He said, feeling like a broken record. "I talked with her. She's in hell. I didn't get to talk with her long, but now that I found her it should be easier. I'll get to bring her back. I know I can!"

"I can't say. It could be as little as a month or as much as a year. It depends on if there's a personal demon with her, how soon I can make a body, and how I manage to get her out of there." Khalid said, shrugging.

Atem had been stunned into silence; even though he knew what Khalid had done before, with Ryou, he hadn't even begun to think of him doing the same with Kira. He cleared his throat, turning towards the pancakes. "Why? It's not good to mess with dead things, Khalid." Khalid narrowed his eyes at Atem's back. "What do you mean? Are you implying that I shouldn't bring her back?" He asked, scowling. "She died out of natural order. She wasn't supposed to go. By all means, it's my job to bring her back. But I came here to ask you some advice--" "You want my advice?" Atem snapped, suddenly whipping around. "Don't do it. Don't even try."

"When he brought Ryou back, Vadin came with him. I had to watch Ryou go through more suffering. I mean, it was good at times, but really... We can't go around bringing everybody who died back to life. It isn't right. It's not in our place to be dealing with things like that." Atem said, flipping the pancake over. It was burnt. Khalid crossed his arms over his chest. "Actually, Atem, it is in my place. I'm an agent of fate, remember? Kira died before her time. It screwed some things up. I have to bring her back. This isn't a personal matter."

Ember pouted and moved atem out of the way dealing with the pancakes "you know if you bring kira back your going to have to get a devorce...."

Khalid smiled slyly. "Here I was expecting Atem to bring that up first. Well, Ember, of course I know that. Thing is, Ryou doesn't even know what I'm planning with Kira. I came by here to ask you what you think I should do about him. If I should tell him or not. There's the chance it won't work, and I would hate to break his little heart again. But I'm pretty sure I can get her back."

"If it worked with ryou why wont it work with kira?" ember asked "you have done it before after all."

"Nothing can be guaranteed one hundred percent." Khalid said, sighing. "Something wrong could happen with the soul transfer, there might be barriers around Kira, the earth could explode, I could die..." Khalid said, giving a few examples of what might go wrong. Atem snorted at the last thing. "Yeah, nobody would be upset if you died." Khalid stared at Atem, his face emotionless, not even showing anger.

"It doesn't smell good." Khalid said, tossing the pancake from one hand to the other, saying 'hot hot hot hot!'. "Just throw it away. Not even a dog would eat this mess."

"Burnt food is nasty." Khalid said, tossing the pancake onto the counter. "Oh, have either of you been filling Kai's head with bad things? He came back from Yugi's today and asked Ryou, and I'll quote the kid directly, 'Da no love Kai no more?'" Khalid tilted his head to the side, studying the two quizzically. "Ryou's rather upset. I'm sure he's convinced that Yugi or Kawi have been telling his son lies. He even got angry at poor little Kawi."
