"Well it would have been nice but meh it's a bit late to swing the other way now" Alpha punched Itaka in the face and cast firaga at his shoulder. "Maybe you should have met Alex a little sooner. But if you get out of this alive the best place to find a challenge is in the south west"
"Your going to have to do a lot better than that Kimino. Such power would make you so powerful it would consume your soul and would lead to total destruction. you said it yourself" Hikari picked up her weapon and walked up to Kimino before she continued, "You have seen what it has done to me. Not even you are pure enough, otherwise that power i gave you would have had no effect"

Kimino laughed "Didn't you know?" he picked up his staff as light burst out from him blasting everyone away the light blast dissapated the light remained "This power is pure...I took the test I passed it" he walked slowly towards Hikari "You always knew that if you unlocked your potential you would become more powerful but theres one thing that only light masters know!" he indicated the others "All of them I gave a crystal too all developed to where they are now even the potential since it isn't a true power of light combined with your dark gift to make them more powerful BUT!" he whirled his staff around and slammed it into the ground "You never knew about true enlightenment thats what this is!" his light pulsed again "A force of pure good even more powerful than holy enhances the power of a warrior priest if he passes a test and the greater the test" he smiled the light flowing from him "The greater the rewards" he sheathed his staff "The True Enlightenment form is permanent and only the light masters at our group can do it" he smiled "BUT I daresay Itaka's dark gift is still to activate.
Itaka's corpses eye's snapped open his pupils gone
"I was afraid at first but now I see you at least did one thing right..."
Itaka got up again and turned to face Alpha his body just a thick mass of dark smoke with purple eyes "I ain't done yet old man" he laughed long and loud

Alpha slowly clapped his hands "purple eyes, well i'll give you points for origionality . Let me guess your gonna use something bigger now." Alpha's eyes began to turn a glowing red "Bring it on"
Hikari laughed "Too much darkness is a bad thing but too much good can also lead to the same results. I will let you enter on 2 conditions."
"Oh great, let me guess it's a test?" Seph groaned
"Thats correct. However i must also ask Alex to hand over that gem of his"

Itaka laughed "Oh you'll find the origninals are always the best" he rushed at Alpha and started pounding into him
Alex held his gem "What??? No way I could let you get your hands on it!!!"

Alpha took Itaka's pounding as it came. "Nice try" Alpha tackled him into the nearby wall.
Sepha also glared at Alex. Hikari sighed and turned her back to them "No gem then no door" She started to slowly walk away.
"Hand it over Alex" Seph ordered

Itaka smiled as the smoke faded around his fist that was crushing him against the wall reforming behind Alpha he slammed Alpha's head into the wall
Kimino grabbed the crystal and tossed it to Hikari "Help us now and I'll consider letting you go!" he said ignoring Alex's tantrum in the corner

Alpha was lying on the ground not moving after Itaka's attack.
Hikari walked over to part of the arena wall "The door is a fake. An illusion. You forget that this place isn't everything it seems. A bit like this wall. Also an illusion. Go through here to get to the real entrance" She put her hand through the wall

"Why do you need the gem then!" Alex demanded
Kimino folded his arms waiting for an explanation
Itaka stepped back from the still figure "Don't play games with me old man I know you stronger than that!" he held out his hand and blasted Alpha into a wall

Alpha remained lifeless thats it keep attacking. what goes around comes around
"Well put it this way Alex. I don't want you taking a small souvenir from here" Hikari smashed the gem in her hand "what are you waiting for. Both Alpha and Itaka are weakening but that isn't stopping them from blowing the place apart"
Seph looked at everyone "We need to go now. If we don't then we might not be able to get there at all"

Alex shuddered as the gem was smashed "N-No....I've failed!" he said falling to his knees as the dark energy was released from the gem he looked up "You have no idea what youve just done!" he said getting up
Oassu folded his arms "Seriously Alex it was just a gem can't your company make another one?"
Alex roared and pointed his pistol at Hikari "It's not that simple in fact now it's likely we're all doomed!"
The broken crystal pieces and the energy flew through the illusion wall and down the passage at high speed.
Itaka kept blasting at Alpha "Come on old man! Stop playing dead I know ya got more!" he frowned his blasts coming in rapid fire now

"Meh. All dark energy in this place goes that way." Hikari said bluntly.
Alpha laughed "Your right. I do have more," He slowly stood up "And you just gave it to me. I absorbed your attacks" Alpha's eyes began to glow more intensly sending blast after blast aimed at Itaka's stomac

Alex laughed hollowly "No no....much worse....you were trusted to guard that power in there but now whos gonna guard us from it y'see the orignal pieces of the crystal were parts of the great demon kings body and his life force so that the crystal could control all dark energies in the world! Those pieces are now headed down to the Abyss!"
Kimino began to sweat a horrible realisation coming to mind "You don't mean?!"
Alex nodded grimly "The pieces will regenerate with the energy there and....the Demon King will walk once more!"
Itaka folded his arms and reformed around the energy it passed through the smoke-Itaka harmlessly exploding on the wall behind him "You clearly don't get this I'm way out of your league!" he charged an energy shot "but I suppose it's just as well..your gonna need more energy to make this fight fun!" he said blasting the shot at Alpha

"Oh what fun" Seph responded sarcasticly "Well i beat him once before so i can do it again if it comes to that. Maybe we could destroy it before that happens" Something suddenly clicked in Seph's head "Looks like a lose- lose situation for Alpha. If we are successful he dies. If we fail the demon king will kill him."
"Yes but even if he co-operated with us he would still be untrustworthy" Hikari butted in.
"Thats not what i'm getting at. It will make Itaka's job a lot harder"
Alpha blocked the attack with a large shockwave "I would say the same but i'm not as arrogant as that. Besides, i'm probably going to die pretty soon anway so i may as well go out with a bang"

Alex sighed "Whether or not Itaka and Alpha survive is not our concern" he folded his arms "The Abyss ain't just all of the demon king's old energy it contains the energy of all the demons that fell in that war, if the Demon King absorbs all of that energy he's gonna come back more powerful than ever with new forms!"
Oassu was worried now "So you mean the war is goin to start all over again!"
Alex laughed dryily "War? He'll be so powerful he'll just open his hand and our civilisation will be gone!"
Itaka frowned as hard as it was with his smoke form "What do you mean?" he said stopping his attack for a second
