Ryou smiled, taking a hold of Kai's small hand. "I love you too, Kai." Khalid reached forward, pushing on Ryou a little. "Come on. You need to go inside." He said, then hesitated. He then nudged Ryou towards the grave. "First toss the dirt in. Then you go inside." Ryou nodded dully and went over to the hole, looking down at the coffin before bending down and taking a handful of dirt. He let it fall and then Khalid took a hold of his wrist and began to pull him away, towards the mansion.

Kawi steped foward with yugi and did the same. She didher best to hold back tears.

Yugi followed suit with Kawi, taking a tight hold of her hand after he had tossed the dirt in. He moved aside as Atem stepped up with Ember, mirroring his hikari's actions.

After ember threw a handful in she looked to atem tears in her eyes "you...you can go in...I have to stay and make sure everything is done corectly."

Atem shook his head slightly. "I can stay with you, if you'd like." He said, then looked towards Yugi. "Make sure Ryou is all right, okay?" Yugi nodded, wiping his eyes with his sleeve. "Uh-huh... sure." He said, though he was fairly sure-- as long as he was drugged up-- that Ryou wasn't going to do anything bad. He went back towards the mansion, waiting for Kawi to see if she was going to stay or not.

Kawi quietly followed yugi.
Ember rested her head on atems shoulder "I cant belive this happened..."

"I know." Atem said, sighing. It was Bakura's fault. He knew he was going to have his revenge, one way or another. He swore to this, silently. Inside, Khalid had tugged Ryou into the playroom, where the boy just went over and sat in a corner. Khalid set Kai down. "Do you remember where we put your monkey?"

Kai who wasent interested monkey got on his knees and started to crawl. He crawled his way over to his father and hugged his leg.

Khalid had somewhat lost interest in the little toddler and went over to the toy chest, sorting the toys. First by size, then by color. Then he gave each toy a nickname and began to alphabetize them. Ryou looked up when he felt Kai on his leg. He forced back his tears and scooped his son up, hugging him to his chest. "You probably don't even understand... But that's fine. You won't remember this. You aren't going to remember your mother as you grow up..."
[BTW, how long did you want Kira to stay dead?]

Kai grabed onto ryou's shirt "Mama go bye bye?" kai repeated what khalid had told him.

Ryou smiled sadly. "Yes, Kai... She had to go bye-bye. You won't get to see her again. I'm sorry." A fresh wave of tears came over Ryou, and he had to turn his head away. "I'm s-s-s--" Ryou wasn't able to finish his sentence, which was probably just a repeat of his previous one. Meanwhile, after taking a breather and giving himself enough time to calm down, Yugi decided to do as his yami had requested and go check on Ryou. He found his friend in the playroom, hugging Kai and crying heavily.. Khalid, his usual oblivious self, was sitting down cross-legged and comparing two different Barney toys. Yugi looked over at Kawi, biting his bottom lip, unsure if he should say anything or not.

Kai whimpered softly and nuzzled to ryou's shirt. he got a handful of ryous shirt and chewed on it.
Kawi sighed softly and took a step in.

Khalid's head snapped up as they entered the room. "I know it's a bit soon, but I've already got things figured out for Ryou. You four-- Yugi, Kawi, Ember, and Atem-- are going to have to leave. I know you've been planning to get your own places, and now is the time when you have to move out. I'll see to it that Anzu doesn't return. I'm taking your advice, Kawi, and staying here." He smiled, placing the toys in his hands into the chest. "I'm taking control of things from here. You guys don't have to worry. Just inform Ember and Atem soon, okay?"

Khalid looked over at Ryou-- trying to comprehend what kind of state he was in. He looked back to Kawi and Yugi after a moment. "I want you gone by the end of the week." He stated, shifting so he could see them better. "The sooner the better, of course." Yugi looked startled. "There's no way you can expect us to find a place to live in that amount of time." He said, his sadness forgotten for now, replaced by irritation at Khalid. "How do you expect us to do something like that?" Khalid shrugged. "Your problem, not mine. Stay at a hotel if you have to. You just have to leave this place. It's too crowded as it is."
