I didn't mean to sound like I doubted you.us This just goes against the fundamental principles of both ninjastronomy and piratography.

I guess the real question is "which is better: pirate or ninja?"

There is a theory that the existance of a pirated ninja (or, inversely, a ninjed pirate) in ANY reality is what caused Superboy Prime to go emo and start punching the walls of reality.

Are you trying to say that it's MY fault that your crisis happened?

Ok, so we were discussing World War Hulk in CD, when somebody started to speculating on who would die, leading me to utter this:

Quote:
I hope nobody dies. Killing off/reviving a character has become a far overused crutch.

I hope nothing earth-shattering happens, I hope nothing shakes the Marvel U to its core, I hope nothing is changed forever.

I want to see Hulk Smash a lot of things, big names go toe-to-toe in block-leveling battles, lots of pointless splash pages, gratuitious cameos, and at the end, everything to be ok.

Is that so wrong?

So, is it wrong? One of the endearing things about comics, for me at least, is their timelessness, the fact that incredible things happen, but the status quo never changes. Clark will always be Superman and always use that ridiculous disguise, et al.

Is anybody else jaded with the seemingly monthly Crisis and Universe shaking events, not to mention the revolving door of death?

Whats wrong with a fantastic story that changes nothing? eek

Is it true that Black Panther once defeated Silver Surfer? stressed

This is coming from the Marvel.com boards, so it may just be complete BS, but apparently in an issue of Fantastic Four, Black Panther somehow got the Surfer in one-half of a rear naked choke, twisted one of Surfer's arms up behind his back and said " I'm wagering that your phisique is as humanoid as it appears. If I'm right, you won't be able to break this hold....despite your vastly superior strength."

COME ON! gonk

Just remember, the threads of the current DC crisis started with Graduation Day in 2003. More officially with Identity Crisis in 2004.

Marvel's been going full-tilt since Disassembled in 2004.
