She tried to sniff the blood back up into her nose but to no avail and merely held the veiling up to catch the blood. "Thanks Piper..." No, not a happy elf. She had only been trying to help Arthur, knowing how uncomfortable he was in his winey clothes and how he didn't like the way he smelled- his body language had convinced her of that. And she'd fully planned to use the wind to dry him off but Sevilin had beaten her to it. She admitted it was probably silly to react so harshly to Arthur messing up her hair but she took a great deal of pride in her appearance and he had to go and screw with it. Still, all things considered, the ice had definitely been too much. Her nose didn't bleed for very long and she brushed the ice pieces off her lap with a sweep of her hand, then lifted her hands to her eyes and swiped at tears still sniffling. She just wanted to go home. "It's okay Arthur, I suppose I deserved that a little bit." Sniffling again she ran a hand over her face to erase any other spots of water, tears, or blood. Not having fun at all. "I think I have an excuse to go home now..." Turning to look at Piper who was minus clean veiling on one arm. "And so do you..."

Pheaura was again greeted by that strange language. She shook her head. She didn't understand a word the salesman said, and she wasn't getting anywhere. She figured the imps pointed her in the wrong direction for a laugh.
"I am very sorry, sir," she began, "but I think I am in the wrong place. I must have followed the wrong directions. I am looking for a room to rent, but I will leave and get out of your way. My apologies for disturbing you."

"Inn." A universal word. "Inn hiss frey." He took Pheaura's hand and lead her out of the store, not without lockign the door, and then lead her to a neihbouring building, which looked exactly like his. THe patron looked at Pheaura, and raised a brow.
"I don't rent for hour visits."
"Hager Udder Idle hound, who flounder yonder laggen."
"You don't say." The keep replied, "Welcome to the Inn, other than that gruff dwarf in the corner, you'll be the only visiter today. Please have a seat, and me girl will ask you an order." He said with a rather estimed voice.

Pheaura nodded to the store keep who had brought her here. "Thank you she said, and passed him a couple of coins.
"Thank you for your hospitality. How much is it per night here?" She asked the inn keep. She wasn't about to take advantage of anyone kindness. Kindness was no longer a reality in the world she lived in.

She examined now wet and blood veiling on one side as Zahara mentioned she had an excuse, though her look went over to the crowd, picking out Malik easily enough, still engaged in conversation. Well...it wasn't like she was second to him, he often said they were equals. And they were her guests. Looking back to them she shook her head lightly. "I have to stay...but you three and go ahead and leave if you wish. You're all uncomfortable and hurt, no need to make you stay here." Her look turned pointedly to Zahara. "You can have Serino take you three back. Just unhitch him, get a ride and send him back. Don't mind what Malik has to say on it, you're my guests not his."
She had never said something so wonderful. Of course he remained stoic as ever and a look over to the other two she was referring to. "Sounds reasonable enough." Yup, sounded like a good excuse to him. Except for the horse riding part because he hated them, but beggers couldn't be choosers. He was quite wanting to get out...too much cheer, too many people.

"It depends on the serve, Lass." He waved the merchant away, "If you want to stay like the dwarf, Mason over there, you'll have to pay a gold and a steel each week. If you want half o what he's gettin, you'll pay fifty four steel coins."
((Mason is Holly's))

Arthur shook his head lightly at Zahara's comment after he apologized, she didn't deserve it he was just being a complete..."I was an idiot you didn't deserve any of it Zahara, you were trying to help me I guess but I was still mad at you for dumping the wine on me so I didn't see it as a way for you to be helping me so this was my fault and I'm really sorry." After apologizing to Zahara again Arthur then kept his mouth shut, not wanting to babble one and make himself look more like a fool, besides they have now found a way to leave early and go home which was a good thing though Arthur hated that causing Zahara to cry was the reason they could go. "Alright then." He muttered to Piper telling them how they could get home, he liked the fact that they were Piper's guests not Malik's so really it was up to the surface elf in what they could do; and Arthur just had enough of this ball, he wanted to go home and to bed maybe he even might reverie something other than this night.

