Thank you so very much for clarification. See, the thing is, is I wonder now if they are going to sell storm guardians at all.
Because I did not see them on the site, and though I am sure they have plans for a future release of upgraded guardians with plastic CC weapons for storm squad, for the moment.. I am not sure it will be easy to acquire any. D:

I wanted to get a sqaud of 20. I have 8.

have you checked Classics and Collectors?

Actually no. -runs off to check- sweatdrop

I was going to suggest you go to www.bwbits.com and order the CCW's, and just use standard Guardians, but BWbits doesn't have any. sweatdrop

They are more pricey, but you can order CC weapon and Shuriken pistol arms from GW.
You only get 2 CC arms and Shuriken pistol arms for like...4 dollars, but meh. It is the only source so far.

I imagine (HOPE)
That evnetually they will throw an extra sprue in guardian boxes with plastic swords and shuriken pistols.

Side Note: If anyone saw. I got the new eldar codex. -mini spasm-

Has anyone noticed how much more DEADLY runes of warding got?

Old Codex: Enemy Psycher within 6" must roll 3D6 and discard the lowest roll.

New Codex: All Enemy Psycher's must roll 3D6. On a roll of 12 or higher, they suffer a perils of the warp attack.

Query: Does anyone else not like how the Starcannon looks?

Also, Does anyone have any experience with putting magnets into models? (Mine will be 3/16" diameter)

No experience, but I read an article on it that made it pretty clear.

Yea starcannon looks rather blah.

I had a cool thought that came to me in a dream last night about the prism cannon, for who knows what reason.

Make a center turret mount prism cannon that is centered and the firing beam enters in through the top or bottom.

Would you happen to know where I could find that article? It would be awesome if you could.

I don't really understand your Fire Prism vision. You must draw schematics!

I think he means, take the crystal and put it into the center of the turret, and have the little thing off to the side come from above the crystal, as opposed to the other side of the turret.

Corret me if I'm wrong, Andreis.

Relatively right.

EDIT: It is a prism cannon with the feed laser mounted on the body of the crystal arm/power source that can be mounted without utilizing 2 arms.

Wow I just drew a really bogus fire prism. 4 feed lasers positioned at a few inches from points around the crystal. It looks like an odd mixture of technology. Not very eldar.

EDIT 2:

I was toying with VDR ideas and just had the most superb idea yet.
Gatling Prism cannon! Represented by 4 feed lasers aimed at the crystal! biggrin

I officially am going to recommend Battlewagon bits to anyon for buying. Period.
It is cheaper than going to the store so long as your order is not just like.. 1 little model.
Even with shipping, after an order that would usually be 175 dollars, it was 123.
No I did not ACTUALLY order anything.

go second, and drop them in last turn on some objective... seriously, swooping hawks weapons would bounce off T4 power armored guys, and you dont want to be in hth with BT, even with exarch/power weapon

there strength 3 guns would only kill a couple. i was looking for fire diversions . grenade packing, clean up for some squads, or haywire busting. like most eldar just a small part to get that extra edge in there. i dont solely rely on them as a huge help.small part of a big idea. im trying to make a decent tactical list if i could have your opinion.
HQ
farseer, spirit stones,guide,fortune
Autarch,swooping hawk wings,fusion gun,scorpion chainsword,mandiblasters,"help with reserve rolls"
Troop

Hm. Well. I have been told that one would be better of taking an extra heavy weapon rather than a wraithsword, however, WS4 may be one notch higher than normal, but it is still only WS4. It could definitely live without the re-rolling of CC hits if it was WS5, but it is questionable otherwise.

And I understand your liking to swooping hawks, they are cool, but you could also take warp spiders mind you.
S6 weapons and 3+ armour saves. If you take a fully decked squad of 10, you could allocate up to 22 shots or 18 shots with 1 S6 Ap1 shot.
I dunno.
Warp spiders are only slightly slower than swooping hawks, and on the ground, can be, in fact, faster, they just can't leave the battlefield on a whim.

12" Movement (jump infantry)
22 S6 Shots
2-12" Movement

Of course there is the risk of loosing that one man to doubles.

Actually wait.
No, nothing about magnets into models. D:
You mean for like.. interchangable heavy weapons etc?

I saw this article at one point on magnetic display bases, and actually I would probably buy magnets from the site they mention for the thing above.

What if you tried just Sky Leaping and using their grenade packs repeatedly? I imagine that would cause some harm and the hawks wouldn't get too shot up.

Yeah, Exactly. I wanted to have interchangable heavy weapons on my models so I could be "WYSIWYG."

Yeah, I saw that article on GW. I ordered something like 250 magnets so I will try that magnetic base carrying case as well the interchangable weapons. I was just wondering the best the way to place the magnets on the weapons and models. A drill would probably be best?
