Khalid soon went back to the play room. He picked up Kai. "Hey there, kiddo. Ryou and I are going to do something. You want to stay at Auntie Kawi's house, or Auntie Ember's?" When things became too much for him, he would sometimes just drop Kai off at either Yugi or Atem's apartment for a little bit. Atem smiled faintly and went into the kitchen, finding a note book and scrawling a note down on it. 'Ember-- I'm going down to see Ryou and Khalid. I should be back soon. I've got my cell phone if you need me. --Atem.'

"em ka!" kai said exsitedly. He liked going to both of there houses.

"Well, we'll just have to see which one would want you." Khalid said, going back to the kitchen. Ryou was tugging a coat on-- it was getting a lot colder outside. Khalid handed Kai off to Ryou and went to locate his own jacket. He didn't like to wear coats.

Kai giggled happly as he was handed to ryou "Dada Dadda!" He said clinging to his father.

Ryou smiled faintly, having trouble making it a realistic smile, and nuzzled Kai. "Hey, Kai." He said, fluffing Kai's hair slightly. Khalid hadn't taken very long at all to get ready, and was soon in the doorway. "Are we really leaving now?" Khalid nodded, shrugging slightly. "Unless you'd rather wait. Where are the car keys?" Ryou gestured vaguely, and Khalid snatched them up. "Come on. We'll leave Kai at Yugi's." Ryou nodded and followed Khalid out to the garage. Ryou strapped Kai into his car seat as Khalid got into the driver's seat.

"Did you grab his monkey?" Khalid asked as Ryou got into the car next to him and buckled in. Ryou shrugged, and Khalid rolled his eyes. It didn't matter. Kai could be entertained in other ways. He pulled out of the driveway, glancing over at Ryou to make sure the boy was okay. It didn't take long to get to Yugi and Kawi's apartment. Yugi had been munching dully on a bowl of cereal when there was a knock at the door. "I'll get it!" He called out to Kawi, unsure of where she was, and headed to the front door. Khalid and Ryou were there, Khalid holding on to Kai. "Oh... hey!" He greeted, forcing himself to be cheerful. Khalid promptly handed him Kai. "Watch him, okay? Ryou and I have to go somewhere. We'd bring him, but I don't want to." Khalid said, waving bye-bye to Kai.

"Bye bye lid!" kai said to khalid. Kai then turned to look at yugi and giggled "Ugi ugi!"

Yugi smiled brightly at Kai, waving with his free hand. "Hello, Kai!" He said, then looked up to ask something of Khalid and Ryou, but the front door was closed. He opened it up and found them gone. "Huh. Hey, Kawi!" He called, carrying Kai further into the apartment. "I hope you don't mind if we babysit. Khalid and Ryou just came by."

Kawi was in the kicthen making lunch,which was beef and potato stew. "No problem!" Kawi said as she called out from the kicthen "Get the highchair out of the closet it's almost lunch time!" both appartments had a few baby things for when kai visted.

Yugi entered the kitchen, setting Kai down on the ground. "M'kay. But I think the brooms are blocking it. It might take me a while." He said, heading into the hallway and going to the main closet. He opened up the door and... yep. The brooms looked like jail bars.

After kawi set the table with a barney bowl for kai and normal bowls for them she scooped kawi up in her arms"Hey there little man. We have a surprize for dessert. if your a good boy im sure yugi wont mind sharing!"

"Depends on what it is!" Yugi called from the closet, his voice muffled. He took a hold of the high chair, without bothering to move the other things, and pulled. The chair came out a lot sooner and easier than he expected, and he stumbled backwards, slamming into the wall, victoriously clutching the chair.

"Hah!" Yugi punched his fist into the air, getting to his feet and heading into the kitchen, where he then managed to set the chair up. "What's for lunch, Kawi?"
