He bowed his head. "It'll never fit... the bone was broken, right at the tibia, you see?" he sighed heavily. "It means that I need to find new bones."

She jumped at the sound of his voice,"You...you startled me..."She said,setting the bones on the bed just in case he was angry at her.

"No, it's very serious business... if I amputate my legs right here, I'll be able to continue," Faust said softly. "The reason being that I'll still be alive... dead bones won't work, for this kind of resurrection... but if I'm still alive, they will."

She shuddered,"Don't do that...There has to be someone else's you can use! I'm sure the hospital has alot! There's so many amputations from gun shots and stuff.."She said, trying to disuade him.

"We could... but there's no time," Faust said. "And would you give someone who looks like me spare bones? It's OK... I might need some help, though, with my way." he was already tying a tourniquet around his lower thigh. "Do you have a bathtub I could use?"

"Yeah. If I faint, wake me up," Faust instructed. "And... um.... if I start to stop, for any reason, make sure I go through with it." he took off his pants, sitting on the edge of the bathtub in his under-shorts and tightening the tourniquet.
