Her attention flitted to Malik at the sound of his voice, pulling her from her content looking staring into space. Offering him a smil first though he didn't seem too pleased, or at least body language and bond lines said so. But she didn't say anything about it, those were things better left alone. "That would be Zahara's and no, you don't have to hurt anyone. And yes...I did send them all home seeing as they were starting to get rowdy anyway." Looking at her sleeves veiling once more before propping and elbow on the table and resting her chin on the back of her hand. "Have your fun?"

Well then. he'd just have to test that claim. perhaps it'd be better if he just conquered the Purian Penninsula after all. wouldn't take much. Or just incite the orcish hordes into more potent warfare.
"Yes and no. the Purians don't want to work with me. they are scared that I'd do something like send them off to war or something. and apparently surface food doesn't appeal to tehm unless they earn it be restoring the surface here."
Onyx sat down by her, and his ears swiveled forward.
"anything and everything you are willing to tell me. just like I would tell you enything and everything you may want to know."

A little shrug from her. "Oh well then. No harm either way...they don't want to play with us then they don't have to." Hey she saw no problem with it. She'd be happy to just laze the days away in her fortress with Malik. No need for worldly conquests and what not. "At least you got to appease your need for politics."

The Cheiften rubbed at his jaw, thinking about Jiscals offer. "The Peninsula is fertile, the waters are calm and fit for growing. If I accept your offer, I would eb happy to send my poeple over to teach you how to grow our produce correctly. But my people would be reluctant to move lands." He shrugged, "although I would not deny them they choice, if they decided to leave the Peninsula and join your city." He looked to Leaf and Stick, but they would not voice their oppinions with the king listening.
"I will give you my answer in an hour, good King." He nodded, and walked off with his attendents to discuss the idea.
"What is there to tell? My days were spent on the integraty, only leaving if a band of orcs forced us into a skirmish on land. I believe we took down many bands along the coast before they simply started running from the site of our ships. Celeste was hellping my with my letters, and Warhammer helping me to control my staff before it stopped working properly."
Outside, a strange wind blew. The thatching on roofs started to peel apart and buildings were creaking with the foce of the winds. The populace was forced to take shelter closer to the center of the island as the water level rose dangeriously, waves up to four meters high splashed amoung the docks and the outlining buildings. The castle groaned, the sound reverbrated through the whole structure. A gust of wind came in through the balcony, distinguishing all fires and lights. Shrowed in blackness, the rain began to pour.

Jiscal was about to say thank you to the chieftan when the gust of wind suddenly blew out the lights. He'd felt such gales in the past, and could tell that his people would need to take shelter, and quickly. With a wit not to be out done by the weather, thankfully, Zeranda streched her hand out into the air, and cast a Light spell to reveal as much of the room as she could. This spell could only shine from one direction, so she created a managery of large shadows along the walls.
Jiscal smiled in appreaciation, and bowed to the Chieftain. "Duty calls." Rushing from the room, to the main exit, he saw the halfling diligently holding on to his mount, who seemed truly uneffected by the gales. The two minotaurs were bracing against the pressure. "Close the gates." Jiscal ordered, which the three guards quickly responded to. The king looked about the exterior, light from the moss undimned by the weather. "Gather up all you can, Good Sir Gil. We must risk aid to the common man."
"Aye Aye," The Halfling soluted and rushed into the barracks.
"Brave Taurons, please stay here and make sure that the guests are not harmed." The king turned and looked to Zeranda. "I leave the rest to you, My Queen." He brushed himself off, and charged into Barracks after Gil.

"Good hunting then..and teaching you letters? as in writing?"
tilting his head lightly.
"Mine were spent hunting people out of ruined buildings, and hunting for myself. learning to interact with the underdark landscape and protecting BOde form potential dangers while her father foudn them a place to live. and then there was some time staying with my twin..that was mostly during the quakes."
When the lights went out, Onyx was on his feet, claws exposed..oh, just rain..storms. perfect. gathering his hands together, he let loose with several very large wisps of light, that lent a red glow about the area to help illuminate.
Malik didn't bat an eye at the dark, his eyes saw just fine...though he did light a candle to hand to piper in case she wanted to try her eye trick. Malik was already planning for very bad things to happen to the Purians if they neglected his offer. he'd rather destroy that settlement then to let a potential enemy have a foothold so close to his home.

