I've never had experience with psychologists xX A few of my friends have though. One of my friends had serious attachment issues and she went kind of crazy when we all went off to college. But once she started seeing a therapist she improved a lot, found a boyfriend and is now independent and such. ^^

I've had a couple friends who've really benefited from the experience. But I think it depends on the situation and the person.

Hm... I've always had a negative view of them but I guess they're not all bad. But I agree with ya Celes, depends on the person and the situation. I hope my friends remember what they're going into the business for. I hate therapists/psychiatrists that do it for the money or just to feel superior.
And Spazz, I had the same jaw problem! Only I was never sent to see someone for it. Instead my dentist wanted to perform surgery and I was like "Well you suck and I'm never coming back!" (and I didn't. I switched practices *nodnod*) I have really bad tmj problems now but unless I want people cutting up my face there's nothing to be done sad

You have to talk to you psychiatrist with you mom in the room? Even when I was a minor they asked me if I wanted her there or not. And I said no... I've noticed a lot of psychiatrists and the like don't actually ask you anything which is bogus because the reason you probably go to one is because you don't want to talk about it.

I drew Rajah during History yesterday/finished during English today! EDIT: Yeah, they do. (I'm a minor) It bugs the #*@$# out of me... my mom's not my favorite person... (but I like her more than a lot of people at my school) EDITEDIT: I mean, yeah, they do make me go in with my mom.
