A little disturbed at what she ahd just witnessed Nic moved away from Eden and a little more into view so she could be seen and she could see what was going on. Seeing Reiku come out of Twilights cockpit and walk over towards the stranger she figured that it would be okay to take a slow walk over. Her hands found their way to her pockets where they were bound to stay for a while she let out a small sigh. This place is just too crazy for me sometimes...

"What," Okk asked calmly as he turned his head towards the approaching footsteps. His eyes narrowed as he recognized the child approaching him. The fool. But he didn't have an annoyed look, instead he appeared content with his shoulders relaxed. The only sign of displeasure was from the pain in his ankle which was swelling with every moment and making his shoe uncomfortable.

He let out a slight sigh as he stopped in front of Okk. " Sorry about earlier. Like Kayako said I'm not a big fan of any one who looks like a UF fighter but now since I can get a better look you don't look like one of them. " He sat down as he looked over at Nic who was coming over. He waved for her to come sit with them.

With a slight nod to acknowledge him Nic continued on her way over to them. Making it over to the two after Reiku had said something she stood next to Reiku and the new comer. She was curious as to what had happened while she was losing what little sanity she had left with Rain and Ryouki. He's older than me... Nic thought as she quickly studied him.

Okk looked over the two briefly, both were young and the boy was younger than he had previously thought. "Don't apologize," he calmly barked his words, giving the kid a stern glare, "if it was an accident fine, apologize. But everything that happened in that kind of situation does not warrant an apology. I appreciate the politeness but don't worry over it, or do you apologize to people you kill as well?" The question was rhetorical but he expected the kid to answer, which would end up being worth a laugh or two.

He let out a slight sigh. " No I don't I just see them as nobody so I just blast them out of the way. " He crossed his arms as he looked over at his LFO. " We should get your ankle checked out. " He looked back at Okk.

"Young, naive, gullible," he says with a deadpan before smirking and glancing down at his ankle. "I'll live, it's just a sprain." Okk crossed his arms over his chest and shrugged his shoulders to adjust the strap that held his bag. "Well, what're your names," he asked the two, with a weak smile.

Reiku nodded slightly. " Mine's Reiku Gearfried. " He smiled slightly as he looked at Nic then back at Okk. " If you don't mind why where you out here? with all those traps sent up? " He moved a strain of hair away from his eye.

At this point Nic wouldn't mind trying to take a step back and slip away from the conversation. Sure it would be interesting to hear how this all happened but it really wasn't something she felt important at the time. But she didn't want to leave the two alone in case something did happen for who knows why.

"I already explained the situation, I'm not going to do it twice." Okk answered quickly yet did not show any detectable sign of agitation. He was calm and composed as he spoke and adjusted his equipment at the same time, his eyes aimed at his bag the entire time. Whoever the masked soldier was back at the port, they knew where to find the smoke grenade and how to trigger it. "Noli, was that you," he asked himself in his mind as he looked up at Reiku then the young woman.

"Okay..." Nic said trying to change the conversation, "how about I just go get you some ice to keep the swelling down?" Holding out a hand flat as if she was holding a tray at shoulder height and gave a slight shrug. Silently praying to herself that everything would just go on and end queitly and calmly. But there was no chance of that happening with Kayako and the others around...where is that Kayako anyways she said she was going to be right back. she thought to herself as she studied the new comer and how he was looking at his bag. How strange...and in thought?

"I'm fine," he said once more as he looked up from his bag and slid it around behind him. The attention was beginning to suffocate him and Okk found himself flabbergasted. He looked in the direction in which Kayako had gone and wondered what was taking her so long to return.

Still wanting to leave the area and the cold air that was around it Nic just waved and continued on her way. Perhaps I should go find Kayako...Nah she's bound to come soon. she thought to herself. Finding a reflection some where she took a look at the two she had left. Holding her hand hand to her face she let out a small sigh and just walked out.

"You said that you would check her."
"When have I had the time?! It's been one incident after another! I can't just grab her and strip her Gray, you have to be calm about these thin-"
"Kayako, this is important! Do you want to get us all killed?! It only takes one little slip-up for them to corner us, and we don't have time for games. Do you really want to risk her hurting someone? Not everyone on this ship is as strong as us, she could easily kill them while our backs are turned!"
Kayako crossed her arms and looked off to her side down the hallway where the two stood. They had only walked a little ways away from the hangar to talk, but they were at such a distance that they were confident the others wouldn't overhear. Across from her, Gray sat himself down on the floor, obviously just as distressed as she was. This was likely the most emotional either of them had been in a long while, and for good reason.
"Did you......see anything? A glow, or...?"
"Nothing was visibly different about her. If it's an implanted control method, it's a good one. It's bypassed detection until now."
"You think that it's another drive, is what you're saying."
"No. If it was a drive, it would have an outbound signal able to be sensed by the both of us. And her strength wasn't enhanced at all during the attack."
"But you still think it's him."
"No one else would go through this much just to get to us."
Kayako slid down to the ground and drew her knees up to her chest, burying her face in her arms. "Why......why did it have to be her?! If he only wanted to kill us, he could've sent someone else! A soldier, or even some kind of stupid robot....why her? Just to make us squirm?! What kind of monster do you have to be to do this to people?!" She knew that she wouldn't get an answer; this wasn't something that condolences could be offered for. But she needed to vent her frustration. All through previous encounters with Xellien, she was never able to understand why anyone would do the things he did, or go to such lengths to ruin the lives of innocent people. She had to conclude that such people were just black holes of nothingness inside. There was no other explanation.
"......Where is she now?"
"She was scared, I think she ran off to her room. If it helps, I doubt she'll make any other moves soon. Any outside data signal would be muffled by the ship's layers, and there's no question that she has a strong resistance to whatever was controlling her."
"Tonight, then. After I finish getting everything situated I'll pay her a visit."
Kayako stood up and, wiping her face with her arm, turned and headed off down the hallways back towards the hangar. Gray started to follow but stopped, deciding that it was best to leave the purple-haired girl alone for now. Instead he turned the opposite way and vanished off to some place, leaving Kayako to do her job.
---------
Asuka walked over to where Reiku and Okk were talking, reasoning that she should probably do something about the rising tension in the room. She had the sneaking suspicion that Kayako had gotten herself tangled up in something complicated again, and thus the duty of keeping people from killing each other fell on her.
"The Captain will be back soon." she assured them "I apologize for the wait, but this ship warrants alot of attention from her. And she, uh....she has alot going on in her personal life, too." Asuka hoped that that last sentence hadn't sounded weird, but suspected that it had nonetheless.

"Right," said Okk with a dull stare before looking up and letting out a heavy breath. He didn't want to seem rude or impatient but frustration always carried with it a lack of subtlety. Right about now he could have finished up tending to his ankle and been on his merry way towards some semblance of civilization away from UF control. The last sentence spoken by the girl was enough to make him gag amongst his thoughts. Drama was better saved for a time after business had been taken care of. The fact that he was a fugitive from the UF that was presently being sought out should have taken priority. It seemed like the last thing this group needed was to have 'harboring a fugitive,' tacked onto their list of things to worry about. "Well, I seeing as I JUST evaded capture by port security, port security that witnessed my falling into these woods, I would believe they'd still be looking. It's only been a few hours after all, they're dumb but persistent."