And then the lights went out well. Again this got more intereting. Thoug her ears twitched at the sound of rain and wind outside the place. Well...at least if they still wanted to leave they could...had horses who could put them anywhere they wanted and Malik could shadow walk...plenty of those around. But her attention turned to him as he passed over a candle and she indeed let her eyes do their thing, she'd be damed if something was going to happen and she couldn't see. Thus she would be one of the few, if not the only one who had glowing triple colored eyes. There we are, daylight view of everything. "Fun never ceases down here."

Gerard turned to Meilikki, "Well, it seems there are problems with the lights and rain. What shall we do in the interium?"
"Why don't you dance with your sister? She's been wanting your attention."
"Splendid!" So while other people paniced, Gerard and his sister danced.
Their attacks had beens avaided somewhat, but they were back in the frey soon enough. Then the lights went out and they were completely in their element. Skunk came at Eliot from the side, taking them across the balcony in a dangerous roll.
Lightening stripped the sky.
"Yeah. Writing."
"I've felt some of those quakes. I had a candle fall on me an burn my thigh. You're brother's nurse treated me." She nodded while he talked, listening but not know what else to say. When everything went dark, she was glad that her red face was hidden.

Eliot rolled, and when she tried to regain her feet she slipped on the edge of the balconi, almost toppling over. Using that momentum she clamed her jaws to the railing and kicked out with her back legs, attepmting to through Skunk over.

Malik was calm as ever.
"Of course not. That's just the way it is."
though his eyes turned to the Purians a moment. arrogant little people. yes, Malik's attitude toward them had gone quite sour. Perhaps they shouldn't get thier little scout back. He could put him to better use.
then back to the general festivites, at this point waiting on word from teh queen as to what was planned in this event.
though Onyx's mind was for a moment occupied with thoughts unbecoming a gentleman toward Aella..the wind brougth something else to his attention. he thought he'd heard growling before..but now he smelled blood, fur, and one of them was Eliot. hey he never forgot a scent.
"seems the storm has brought it's own refuse with it."
Though his tail did try to be sneeky, and caress lightly over Aella's thigh.
"Excuse me a moment, I think there are some uninvited guests doing bad things."
Not to mention the more good acts he did the better he'd look. SO he left a little wisp at teh table.
"If you need me, just ask this, and it will relay the message."
another quick little nuzzle and he went out toward where the scents told him things were.

"Oh I'm not complaining...I'm quite used to it by bow now." Propping her other elbow on the table she supported her head with both hands now in rather casual fashion. The fancy for the night was over, at least for her it was over. But picking at what food she did have a little, bright eyes idly watching things happen as they were. So...when could they leave too? She felt the magic of the evening wearing off, but true as ever, she never complained.

Skunk dug her sharp nails into Eliot's back, using the wolf's flesh as leverage to hurl herself back onto the castle's balcony. Worm ramed Eliot's stomach, pushing her further over the edge. Weasil was running in for a second of the same attack.
A small creased formed in between Aella's brow, and she batted the tail away. "Yeah, sure." And she watched the little whisp as it floated.

Eliots breath left her body in a sudden rush and small pieces of light danced before her eyes. She barely had her bretah back when Weasel rammed her again.
But instead of toppling over the balconi Elito using the impact to curl over Weasly, digging her nails into Her back, and biting her shoulder hard. She kicked the balconi, flippign herself over and takign weasil with her, throwing her against the opposit wall.
"Bleck! Don't you bath?" Eliot jeered.

THe doors must have flung open, yet they did not. Leaning against the double doors that lead to the City, and the Dark beyond, was a rather unfamiliar face to the crowd, save for spectres bent and twisted by Malik.
She was in a state of complete euphoria. Her senses were flaring with the intensity of a thousand suns burning with the joious repute of a saint. She wore armour, much like one would expect from a worshiper of Lloth, and a black surcoat with only one varient. A purple flame above her ample cleavage. Her sides were weighed down by scimitars, and her hair tied behind her head in a single braid. Her eyes glowed red, and her black skin contrasted with the shiny silvery-white hair. "I see I waited until the right moment to join this party." She ludely said.

Weasle barked with pain, squirming until her jaw had losened and let him go. The three fell back for a moment, circling. All three came in at once, one going for the underside of her throat, one for her shoulder, and one for her crippling achilies tendon.
All those who could see by the pale lights cast by magic users turned their faces to the door to see an unfamiliar, and rather frightening drow. Any that were sitting stood, perhaps to have a better chance at running away. Some prayed to their various gods, quite certain that the strom was this drow's doing.
