I've now seen up through 18. I haven't really been thinking the ending would be very cheerful (in the first volume of manga, the author says one of the themes he wanted for the story was limited time, which tends to lead me to believe it won't end happy-like...) But it's pretty cool, still. Love the story, even if I quiver in terror from the inevitable crushing despair at the end.

It's a great series sybrid. I encourage you to finish it domokun
I liked the whole contract part between Rosette and Chrno. I haven't seen that concept in awhile, and usually, the situation is more uplifting, but in this case, I liked the sad parts of the story.

Or is that like one of Satan's Lieutenants. So... seen the whole series, then, Langley? Meh, it's not much of a spoiler, really. The series doesn't come off as sad, but after a few episodes, you can probably tell it's going to be that way from there on out, with a few breaks in between.

Although if you didn't think Rosette was going to have some sort of signifance to the whole Apostle scheme, you clearly haven't seen enough of the anime to understand anything being said, anyways.

And yes, I saw the whole thing... I saw it... I did... But NOW I cant hear the bloody theme songs without sulking and cursing... and trying to blame various objects for making me angry.

I used to be paranoid about them, but now I generally don't care as long as it's not a major plot twist that would've taken me by surprise.
