Hartley let out a sigh. As the week had gone on, ennui had caught up with him and he didn't feel like going anywhere, much less to some stupid school dance. Especially not with BillyandTeddy, because BillyandTeddy made him want to claw his ear-implants out and go back to the blissfull non-BillyandTeddyness of being deaf.
Hartley trudged to the door and joined...oh, Jesus Christ...a chipmunk, whatever the hell Billy was supposed to be, and George Michael circa Wham!. Whoever came up with this theme needed to be dragged into the street and put out of their misery.
"Yeah, hey. All right, let's go."
Hartley was acutely aware of the other three staring at him. He was dressed in a black turtleneck, black jeans and a pair of glasses with his hair slicked back. He sighed again.
"I'm from 'Sprockets.' Get it?"
More blank stares.
"From Saturday Night Live?"
Flickers of recognition.
*sigh*
"DO YOU VANT TO TOUCH MY MONKEY?" Oh, there's the recognition, NOW. Hartley rolled his eyes slightly.
"All right, you got the impression. Let's go and get this over with."

Opening the door, Karen had on a little 80s garb herself. She was surprised to see the flowers still at the door. She smiled to herself. He was so sweet... too bad he had to go and break my heart and lie to me.
She put the flowers in a mug of water, since she didn't have a vase. Then headed out the door to the dance, secretly hoping to see Anakin there. She may have told him off, but she still liked him...
Besides.
She still had to warn Achilles about the possible attack on Mysia.

"Ok. Cool." Pam held onto Loki's hand as he teleported them to the dance building.
There seemed to be something odd about Loki's calling her beautiful. Pammie was used to Loki flirting with her, but he always did it in a teasing way. She looked at Loki's straight-forward and serious face as he said it. In response, Pam facetiously grabbed tightly onto Loki's arm in a faux-dramatic manner and gazed up into his eyes seductively, but with a grin on her lips. "Oh, do you mean that Loki? Is that your bit of mischief? Don't play with my emotions; I'm a very sensitive girl." She continued to grin as she bit down on her lower lip. "C'mon flower, let's go find them." And with that she walked with Loki into the hall.

Jen looked up at the stage as the light show from Dazzler continued with the music. It looked really spectacular in amongst all the paper snowflakes and streamers that in the normal light looked really tacky.
"That's some really cool powers!" Jen said.
She looked around her the hall was still pretty empty. It felt so dorky to be the first ones there. The dance floor was still empty and Jen looked around to see if there was anyone brave enough to start yet.
She saw in the distance Wally, Cassie and Achilles' friend at the door of the Hall. Jen didn't think anything of it, she didn't see Achilles yet so no use running off to change. She'd hope some others would come to speak to them soon. She was feeling the need to speak even though it was hard to hear over the music.
"Hey Chris do you think Dazzler will take requests?" Jen asked.

Dani pulled a reluctant Scandal to the dance floor, after asking her to dance. She jumped, jives, and shook her shoulders to the beat of the music. Scandal seemed a little stiff, but maybe this just wasn't her jam...
After the song ended, she noticed Chris and Jen taking a table next to Clark and Lois.
"Hey guys!"
She waved to them, escorting her date to the table to meet her friends. She then introduced her date, she seemed a little shy.
"This is Scandal."

Jen waved at Dani and gestured for her to come over.
"I love your outfit!" Jen said to Dani. She waved at Scandal who did seem to avoiding speaking at all costs. "I was just wondering if we should go up to Dazzler and ask for requests. There's a ton of 80's music I listen to."

Sure, Jen, I think she would. She seems to have a special place in her heart for this place.
*Chris boggled as Dani approached with Scandal and introduced her. She was dating a girl? Dani never mentioned that she liked girls. And a teacher's kid at that.
Scandal nodded to Lois, Clark, Chris, and Jen. She'd have to step carefully around these do gooders. Especially Kent.*
Hello. I am very happy to meet Dani's friends.
*No one missed the fact that Scandal clasped Dani's hand a bit possessively. Uh oh...Cassie and this girl will clash, Chris thought.*

"I want to ask for some Cyndi Lauper." Jen said. She looked around to see if she could see her cousin.
He as at the back of the hall with a bow tie and Betty Ross was speaking away to him. With Betty here he was completely distracted.
"Do you wanna dance yet Chris? Or should we get some punch before it gets spiked?"
She watched Dani and her friend sitting down, Jen saw how Scandal had clasped onto Dani's hand. 'That's really sweet.' She thought and tried not to stare in case she got thought of being too curious.

