"Since I found her..." Yuki blinked. "She almost died of pneumonia about a year ago. Why??"
She seemed to be at rest for once, floating peacefully in the liquid.
She had a feeling she knew what he was getting at.

"Ohhhh Hapushi-chan..." Kaguyo shook her head, "What are you doing????"
She hit a few more buttons, gradually paling as she did. "Are you sacrificing yourself Hapushi-chan?? What are you doing...???... s**t... What do we do..."

Yuki frowned. "Maybe..." she mused quietly, "Maybe...."
She didn't really want to talk on the subject, watching the woman closely. "It's never been this bad... Maybe it's just her lung..."
She couldn't hide how disheartened the suggestion made her. It practically crushed her.

Kaguyo shook her head. "Hapushi locked me out." she answered softly. "We're stuck... She even locks the air vents." she glanced back to him. "We're stuck..."

Yuki didn't speak for a long time, trying to fight tears from her eyes.
He had practically given her a death sentence.
"W...what do we do??" she whispered, staring at the woman for a long time. "I... I don't....---"
She didn't want to lose the closest thing to family she had, aside from her father.
"Can... can we heal her??"

Kaguyo didn't waste time talking.
She grabbed Ainsu and exited, before she realized something else.
"No... No. We shouldn't have done that." she whispered, looking around. "********..! She cut off the air in the central command... No, this is something she has under control. We can't live without breathing... She can. We can't go. We need to find somewhere that'll hold air. We can't let what air we have escape into the vacuum..."

"How are we supposed to unlock the base with her now?" Kaguyo sighed. "She has everything shut down... Fine. Come on. Let's see what we can do, hero. Be careful about your arm." she warned.

Yuki didn't answer, however, staring at the chamber in silence.
She looked older and more tired all of a sudden.
To her, them saying things like that was really a more gentle way of saying that it was doubtful she'd make it out of this.
She didn't like such subtlety.
She watched Shiori for a few more minutes before shivering angrily, throwing her clipboard across the room. As she stormed from the room, she additionally knocked over a chair, almost tripping.
She was quite upset. How was one supposed to take that sort of news??
She sat down in the hall and cried, hugging her knees to her chest.

Yuki just bawled, unable to breathe long enough to even say one word.
She was despairing.
Who could blame her??

Kazuhiko watched Shiori closely. "I wonder if I could heal her." he murmured to himself, tilting his head. "I don't want her to die Otousan..."

Kaguyo nodded. "We'll do what we can...."
They approached the door, the woman blasting it apart herself this time.
Ainsu needed to save some of his energy to help fight the b*****d off.

Yuki buried her head in Watari's shoulder, resting against him limply.
She cried for a very long time in that hallway with him, unsure of how else to react to the news. She was shocked to say the least, but in a way she wasn't surprised.
Shiori had always been beautifully pale... although sometimes, it was a bit ghostly.
She did exhibit a lot of the symptoms...


Kazuhiko nodded. "Shi-chan." he whispered, glancing to Aled and Po-ar. "She knew better than anyone... no wonder she's so sad all the time..."
He floated in front of the tank, sending his healing energy into the waters.
"I won't let her die." he decided after a while. "Not now. I want her to see some happiness, old age..."
Kit wasn't around to stop him. What could she do now?

Kaguyo had two spheres forming in her hands as well, watching Aoki closely.
"Let her go Aoki-san." she stared, voice calm and soft. "You're after us after all, not her...."

Kaguyo looked worried by this. "And....how exactly will that be???"

Kazuhiko glanced back to her. "She's not going to die yet Ojiisan." he smiled sadly. "It's going to be hard though. She'll need to be taken care of... She can't miss her medicine once... Not once, ok Ojiisan??"

Yuki nodded, but she couldn't stop crying.
It didn't get much worse for her than this.
"I...I...Is it, is it, p, p, p-possible??" she looked up at him, tears running down her cheeks. "Please, t-tell me, really??"

Kaguyo blinked, pale.
Wow, things were getting pretty dire...
"You'll slaughter them all anyhow..." she whispered, staring at him. "Where is she??"

Kazuhiko nodded. "She needs hope..." he agreed quietly. "She's sad like Kaze-lady was without Susan..."
Watching the woman, it wasn't hard to tell the kid was right.
He glanced to Aled. "Maybe you should keep her company Ojiisan..."

Yuki sniffled, but was beginning to calm down. "H...hai..." she nodded, "You're right... you're right..."
She wiped her eyes, starting to stand up. "We... we should help her now... I... I shouldn't be crying, like this... when.. when I could, be helping..."
She was trying so hard not to burst into tears again.
