Designated Hero I can honestly say that I never thought 'eaten by plant' would be a threat present in this event.

And what's with Opaj being here. The main reason I did this because I was told both Opaj and Rage wouldn't be here.
If Opaj is here you probbaly have enough people to end this encounter quickly on your own.

opaj And I don't like to complain enough. I'm not levelling a charge, just moaning and complaining. I'm not going to do anything to try and wriggle out of the situation my character's in. It's too big a hassle to do anything about at this point, so I'll just roll with the punches (cursing whole-heartedly along the way). I can't help but think that you and N_I have brought anti-n00b artillery to a fair fight. sweatdrop It's actually ironic that you should say that. I was told that my armor is unfair. On a related note, I had to go with general riotgear because my mortar would clear opponents out pretty quick, unless you have some innate immunity to shrapnel. Then there's the double barreled 20mm gauss cannon that can put a slug through a tank and has a particularly high rate of fire.

Psychofish To all people at the boarwalk right now- There has been an issue called on the post of X, namely Hoozy's not happy that he ignored me countering his active use of magical energy. I propose we continue now instead of waiting for him to edit because he is now, and Mew has gone, offline. Mew for quite a while, and he's the only one affected by the post if I am skimming it right. Agreed? Erm, as I saw your counter, it stopped any active magic.
All Laz was doing was aiming.
It's like saying "This move effectively destroys all bullets flying through the air."
And then complaining because the guy with the sniper rifle shot -after- you did that.
As I know the Glare move to work, the aiming uses no magic, it just helps him focus since it's a precise action. The actually magic occurs when the ice crystals instantly form then explode. As it is, since Mew is gone, all Wulf was doing was saving his character from being shot, since the little blowuptance would affect Mew's aim.
We good?
Edit: Do any more of you jeep guys have to post before it's my turn again?

It seems like this is the sort of stuff you'd level at the Sephiroths and the Vegetas because they naturally go into a state of overpower. Doesn't Gammu pack a gauss cannon? I appreciate his not sending it through opaj, by the way. sweatdrop I know that earlier you said you designed these guys to be anti-physical, and anti-tech, but is it really balanced to accomplish that goal by becoming the best (or near the best) in either of those arenas? I've seen you guys for the most part shrug off any magical or metaphysical attack sent your way, so I'm not seeing a character designed to take on a certain type of enemy, but a character who's just been really twinked. Alternatively, perhaps me and mine simply brought underpowered characters to this event. I doubt that we all made that mistake, but it could happen. sweatdrop

...Yeah Fenrir - stick to the riot gear. Bringing in mortars would be a step in the wrong direction.
That direction being the complete destruction of Gaia.
Since we are RP'ing in a general Gaia sense. Which makes it intereasting - since all of this happens in Mainstream...
...Nevermind - I'm thinking about something stupid.

Yeah, it's cool, but I need to be more specific in the future.
The general idea is when Nascen is fighting with only the KoF they use no magic so he would immediatly counter any he feels, but I need to add that in.
It gets more complex and needs specifications I think if I have allies who are using it on the scene.

Opaj, no one has fought Gammu purely with magic. The only thing he's had done to him with magic is someone use it to move something physical. I could pick up dirt and throw it at you, I could take even more as Greg did and fling it at you with a catapult. In the end the result was the same thing. Moving air, which I could produce with a fan of enough power, or a large ball of dirt, which I could lauch with a catapult. Truly no one has done pure magic against my character.
Also Opaj, I do recognize how insanely powerful are weapons are, that's why I let things go as they do because it be pointless to argue about. That and it serves my purpose.
Now if someone was to truly assault me with magic then things may go entirely different, or if they want to go physical then it will have to be someone really strong who is a proven fighter. Vahn and Shou come to mind as canidates for that.

Well, I've been hit by a ball of yarn. I pity any one that is overtaken by such. I also took nonmagical means to avoid the intended damage; moving so the bolos wouldn't bind him, then simply cutting through the yarn. Then there is that heat attack thing that Rage did, which Gamma tried to roll away and flashbang out of it. I assume it worked, because flashbangs are very good at breaking concentration. If I may say so, which I will regardless, people always go at it wrong. Firstly they typically don't know how armor in general works and miss the general weakness that comes which each kind. There's also the fact that people fight Gamma's armor instead of Gamma. There is a human in there, a very unstable human, but he is there. The suit is just armor his defense is shooting/dodging/smacking people around.
