The general ignored katherine's call for help. Paradox stood where he was, keeping the bow trained on Serenity. He heard the screamings of Matachi. "I ussually don't miss." He said mostly to himself. Then his attention was completely on Serenity. "A fool listening to the ramblings of another fool. How quaint. I thought your little lapdog would have made a move, but I was clearly wrong." He said to the retreating pair. His own power was coming out, leaking out, in the form of his aura, and it was really starting to get out of control.

"Paradox!!" She tried again she looked to Matachi then. "Its okay he will come pull it out there is no way i can and your to weak yourself for that. This shouldn't have happend." She was worried even if she was trying to stay calm.

Matachi was just trying to escape the pain, this in turn caused him to activate the sidiion making him tug at the arrow rougher

"Matachi stop your only makeing it get worse." She moved over towards Paradox. "Forget them you hit Matachi with that thing." Her voice quite serious as she grabed at his bow herself.

Paradox loosed an arrow at the receding forms just as Katherine touched his bow. He rudely shoved katherine out of the way, and made his way to the Tree Matachi was pinned to. "Stop squirming. That only makes it worse." Paradox told Matachi with a voice of irratation. He grabbed the arrow in both hands, and ripped it out. The head wasn't arrow shaped like a normal arrow. That made them too hard to retrieve. Instead, the head was a smooth diamond encrusted point, hence taking a year to make.

Serenity didn't listen to Paradox she just kept walking. What was the point in staying when she obviously only made him upset. She looked down as she walked finding that she seemed to somehow always end up making things worse. "He didn't have to be so mean." she said in a whisper. She hated knowing that she was the cause of others anger.
Abel was still pissed and he was really tempted to go back and take that guy down a notch or two but Serenity wasn't stopping so he couldn't. "That stupid jerk. Who the hell does he think he is anyway?" he said in an annoyed voice. He couldn't remember if they had met or not before. Hearing Serenity he looked over at her and saw how sad she looked. "Hey, don't worry about that guy. He's not worth your time." he said comfortingly.

Katherine felt the shock of him shoveing at her, she felt confused and now even more weary She got up and walked to them but didn't say anything she was stone quite. She was figureing something out. She looked botherd and didn;t so much as look at Paradox but watched Matachi.

Matachi screamed abit as he fell to the ground holding his shoulder "Watch your damn shot!" he said looking at Paradox

Once he was down katherine knelled down towards him ripping at her blue gown and pressing it to his wound. Her power rose up then as she started working on the wound it would take a while and she needed the silence for a moment. Katherine when she was done set back alittle feeling more drained and more weary she didn't look up but watched her hands for a moment.

Paradox didn't seem to notice the pain matachi was in. "You were lucky I missed. Next time, you shouldn't use those little tricks you learned as a forest archer. Sneaking up on people. You might get shot." Paradox told him in an even more irratated voice. He chuckled to himself. "oh wait, you already were shot." Paradox finished off his own private joke. He got up, and moved away to a nearby tree.

Katherine stood up then and looked over to Paradox. "What was wrong with you?" She spoke not upset but honestly. "You hurt him and he is already suffering as it is." She thought of him as a friend a close friend and he wasn't acting like it. No he had scared her. Made her think.. she pushed that away from her mind.

Matachi shot forward suddenly bringing his sword from its sheath, not using it to cause any harm he slams it into the tree right next to Paradox's head "You need to learn your place before your demoted to private!" He shouted into his face not scared at all of him, his power was emitting from his body like a powerful waterfall

Katherine looked back to Matachi. She put her hand out meaning for him to calm down. "There is no need for that either. I .." She ran her fingres through her hair. She walked alittle away from them but within hearing distance she looked worried very worried and slightly pale from her power loss.

The tree creaked after being damaged by the sword. A strange combination of sap and maggots seemed to ooze from the wound of the tree. Paradox wasn't scared of Matachi either. "I think your right, but I think you have the situation mixed up. It's not me who needs to learn my place. It's you." Paradox told matachi, before bringing his arm against the tree just underneath Matachi's sword. The bark peeled away to a host of disgusting creatures, and the creatures seemed to explode into pus and death. The tree cracked and buckled over such rot, falling towards matachi and katherine. The general's aura was spiking out of control, infecting the tree with rot, and killing the ground around Paradox. It flowed like an untouchable mist, compared to Matachi's overpowering waterfall of power.
(Sorry about um. . . Par-ee's sudden mood swings. He's a little grumpy.)

Katherine's power rose up she might not couldn't fight Alastor but she could do some things, she was qick to and already on her feet she had no trouble getting out of the way. She looked to Matachi to make sure he had. The stink of betrayle was all she could tell from this rot and it made her feel sick in all together.