Pheaura pulled out fifty-four steel coins. Her new life got her a cutsom to a rougher life style. Most of her money was spent on her weapons, armor, or helping those out who she deemed fit. It left little for her to live on, but she didn't mind.
"I don't mean to bother you," she passed the inn keep his coins, "but where exactly am I? I got lost a long way back and lost my map in a....anyway I was wandering aimlessly until I found this place."

"Tis is Deep Water, the old' Center of the universe." He replied honestly, "We've been picked to be King Jiscal's own people, and he's a good king. Gots us food, and cut back on taxes."

King Jiscal, Pheaura mulled in her head, she had heard of him before. Probably from other nobles when she was hired, but she didn't think she had met him personally.
"Thank you for you help, may I inquire you name so I won't have to call you inn keep all the time?"

"Me name is Innis Keeper of Inns." He replied. "Me dad were an Inn keeper, as his dad, as his dad, all the way back to when time began." At least, 1500 years of innkeepers.

"One of your scouts is in my care. came to my home nearly dead, mauled by a shadow cat, which I have come to know is now deceased. I'll be sending him back as soon as he is able to make the trip, and I have food and other services to offer..in exchange for your alliegence. I can provide military protection and training and abundance of food. and am more than willing to do such if you'll give me the pleasure of knowing that you are my allies, and not Jiscals."
Though he noted the commontion at the table, and caught piper's look, oh well..she'd let them go home..wait a second..piper's viel was bloody. what the hell was going on over there.
Onyx took Aella's hands lightly, and gave them a small squeeze.
"I've missed seeing you. You look raidiant. Are you staying with the Oracle now, or are you still ship bound?"
though something cuaght his nose. something that was akin to blood. and the snarls of animals...his ear flicking that way.

"Well, it is a very noble job indeed, without you, weary travelers like myself wouldn't have a place to rest. You are like our angels," she smiled at the last comment she made. She knew if she had contact with heaven they would surly kill her for something like that.
"Say, Innis, do you know if there has been anything...funny...happening here? I mean in the way of violence, or war, or skirmishes, or anything?"

She was rather thrilled to know that they could go home as well. That's all she really wanted to do and in a spur of the moment reaction she threw her arms around Piper's neck and hugged her tightly. "Are you sure you won't come with us?" But she knew the answer to that, she wasn't going to leave Malik's side. Nodding once she slowly stood up and began walking towards the exit. It was a simple matter to have the carriage brought round and Serino unhooked. A few whispered words to him, a quick apple that she pulled from who the hell knew where and she was already appealing to his good nature. "Piper has requested that you take us home Serino." Letting him know what was going on before she gracefully, even in her pregnant state, climbed onto his back and reached down a hand for one of the others.

Innis laughed, not because of the angel remark, he got that alot actually, but from the question of war. "We've been i n a perpetual state of non-violence since Jiscal took over. His opponents seem to turn up dead, our enemies sundered, and the only people to bring us fear are dinning in the Castle Hall with our most beloved king. I doubt you couldn't find a use amongst the nobles, trying to claim back the streets from the monsters that seem to sneak in. We used to have troubles with a demon eating peoples livers." He missed identified the actual orgin. " He paused, "And the merchants who stay here from the North, the Dragnons, they complain of frequently meeting a nasty sea witch, who charms their captains and leads the ship into ruin." Or somethign like that.
"Good Old King Jiscal," He is only 25, "Is recruiting from us the best and brightest to fill up his army. He says we needs to be strong enough to stand out the storm, one which may be frought with orcish arrows and monsters of which would make our walls and hosues merciful before god."
"I am sure, if you be a mercanary as you seem to be," Dressed, speaking, and acting as she was, "I think work be here, but not typical stuff like inhouse fueds or rebellion." Most 'houses' were decimated.