*Chris grabbed Jen and dragged her out on the floor as Dazzler began to sing Take My Breath Away.
Scandal grinned wickedly at Dani and whispered in her ear.*

"Gee I dunno." Jen sighed but she was dragged up. She didn't really want to get drunk as She-Hulk she was immune to alcohol but as plain Jen she might end up transforming at will and busting some more doors.
"Isn't this song a little difficult to dance to?" Jen said as she was lead onto the floor and tried to step back and forth. She gave another quick glance to the wall and saw Bruce watching.
"Sorry, Betty I should really keep an eye on Jen." He said to his fiancee.
"Well why don't we dance too silly?" Betty laughed. "I keep telling you leave Jen be, she's a smart kid and maybe Chris is good for her? She's been in her human form for most of the week right? You haven't received any damage bills from Professor Prince all week too."
"I guess, shall we dance then?" He coughed adjusting his bow tie and glasses.

I don't think it's hard to danc- eep!
*Chris started dancing Jen in the opposite direction from an irriatted looking Banner who was dancing towards them with Betty. Don't smash! I'm being good! he thought.*

Jen saw Bruce coming towards her with irritation. "I can't really get drunk with Dr Party Pooper on my case." Jen grumbled.
She grabbed Chris' back and spun him round. "Let's spin this way!" Jen said and tried to do a slow dance spin away from her cousin.
'I swear if he even tries to talk to me he's going to be in one heck of a time at Christmas!'
She tried giving more death glares to Banner and she was caught by Betty who just smiled and waved at her.
"More spinning escape!" Jen said and tried her best to manoeuvre Chris away. (She wasn't very good at letting a guy take the lead.)

Anakin had the perfect illusion of David Bowie. WHY IN THE FORCE WAS HE HERE?! That's right... Karen... of course who knew if she would give him the time of day. He groaned, felt like giving half the student body a wedgie.... yeah that would fun. It's then he heard three voices in his head.
" We can't read your thoughts but we can see though your disguise."
" You should leave we already know what you did."
" You stole our pannies! You stupid jedi."
Anakin frowned. He knew who the girls were, they were the cuckoos, annoying telepaths who thought they knew everything. Even though they were able to see though his disguise thanks to the force they couldn't exactely read his mind or control him. Still they could cause problems for him. Telepathically he spoke back to them.
" Look right now I'm not causing any problems okay.'
' No you wanted to give everyone a wedgie."
" Well.... that would be fun."
" Grr... Don't you ever learn?"
" Don't you ever have fun?"
" We should tell Ms. Frost on you."
" Tattle tails ..."
" Are NOT!"
" Oh? So you won't tell on me ?"
" Do we get our pannies back?"
" I don't know... their soft and in such pretty colors. Maybe I should get your bras to match."
" STUPID JEDI!"
" Yeah, whatever brats!"
With that Anakin walked off to find Karen. It would probably be a good idea to get out of here soon. The triplets were definetely going to get him more then kicked out.

*Chris was yanked away in another spin by Jen. He kinda liked this. Jen asserting herself a bit. He gave Banner a helpless shrug as the glare continued and then Betty smiled at him. At least she seemed nice enough.*
Wanna pull his chain? We could threaten to make out in the middle of the dance floor is he keeps following you around.
*At that moment, Donnie Blake walked in with Kori and the rest of the football team entered with the cheerleaders. Donnie scanned the gym and found Powell...*
HA! Dumped by a cheerleader and now with a nerd! WHAT A FALL FROM GRACE, POWELL!
*Chris gritted his teeth.*
I would so love to shove his hammer where the sun don't shine...

Dani giggles, squeezing her hand lightly.
"Dance? You just said my favorite word!"
Grinning she took Scandal to the Dance floor. As they made their way to it. The best 80's song ever created hit the sound system
"Thriller" by Micheal Jackson!!
This of course got the Ghouls of Monster High to join in the festivities as well.
