The creature screamed as the spirits flew through it. The spirits seemed to burn its metal skin. It wasn't dying but perhaps it was vulnerable.
Gwendar stood up and ran at the beast ounce more. He would have been able to hit it if it wernt for more of the smaller beasts blocking his path.
Togan:
"fine fine." he said sitting back down frustrated.
all he wanted was to learn how to fight so that he would be able to show Gren that he could take care of himself. It seemed like no matter how hard he tried he couldn't get Gren to notice him. Not as much as he would like anyway.

well that was pretty *he said as he waved to sero to run on* lets see that leaves me with 12 potions left this could be fun *he said to himself as he slashed a creature in half while he was stillon the run towards the castle*

Jane protected Nebride as other monsters tried to attack. She sliced and dodged, hitting them with spells of her own. "They keep coming," she muttered. One of the monsters tried to claw at Nebride, but Jane jumped in front of her and took the hit. The monster's claws raked down her arm and she hissed in pain.
A root came up from the ground and grasped the monster. It tried to struggle free, but the root's hold was too firm. Suddenly the moster was torn apart and it's body parts when flying in different directions.
Jane breathed heavily and kept fighting.

he saw Jane take a blow for Nebride.
she would really give her life for another....how honorable he thought while he cleaved his way toward her.
"are you alright Jane?" he asked keeping a close eye on Nebride hoping she was ok. Her efforts seemed to distract the large beast.

Jane looked to Gwendar. "I am fine, thank you. Nebride is vulernable when she's like this. It takes a lot of concentration to bring those spirits forth." She glanced up at the creature. "We should try to destroy it while she has it distracted."

this is bad SERO TAKE COVER*he yelled as a barage of arrows came in towards the 2 of them* archers i hate archers....oh well i have a idea *he said as he took a swig of his tea* this should just fine he said as he picked up a 3 foot pleace of slte and held up up over hif head directed towards the arrows* ....i really hope this works

i picked up the plates and walked into the kitchen to clean them. they were covered in basil, olive oil, garlic, and noodles. i put them in the sink and turned on the water. there was a sponge at the edge of the sink. i picked that up and scrubbed with soap.

thank harmony that worked *he said as he stood there with teh slate over his head movvign towards the tower* man this is going to take for ever this way but i suppose its better than a arrow to the head

He nodded and jumped onto the back of the beast.
He continued to drive his halberd into the beasts back slowly hacking it to pieces.
"i can hurt it but its not dying" he yelled
Sero:
he agreed with Elazul. He pulled out his bow and held a few arrows.
Whereever the arrows were coming from he could bet his arrows would hit them first.
He jumped out from behind the piece of slate and fired as many arrows as he could.
The result was 10 or so beast lying on the ground trying desperately to pull the arrows out of there various limbs.
Togan:
he walked in after Gren and helped her wash up.
"i think its been 20 minutes by now" he said hoping they could start soon. he was sick of being a student.

Jane growled as she started muttering spells and sending them crashing into the beast. It was beginning to weaken, but it wasn't dead yet. "Come on, I need to find the right spell," she muttered under her breath. She glanced over to see Nebride starting to lose concentration. Even for a high priestess, keeping these spirits out so long and doing so much took a lot of energy. Nebride wasn't going to last much longer.
"Gwender! We need to hurry! Nebride's not going to last much longer like this," Jane exclaimed.

i looked at the clock on the wall and smirked. "you wish. 5 more minutes. follow me" i walked outside and around the back of the house. it was a nice sized clearing. i sat down calmly on the grass and motioned for him to sit as well. i stared at him strait in the eye. "from this point on. you will no longer be recieving normal training"

he looked at Nebride and realized she was starting to tire out.
"DAMB IT DIE!!" he yelled driving his halberd deep within the back of the beast. With a leap he jumped of the Beast and summoned his wings. Flying over head he recalled his halberd into his hand.
The beast wounded greatly broke away from the spirits Nebride had conjured.
Gwendar flew down and seconds before colliding with the beast hurlded his halberd at the beast.
The spear hit directly in What looked like the beasts head.
he landed next to Nebride hoping to help support her.
The beast limping from the wound was still not dead.
"DAMB IT WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO KILL YOU"
Togan:
he was confused.
"what do you mean normal training stops?" he didnt quite understand.
was his training over? it couldnt be they hadnt gone through sword training yet.

Nebride staggered as she finally lost concentration and the spirits went back into the earth. She looked up at the beast to find it wonded and moving with difficulty. She examined it, trying to figure out how to kill it. Nebride looked over at Gwendar and smiled when she saw his wings.
"Nebride--are you okay?" Jane asked quietly as she stood by her friends side.
Nebride looked over at Jane. "Yes---thank you for everything that you are doing."

i detached my sword sheath from my belt and laid it out in front of him, with the sword still inside. "you will be using this" i replied, looking him directly in the eyes. "it's very light, and very sharp. don't touch the edge of the blade and you should be fine." i paused for a moment, to let it sink into his brain.
"don't get cocky just because you get to use a real sword for first time training. when used properly, it can be deadly. when used carelessly, it can also be deadly. use caution." i stood up.
"we'll start by practicing swings without the sword"

he made sure Jane was taking care of nebride as he turned to face the beast.
"BY THE EMPEROR YOU SHALL FALL!!" he yelled charging ounce again toward the beast.
the beast itself stood on its hind legs ready for the assault. Gwendar leaped into the air and flew directly at the beast stabbing it with his halberd. He had cut straight through the beast and crashed on the ground on the other side.
The beast gave a huge scream and fell to pieces of blood and severed chains.
he staggered trying to stand as he made his way back to Nebride.
he finally collapsed near her totally drained.
he got up only to see 40 or so smaller beasts making there way toward them.
"damb it!....Jane get Nebride out of here....ill distract them" he said
Sek:
"YARR!!" he bellowed splitting the creature in two as he burst through the gate and onto the top of the tower.
He turned around to see his three remaining men holding of the entrance to the top of the tower killing beast after beast.
He now saw the true cause for the tower standing in front of him.
"HAHA....YOU SHALL MEET YOUR END HERE HUNTER" the hellmancer yelled conjuring a large flaming sword.
"THEN I SHALL TAKE YOU WITH ME HELLSPAWN!!" he screamed back lunging at his foe.
Sero:
He and Elazul had finally gotten to the base of the tower. He saw dozens more creatures around its base and what looked like people on the other side of the tower.
"ELAZUL there are people over there!" he yelled pulling out his bow and letting fly to some arrows.
