Oryn Blackened Heart Sucubi ... -.- and you say i troll... i didnt say that... all i said was synapse wont matter since carnifexs are fearless and dont need to worry about it. This debate has been through the works. Fearless does not prevent Instinctive Behavior. Fearless prevents Morale checks, Falling Back, and Pinning. Instinctive Behavior is a Leadership test, so it is not auto-passed by Fearless. IB forces you to fall back, but Fearless prevents that so you don't have to. But in order to move normally, you need to make and succeed at the IB check. So if you fail your IB check, you're stuck not moving. Granted, you have ld10, but you are not immune. now i dont know about your store but at our store we still use FAQ's as legal gaming rules provided they still apply. In the Nid FAQ Fearless negates IB test so they dont worry about it.

Why is this a point of Contention? I've never once played anyone that disagreed with the opinion that Carnifexes didn't need synapse.

Try reading it again: http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1180140_Tyranids_FAQ_2006-08_5th_Edition.pdf It's the second point of errata, Instinctive Behavior does not affect fearless models.

Nid FAQ Page 28 – Instinctive Behaviour, second paragraph. The first sentence should be changed as follows: If all models in a Tyranid brood begin their Movement phase more than 12" away from a Synapse Creature, and that unit is not Fearless, falling back or already in combat, it will revert to Instinctive Behaviour.

I read the Nid FAQ immediately before making that post. That I missed that just shows I should stop trying to multi-task as obviously trying to read rules and process a conversation with my significant other simultaneously is beyond me. Apologies, and I'm personally GLAD that has been eratta'd. The 'Paralyzed with Fearlessness' hole in the rules actually rather irritated me.

Plastic Trigon is confirmed along with plastic Gargoyles. Gaunts, Warriors and Tyrant remain the same and will not receive redone sprues or new boxed sets.

GD Italy, we had several people who attended it post this on Dakka. I'm sure BoLS has stolen it and posted it as their own scoop by now.

Judging from the large spines I'd say that critter is the new proposed toxic monster. Something of a smaller version of the Malathrope (sp?) maybe.
