"Shades pecular talents would be quite useful about now. Just the way of things I suppose, he's never there when he is needed." The images all raise their right hands in unison. Their claws grow to about five feet long. Slowly a thick black smoke engulfs them. when it is dispelled all but one figure is gone. The one left no longer resembles anything remotely human. It's red eyes burn with bloodlust and the pleasure gained by causing total panic. It's mouth is split in a feral grin showing rows upon rows of needle sharp teeth. The legs are long and thin, bending backward at the knees suggesting incredible overland speed. The entire frame ripples with muscle. In the blink of an eye it seems to dissappear, only to be spotted moments later behind Osiris, the tips of its claws dripping with blood. An inhuman sound that is unmistakably the creatures voice is heard more whith the mind than the ears. "Now the game has truly started."
((Note that the claws dripping blood is not an auto hit. Half of everything on Gatha is an illusion, as it is said in its description, therefore this only counts as a hit if you confirm it. Sorry for any confusion.))

Osiris blinked twice, then raised his hand to where there were bleeding streaks across his cheek. The cuts were thin and shallow, but regardless...
He smiled. "Oh good. I was starting to think that I'd have no challenge here. It's been s long since I've had any fun."
He vanished from sight, then appeared right behind the thing and swung his claws in at an impossible speed.

Stepping sidways with blinding speed the thing grabs Osiris's arm while he is off balance and attempts to throw him to the ground. It smiles in anticipation at the thought of having a helpless victim lying at its feet.

Hope wondered when Ted would be back and what he was doing, then she wondered if he was coming back at all. She shivered a bit at the though and clutched the small, cooing dragon closer to herself.
Xavier raised in eyebrow at Dark's new apperance before slowly sitting down a ways off: maybe he would watch instead..he was curious as to what Dark had become, and if he had really become this strange thing or if it was all just an illusion. Either way it was intresting, and he didn't feel like fighting if he could simply watch to see what would happen.

When Kate woke up, she spotted Ted back in male form, and sighed. Good, she thought. I was only dreaming. Then she caught sight of his wings, and she groaned. She hadn't dreamed it all. "Ted?" she called out. "When did you get wings, and when did you become a girl, and why are you a guy, and oh my head hurts."
Ted chuckled. "I am a guy, but I can now shapeshift. I just like the wings, and they feel natural to me now. I believe that I am a daimon. But I have to leave again. As much as I love hanging out with my sis, I came for some vegetables for a friend." At friend, he blushed. This didn't go unnoticed by Kate.
"So, Ted, you have finally found someone you like." Ted nodded. "Finally. I thought you were gonna end up a hermit, and live alone, or start liking men. Now I know your preference. Is she cute? What's she look like? Is she prettier than me?" Ted just continued growing redder, until he turned and walked into the kitchen.
Reemerging with a basket of potatoes and carrots, he looked at his sister. "Yes, she is cute. She looks like an angel, literally. But I don't know how she feels about me, so I'm not gonna rush anything. But I have to get back so I don't worry her at all. Love ya, Sis. See ya." He walked outside, opened the portal, and stepped through.

Hope was still spacing off when another portal opened up and Ted stepped out, making her jump slightly with a small eeking sound. She lightly rested one of her hands above her chest, trying to get her heart beating back to normal. "Y-you scared m-me.." she said before laughing weakly, sounding relieved at the same time: she was glad that Ted had come back, and that he was alright. Hope blinked, tilting her head a bit at the sight of the basket in his hands, wondering what he had with him.

When Fayt made it home he grabbed his bow, quiver, and spellbook. He headed towards the edge of the village. I can't stay here. I have to learn more about this crystal. Fayt thought to himself, exiting Haven.

Osiris vanished right before he hit the ground and stood ready to fight several feet away. "Wow...you're good. I'm looking forward to this fight." He smiled innocently, then once again vanished and reappeared right on top of the thing, driving his claws at its face.

Fayt walked out and saw the guards from earlier awake again. He was unnoticed at first so he shot one with an arrow and shot another high in the air with earth. "one left." He said then twirled some wind together fastly. "Twin Dragon Wind Strike." He said to himself making two little dragons out of air. "hold him off for a second." They nodded, jumped off his hands, and then grew bigger. They weren't very strong but they were good for scaring an opponent thats a weak human. Then he aimed his bow as the man was too scared to look down from the dragons. He licked his lips aiming at his moving target as the dragons chased him around. Fayt engulfed the arrow in wind to make it faster right as he shot it. "aww man. I missed the heart." He said As it hit the man in the arm. ThenFayt shot fire at him. Knowing the other would fall soon he readied his bow again. He shot the arrow just as he hit the ground. He put his bow on his back and headed off.

The creature twists its head out of the way of the claws and slithers out from underneath Osiris, standing up again behing him on its hands. It starts spinning around trying to hit him with its legs. "You don't seem too bad yourself. Almost had me."

Osiris skipped back and shot forward low, claws slashing the air as fast as he could make them. He grunted to acknowledge the compliment.

Ted smiled when he heard Hope. So she was worried about him? He could tell by the tone of her voice that she was. "Sorry. I stopped by my house so I could pick up some things. That's what's in the basket. Vegetables for the meal. I knew that if you didn't like the meat, you could still have some regular food and not go hungry. I also scared my sister a bit, making her think I was a girl." He laughed joyfully, rethinking of the occurance.

Hope blinked, blushing slightly when he mentioned getting the vegetables for her: so that's where he had gone.."Th-thank you.." she murmured as she watched the fire, her hands clutching the little blue dragon, smiling and nearly giggling when he mentioned his sister thought he was a girl.
Xavier made himself comfortable, enjoying this fight: it was incredibly interesting, and kept his attention. He wondered who would win, Dark or this man called Osiris. He settled down a bit more, his tail slowly curling around near his paws as he sat there and watched the two brawl it out.

Using his hands to spring into the air and away from Osiris, he twists into a summersault and lands on his feet a good distance away. Three faint lines of blood start to trickle from nearly unseen scratches on the right side of his face. Retracting the claws on one hand he reaches up to wipe the blood away. As he does so, the flesh on that side literally falls off. Staring from the blood on his fingers to the gory pile of meat on the ground at his feet, he then looks at Osiris. Half of his jawbone is revealed through the hole made in his face, the shocking horror of this sight is made even worse when it is realized that he is smiling. "I seem to have underestimated your speed. I don't think I'll be doing that again." His claws extend once again and he shifts into a battle ready stance. "Shall we continue?"

Osiris bowed and smiled cheerfully. "By all means." He took up a comabt stance as well, focusing his mind on the fight as well as the powers it would take him to win it.
