.the.[MAD].hatter. the Seventh sin .the.[MAD].hatter. the Seventh sin .the.[MAD].hatter. Ladon moaned as Taylor's lips crashed against his. Ladon Unbuttoned his own shirt and slipped it off his shoulder. He then started on Taylor's Jeans zipper. "I love you Taylor, I hope you know that." Ladon breathed against Taylors lips. His mouth travled up his cheek and to the tender spot behing Taylor's ear. He licked and nipped softly there. He finally managed to get taylor's zipper undone and slipped his hands underneath the stretch band of his boxers.
~ His lips parted in a gasp as Ladon's fingers curved around him and he rested his forehead against his boyfriends shoulder, biting his lip softly to keep from moaning. "I know, hun, I love you too," he whispered, his voice muffled against Ladon's shoulder as he placed soft kisses on his neck. "Never forget that." A soft shudder ran up his spine as Ladon's teeth scraped gently over his skin and he took a deep breath, ready for the bite ... ... but something felt wrong ... He lifted his head from Ladon's shoulder and by consequence away from his mouth. Taylor's eyes grew sharp as he scanned the room, his nostrils flarring as he took in another deep breath. The look on his face showed he was not happy with what he found. Looking back down to Ladon he tenderly brushed hair from his eyes. "Please, love, wait here a moment. I'll be right back," he said, his eyes apologetic. He sat up and buttoned his pants, jumping off the bed hurridly. But before he could make a step the door swung open to reveal a tall figure of a man leaning against the frame. Taylor snarled and stood protectively infront of Ladon, who still lay on the bed, his claws lengthening instantly. "You sick b*****d," he spat the words at the shadowy figure, who laughed softly and stepped forward arms outstretched. A deep voice asked him, "Is that anyway to greet your brother?" ~ Ladon sat up in surprise. His first thought was Sunny and then it quickley switched to Taylor and then lastly the stranger in his home. well, technically he wasn't really a stranger. It was Taylor's brother. Then enormity of this situation hit him. This was the brother like Taylor's father ... He knew how father's were. "Taylor, should I go get Dickens?" Ladon asked praying that Taylor would get his meaning. ~ It took Taylor a moment to process the words through the spite and instinct that was raging through him. He stepped back a few paces and held his hand back, his eyes never leaving his brothers, until he touched Ladon's leg. His grip tightened posessively and he nodded. "Please do," he said quietly to Ladon. He spoke again, his voice louder this time, and through clenched teeth. "Why don't you step into the living room, Aeden," he growled. "We can discuss the fact that you are not my brother, for I have disowned you." Aeden laughed softly and smiled. "Of course, little brother," he said mockingly, backing out the door and walking down the hall. Taylor turned to Ladon, his demeanor once again of love and care. "Please, go be with Sunny," he said softly, his nervousness showing in his voice now that he had his guard down. He caressed Ladon's cheek softly and gave him a quaky smile. "Stay in there with her, alright?" He fell silent for a moment, seeing Ladon's worry. "Don't worry, love," he whispered, "I won't let him hurt her or you." With that he kissed his forehead and stood up once more, squaring his shoulders, his ice cold blockade put back in place. He strode out the door and to the livingroom to face one of his worst fears. ~ Ladon nodded breifly before stepping out of the room. He walked quickley the few short feet to Sunny's room. He shut the door silently and padded softly too her tiny sleeping form. He grabbed a blanket and wrapped her in it as he stood up. He looked around for a place to hide with her when he felt her move. "Ladon, what's wrong? It's not daddy is it? He's not here, right?" She azsked as she quickley became alert. "No sweetheart. But we have some unexpected visitor's. We're going to stay in the closet for a while, okay hun? Just until Taylor comes to get us. And whatever you do, you can't make noise." Sunny nodded in understanding. Ladon opened to closet door and slid inside quietly. He slouched onto the harwood floor with sunny laying on his chest. "Ladon, I'm scared." Sunny whimpered softly. "I know luv, now let's be quiet." Ladon said as he gently placed his hand on sunny's small head. He listened intently to what was going on in the next room. ~ Tension crackled in the room, arching and sizzling between the two men who had not spoken in years. Silence hung there too for a few long moments, the only sound audible was the others shallow breathing. Aeden's laugh shattered the silence. "What are you doing in the house of a member of the covent? That didn't look like a kill attempt," he said casually. "Even your mother would be ashamed of the sins your commiting for even being here with a member of their brood, let alone a male member." Taylor growled, his lips pulled back in a visious display of teeth. "I could ask you the same thing, Aeden. He has the right to kill you for stepping foot in here without invitation." He raised a fist. "And don't you dare bring my Mother into this, she is fighting for the treaty. Its people like you and Father who wish to continue the bloodbath between our people. Your behavior makes us no better that animals." Taylor spat out the words, his eyes aflame with anger. "I swear to you now, if you lay a finger on him or any under my protection I will kill you. It is my buisness alone who I choose as my packmate," he said, his voice no more than a harsh whisper. Aeden looked him over, his eyes critical. "You've grown into your fur, Taylor. You can huff and growl and puff up your chest but you know as well as any that you are as weak as you Mother. One would think that the flesh and blood son of Althalus would have more of a backbone than that," he said, shrugging a shoulder. Taylor didn't give in to the obvious bating. Instead he flexed his claws and spoke again. "I swore to you. If I am one thing like my Father it is that I mean what I say." The older lycan's eyes shot up to meet his brothers, and seeing the resolve there he lost his non chalant demeanor. "You would say such a thing to your own brother?" he challenged. Taylor's eyes narrows, meeting his brothers gaze with a ruthless stare. "If one bit of harm comes to my pack while you are in our company, you will pay with your life. I told you, you are no longer my brother." Aeden spoke again, no nonsense in his voice now. "Well our mother is one in the same and she is why I am here," he said harshly, his head lowered as he fell silent. Taylor bit his lip and took a small step forward. "W-What happened? Is she alright?" His lips curved into a smile at Taylor's show of vulnerability and spoke. "She is dying. One akin to your 'packmate' attacked our holding not two days past and she was the only near fatality," he said, his voice not holding one bit of remorse. "She asked me to come fetch you so that she could see you one last time." He smiled mockingly at Taylor. "Isn't that sweet?" Taylor didn't see his mocking smile, he didn't hear the harsh bite in his voice, or Ladon's soft gasp from the next room. The only sound to reach his ears was the heavy beating of his heart. Another sound wove its way out of his memories, coiling around his head like a childhood lullaby. I love you, Taylor ... his mothers voice from a time to long ago. From another life ... "Where is she?" he demanded. "I wish to go to her ..." ~

