I'm Cowgirl T E X, but y'all can just call me Tex.
I am a freshman in college, majoring in Studio Art and minoring in German language. After I get a B.A. in Studio Art I plan on heading to graduate school to get a degree in art design for video games.
I'm pretty much a geek in all senses of the word; I play video games, read comic books, have far too much fandom memorabilia than I should, and if I had money to spend and an anime/comic convention to go to I'd run out of money really pathetically fast. :V
I've been drawing for probably seven years, started out drawing really bad anime/manga, and have since progressed into a more realistic, painting-like style.
I joined mainly so I could help out other aspiring artists as much as I could and maybe get more critique on my own pieces (Deviantart's hugbox isn't really conducive to learning D,: ).

HI! I'm Nomster. I'm going to be a freshman in high school. I love drawing manga and reading shojo and other types of manga like Garren Lagann. I just finished watching Aquarion and it was amazing!! I dunno what I would do without netflix xD. So i'm up to any manga or anima suggestions!
My dream once i'm finished with high school is to go to Cal Arts in California. Once finished improving my art there i'd like to start my own manga series and live in Japan for a little while. But at the moment I believe my art to be mediocre and not up to it's full potential. I tend to get into art slumps, it's when what ever I draw doesn't seem up to my high standards. My limit so far is at the most two good drawings every few days. I've been taking avi and OC request's so I can practice more and hopefully get more decent drawing in before my slump hits me.
I'm also quite a little gamer. I like PSP games with good graphics, and am totally pumped for Kingdom Heart's Birth By Sleep!! I also play DS games but not as much as I used to. I will always love Pokemon though. No matter how old I get i'll always get the games, when i'm 75, knock on wood, and if they are still making the games i'll buy them and play them with arthritis stricken fingers!

Hey guys, I'm Wish-kun. I'm a sophomore in high school. I started drawing a while back probably more anime-ish around 3rd-4th grade. I got my first tablet when I was around 12. Ever since then, I've slowly started to improve as I learned more techniques and stuff. Although I enjoy art, I do not plan to major in it at this time. I do art as a hobby and a time-killer. I hope to continue art when I'm older and have less time. DeviantART

I've been "drawing" since I was two (but let's face it, back then that was just scribbling with crayons and claiming it was a kitty cat. xP) and I've been going on and off with consistently drawing.
In October I'm going to be a freshman in a 2 year college for Special FX makeup (think injuries and zombie and Freddy Kruger).
I do want to improve my art anyway I can, mostly finding a coloring style I'm happy with.

Hello everyone. My name is Pirate pandora, but you can call me Pan. I am currently taking a business course to learn more about entrepreneurship. Wow what a big word that is! xd
Anyway, I one day hope to own a bakery specializing in custom made cakes.
The reason I joined this guild was to expand my drawing skills, which will in turn, help with sketching cake designs. Although baking is my future, I have had a passion for drawing since I was abut ten years old. I am open to learning new techniques, as well as helping others learn.

I started drawing in 6th grade. Very, very horrible manga. I will never draw anime again, haha.
I'm a big believer in dreams. I keep a dream journal and everything. I'd like to further my drawing skills to start sketching accurate representations of my dreamscapes... because some of them can get pretty crazy, yo.
Other than that I've played piano for like everrrr and I've recently picked up a guitar.

Hi my name is j_nerdfighter, and I'm in highschool. I love to read and draw manga and watch anime! I joined this guild because I was looking for a community to critique my works and help me with proportions. biggrin
Anyway, I hope to go to Japan one day and maybe publish a manga. I am also a huge nerd, I read comics, play video games, and obsess over various things.
Wish I had a drawing to put up...but I don't have MY computer right now...eheh... sweatdrop
My drawing skills come from a few year practice, reading various instrutional books and tuts online, as well as developing my own style. I just recently got a tablet, so I am super excited to start drawing with that! 4laugh

Hello there, my name is shisuihime, but to avoid misspelling and frstration, call me shi/shisui/sushi. Anyhow, I am Senior year collage student of food technology, but my secret main passion is still art. Was considered an art prodigy by collage professors when I was really young, but due to lack of interaction with art community and education in art, my skills made lil progress compared to what kids who undergo a proper education make and I am a tad behind 'em right now. I did catch up with art a bit 3 years ago, due to developed analytic skill thanks to my collage major and gave me enough wit to work with textbooks and analyzing by myself. I still have a long way ahead, but I can draw pretty much all basics, from realism to stylized comics, with focus on later because it's fusion of my two favorite things: story telling and art. I still have issues with foreshoting, perspective and color theory. I joined because I wanna sharpen my anatomy knowledge with actual interacting with fellow artists(I like textbooks, but 2 pair of eyes always see better than just only one pair), expand feel of using colors (especially complementary ones) in my work and to enjoy quality art discussion beyond AD and PP. Hi! I'm Lindsay (midnightsurf). I really love drawing, and have really taken it more seriously lately since Shugo Chara inspired me. I have tons of questions about which direction I should go and what to study and improve. Other things I do: I'm a Christian, I sing, I study nursing, and I love sports. I've been drawing for a while, but not seriously. I started drawing when I was younger, but when I got older, it was to make pixels. Never really been successful because I don't have technical skills, but I think my composition and aesthetic sense are sound, my original ideas are good, and I have some sort of sense of how light falls and some areas I need to improve. However, I can't shade or color, and that really sticks out right now. Esp. since I want to do manga, and they get away with a lot of flatness. Heh. I'm happy for all comments, good and bad, I just want to improve because I love it so much. Thanks in advance for all your help. I hope I'll be of help to some of you as well. Ganbarimasu! Hello, my name is Cassandra or just Cassie. I am 21 years old, I am unemployed by choice because I rather be a strict full time student. I am working on associates degree in Graphic Design, I have doubts in it as a career because so far my teachers are absolutely full of it and has not taught me anything design wise. I lost a lot of my creativeness from high school, reason why I have little respect for teachers. I am now trying very hard to rediscover my talent and so far I am drowning myself in piles of crumpled papers.

Mmmm you all may call me Panic. I'm a sixteen year old trouble maker who is currently trying to work her way out of her comfort zone in drawing to do more poses and such other than just the typical characters sitting and standing. So far I'm trying to get all the basics down, which is rather difficult because I don't exactly have any cartoon teachers and I can't find any good tutorials online for the things I currently need to work on... Hobbies include doodling as my teachers scream at me to do my actual work, flunking Advanced art class because I'm doodling, and listening to screamo to piss off my sister. Current occupation is the cocky little brat with the beanie. I'll be posting up a thread with some drawings up tonight in the critique board.
