@ Mint - I read your post on the Holiday event thread. It is amazeing how your character interacts with a npc. It was like i was watching a movie.. thats how Ican imagine it.
One day ill rp like That... And write that way you write.

Just keep practicing, Kane^^
It's good to have role models. I'm arranging my inventory. I think I'm going insane^^

Very true My friend.
I have decided to tone down my character * beliefs* alittle.
I am giveing him a little room for emotion although he won't show it right away.
makes it easy on me :lol

@Scytheress- No its find thats a good thing. But i find out about a character through the character. It makes it more realistic.
But good Job... i was shocked. lol

I try to read the profile to get a feel for them (y'know, maximize the interesting encounters by reacting in ways that is likely to resonate with them) but completely disregard it other than that. More realistic, but keep things running smoothly.
Though, nowadays I just don't bother. I've become very lazy.. heh.

Anything I read in profiles is mostly just for my own sake not my characters. I hate meta-gaming more than anything else (even more than god-modding eek ) But getting shocked in a post is fun too, which is kinda why I like that Kane left his history out of his profile for now. Keeps me guessin' smile

Meta-gaming is having your character know everything you know. Say I'd read in your profile that you had a dead wife and could manipulate fire. If my character had just met you they wouldn't know any of that. So if my character walked up to yours and said something about how you'd lost control of your powers and killed your wife it would be considered meta-gaming. Just because I know it doesn't mean my character knows it.
