Lee felt his own breath get heavy but barked in response anyway. The voice tremmers reached his paw and he felt the pain again. He kept it hidden and sped up more, closing the gap on th tree and him. His was barley ahead getting ever so close to the tree and the pain just grew and grew with each passing moment as he ran.

Yuki saw the tree growing ever closer and sped up even more, trying as hard as she could to inch past him, even just a little bit to take the lead and the win. She was unaware that he was hurt, since he'd shown her it was healed just before, so she just kept moving forward, trying to keep control of her breathing as well, attempting to hold it steady.

Lee kept his speed up seeing her catching right beside him. His paw was weakenning him now, he was going to lose speed quickly if he didnt hurry and quicken it. The tree was right there, coming so fast to him but his vision dropped, his paw went under and he fell forward, scratching across the shore, dirt and dust flying. Lee had collapsed from the pain and was now on the ground, finally stopped rolling before the tree.

Yuki's eyes widened when she saw him fall again, and she skidded to a halt, nearly falling herself. She blinked a few times, staring at him in alarm. The tree was right there but... She ran to Lee instead, standing over him as she breathed somewhat heavily. Her eyes instantly went to his paw, the one that'd been frozen, and she licked it gently before even realizing she was, letting out a small whimper.

Lee shook his head and stood laughing lightly, he was one to laugh when he was hurt. "Im fine," he said barkingly trying to stand on all four and the last one barely touching, "so I guess you won," he added with a small laughing bark and taking his attention from his paw. Lee looked into her eyes and tried to show her he was fine through his but all that was there was his look of wincing and a half smlie.

Yuki stared back, but her ears were dropping again as she did. She sighed and looked guiltily at the ground. "Can I heal it, please?" she asked, barks fainter than normal. "Someone taught me how." He said he was fine, and he kept laughing, but he certainly didn't look ok... She hadn't meant to actually hurt him before. She'd only been playing...

Lee shook his head an barked back laughing abit more, "I'm fine re.." he whimpered from it now, "okay okay just dont look at me like that," he said laughing again but lowly in a bark. Lee extended his hurt pay out to Yuki and waited to see how she was going to heal it casue he only knew a wolf's tongue heals it quick.

Yuki smiled weakly and then sat down, closing her eyes. A moment later she was back in her regular form, though the fox ears and tail remained. She reached into a pouch on her belt and pulled out a small plant. It froze in her hand and she careflly took his paw in her other, holding it still. She shook the plant slightly, watching as very tiny bits of the frozen leaves fell off, dropping to his leg and sinking in. It should take away the pain first, and then slowly heal the actual injury as well. After a moment she crumbled the remainder of the plant in her hand, and sprinkled that bit on as well. "...th-there.." she said quietly, gently releasing his paw.

Lee felt the pain ease away from his paw and then all together it healed quickly after. He shook it and looked at it, it was fine now, all better. A smile grew wider on his face and he became himself now, his hand slightly red from his paw thawing. "Thank you," he said whipping it abit before placing it down on the ground. "I guess I should be more careful huh," he asked retorically as he lauhed to himself.

Yuki scooted slightly away when he changed back, but smiled at him in relief. "W-well it was my f-fault.." she admitted quietly. "S-sorry..." She snapped the pouch back shut, staring at it for a moment, before looking back up at him. "And," she added, her voice quiet once again. "I d-don't think I can s-say that I won e-either." She winced after saying that, hearing Yukiko's loud protest echoing in her head.

Lee knew Yukiko was hounding her even as she finished speaking. He smiled to himself and looked at the moon, "well It was fun while it lasted, Im glad we got to do that," he said shaking his hand to see if the pain would return then stopped gladly when it didnt. "And you healed it quite well I believe," he said looking back to Yuki.

Yuki smiled, nodding her head. "Th-thank you," she said quietly. "I had s-some practice.." She remembered the person who had taught it to her had actually cut their own arm open for her to practice healing it. She still felt bad about that. She glanced to the ground and then back to Lee, just sitting on her knees silently, the three tails swirling around her again.

Lee smiled noting that she was too, he noticed her tails were still there as well. "Those are always there just about arent they," he said talking about her tails, "they are the cutest tails I have ever seen," he said smiling and laughing a little now. Lee felt it was only right to comment her now that she had healed him and to change the subject, but what he said only the truth as he saw it.

Yuki glanced down, placing her hand lightly upon one of the three. She laughed quietly, nodding her head. "Y-yeah, I guess so..." They usually weren't out this much though. She blinked, head jerking up to face him when she heard his comment. Her cheeks flushed red and she looked down again after a moment. "Ah, th-thank you," she said, voice near a whisper.

Lee laughed lowly to himself, it was always cute when she blushed, "so now that that fun is over, where to or what to do," he asked kind of laughingly cause it rhymed. He thought of commenting that but left it be for fear of sound dumber. "I for one could careless where we go or what we are to do," he said with another smile as he watched her for a response.
