It's nice to meet everyone! mrgreen Y'all are so nice. I'm really excited about joining this guild; I finally have people to talk about "Slayers" with. I'm still working on collecting all the novels (I lack 2 and 5) and manga (I only have 3 volumes of it), and just found an affordable set of the anime on ebay today and ordered it (can't wait for it to arrive!), I also found "Slayers Premium" at a store once and bought it and rented "Slayers the Motion Picture". "Slayers" stuff seems hard to find.

As to why there seem to be so many Mazoku: maybe it's because evil is fun? Especially when it involves firecrackers... xd

So sorry I'm late in welcoming you, but I was busy preparing to train the next generation of chaos. I trust you understand. I'm Iron Anne Kidd, your friendly neighborhood mazoku priestess. Since everyone else who has authority on our side is currently AWOL, I'm in charge by default. Unless I missed an appearance by Reno or Boss Zetsubo, of course...

Hi Anne! Nice to meet you! mrgreen
I'm so excited right now! I just graduated high school yesterday! Graduation went well, then me, my younger brother, my mom, my mom's boyfriend, my grandparents, and two of our friends from Church went out to eat at a Japanese restaurant. I'd suggested it months ago and not everyone was too excited about going (my grandparents were under the impresion that all Japanese food is raw like sushi), but after we ate there everyone thanked me for suggesting it redface . It was so cool! It was one of those places where they come out to your table and cook your meal in front of you and do all kinds of cool tricks with the utensils. The coolest thing the chef did was when he was making our salad: he had a slice from the center of the onion and pulled the rings of it apart, he then stacked them on top of each other, poured cooking oil down into it, and set it on fire! The onions didn't burn, but it spewed fire, kinda' like an onion volcano. It was so cool! mrgreen
Also yesterday, I finally found an afordable "Slayers" DVD set on ebay! mrgreen It comes with all three seasons! YAY!!! So far, the only "Slayers" anime I've seen, is "Slayers the Motion Picture" (rented) and "Slayers Premium" (bought).

It wasn't too long ago that I was at my own high school graduation back in '04. Afterwards, my family, friends, & I ate at a place called "The Village Inn". We liked it so much that my sister decided that's where she wanted to eat after her graduation in '05.
You're in for a real treat when you get those "Slayers" DVDs. They're very fun to marathon with friends. 3nodding
Oh yes, I forgot to mention before; feel free to drop by the Astral Plane. It's where we mazoku reside & it could use some livening up. I've already put your name on the entrance list.

Unfortunately, I don't have very many anime loving friends...just my little brother. Well, there is this one guy at school, but he's not interested in anime or manga that doesn't involve some sort of perversion. He's kinda' gross. I'll have to check out the Astral Plane, it sounds like fun! 3nodding Thanks for adding me too! mrgreen

Yes, it's still school, so it can suck sometimes, but the freedom & new friends make it all worthwhile.
Most of my friends from high school don't dig anime that much. The ones who like it do because I got them into it. But since college has people from all walks of life, you're more likely to find an anime fan, I think. My college has an anime club & a sword club. In fact, I'd recommend checking out my college if you're still looking. Or look anyway to see what kind of a place I spend most of my time at. Anne's College
