Farren just mindlessly stared back, the bed leg still his mouth. After a moment, he began wagging his tail.

As commanded, the beg leg dropped out of Farren's mouth, as he continued wagging his tail, which was beginning to hit Omazige in his sides.

Omazige led them down the stairs and to the den, looking for food.