Ladon sat there holding Sunny. His head went through the long list of kin that he had. Who would want to hurt a Lycan? Then he paused. Most of his father's side of the family would be more than willing. His father most of all. Garnet and Raven were to stuoid todo something on their own ... besides Ladon had convinced them to consider the treaty. So unless they decided for themselves, knowing them that was unlikley, they were out. It could have been Colden ... but he was away on business. Ladon kept going through his "Cousin's" and no one would be a match. "Ladon, can we move now?" Sunny whispered. "No luv, not until Taylor comes ..." "What if he doesn't?" Sunny asked. "He will." Ladon replied with a weak smile.

He gently set Sunny down and silently left the closet. "Ladon! Wait! Don't go out there!" Sunny whispered after him. "I'll be back luv." Ladon promised as he slipped out of the room. Sunny closed the closet door again. Ladon walked down the hall almost silently. The only sound that was made was the soft ruffle that his jeans made. He was surprised to see Taylor standing alone in the living room. Ladon rushed to him and wrapped his arms around Taylor's waiste.

.the.[MAD].hatter. the Seventh sin .the.[MAD].hatter. the Seventh sin .the.[MAD].hatter. Ladon nodded breifly before stepping out of the room.
~ "She's at home, waiting for you to show up so she can die," he said, trying to play on Taylor's emotions, trying to break him down. "You should hurry, Taylor. She won't last to much longer." Taylor stared at Aeden without seeing him, his mind lost in memories of his youth. He remembered her, the woman who had given him a new life. She only wanted the best for him yet he never had the chance to thank her. "Tell me where she is, damn it," he said, his eyes focusing again on the here and now. Aeden only smiled. "You will find her if you follow your nose," he said, tweaking his nose. "Just come back to the hunting grounds and you'll know where she is." With a smirk and a lazy bow he laughed. "And with that I take my leave, little brother." Just as surely as he was there a moment before he was gone the next and Taylor stood alone in the living room, accompanied by a new heartache and raw memories. ~ Ladon could sense Taylor's greif. The impact of his body and Ladon's arms around his waist brought him back to reality. As he came out of his daze he held Ladon close and buried his head in the younger boys hair. "Are you alright," he whispered, his voice muffled against Ladon's head. "Is Sunny okay?" ~
