PirateEire For the record, while it's pretty to look at, I don't care much for nature at all... I like my computer. *hugs computer* A Kemetic I know (who moonlights as an amateur writer) showed me part of a story he was working on once in which a couple of pagans were discussing the nature-y side generally implied when thinking of alternative religions, and the computers and machine that one of the two worked his magic with. "A computer is made of sillicones (I believe the stuff was called) and runs on electricity, doesn't it? What's more natural than rocks and lightning?" wink

I love that maypole joke xD I always use it around mayday! I think I even posted it in this thread a while ago xd
As for nature, I appreciate it's beauty and what we can get from it, and I do my little bit for the environment, but thats about it.
I'm more likely to be concerned about saving trees and farmland in the local area as opposed to a global scale, and global warming is way down my list of priorities. Considering that thousands still die in the streets of a developed country like this, and thousands die from AIDS in africa each year. Human life is more important than nature to me. I'm damn lucky to have electricity and a computer. In additon, what do you class nature as? I class it as everything that is, well, natural to the universe. Thats people too ^_^

I keep hoping that one day I'll wake up and people will understand that Wicca isn't older than Christendom.

We have a saying in my family. "Being a G~ is only fun until you run out of clean underwear." Wow... It's a knock at the Trustifarian-G~ Hippies where I live. No matter how many books I show them, they insist that the Rroma is not an ethnicity, but a lifestyle. And they are really G~ and they can prove it because they have the flowing skirts and eat organic and I'm a bad person for oppressing them. As someone who has lived in the kinds of conditions that some Rroma are forced to live in in Europe- it isn't a good time. I like my showers and my washing machine, and my heating and bed and the like. If the Trustifarians had to actually live without money for pot and the like, they would not be happy.
