Then she reached for another rune piece.
These two fit together! Nothing broke.
In her hands she held one completed vial. Which she put safely away in her pocket. There was no way she was going to break that thing. Hopefully.

"Starting to feel like ya got all the tops but no bottoms, right?" Abbi asked when she noticed Sherry nearby. Carefully she shuffled over to the woman and offered her a piece that didn't fit the one she was trying to get right. "Or like... All the USB's and no ports?" Anti-Virus: 1/3

"Yes," Sherry said, smiling at Abbi. "That's immensely what it feels like." She took the offered piece. Might be good to mix things up a bit. "Just...gotta get lucky. Or something." 1/3

"Or something." She echoed in a mildly disdainful mumble, a hand skittering over the pieces unsuccessfully. "I'm guessing, since you're here trying to find anti-viruses and all, that you got out of this whole... Crazy mess... Relatively ok?" It was half an attempt at conversation and half a veiled question of whether Sherry was alright or not. Anti-Virus: 1/3

Putting her scarf aside, she instinctively shifted her arms to help Zascha sit up, her gaze dropping to his side again to ensure that the other trainee wasn't in any risk of bleeding out on them all before she pulled her arms back to rest both her hands in her lap. "Nellie didn't do anything. Nellie..." Oh yes she had done something. She had done enough damage as it was, getting herself separated from the pair and then getting Zascha pretty banged up via her own hands although it was so that the Life techs could come in and administer the vaccine to help arrest the infection he was afflicted with. But she couldn't help wondering in retrospect now if she could have achieved the same outcome without going all out the way she had back then. What if she had accidentally killed him as a result of that?
"Nellie's sorry for not sticking with both Zascha and Harlow back during the blackout! It's Nellie's fault partly that both Harlow and Zascha are now hurt! S-Sorry... so sorry..." She suddenly burst out, guilt written all over her face now as she quickly lowered her head and began to apologize profusely to the other two trainees whom she was supposed to be teamed up with. They weren't going to want to have anything more to do with her after this - she was so sure of that now even after she had tried her best to try to get along and play her part as a part of the team. Lifting her hands to rub at her eyes and nose, she sniffled softly as she tried to fill the both of them in on what had happened in the interim. "Nellie don't know about Harlow but Zascha was infected and became one of them. Zascha should be fine now though since the techs came by to give Zascha a shot to fight the infection." A brief pause for air and then she continued. "... think everyone's supposed to get those still infected to the decontamination room or help make more vaccines."

Sherry forced a tiny laugh and a shrug. It was funny, how much of their runic science was hit or miss. At least...unless you really knew what you were doing. Sherry didn't. She should work on that. "Yeah. I... got a little banged up, but nothing bad. Nothing more serious than a bruise." A sprained ankle wasn't a big deal, right? Nah. "Stormy and I took down a mob of infected just fine though." As she spoke she reached for another rune, one to match what she'd been handed. The rune she grabbed didn't work. Another thing broken in her hands. "You? Not um, bitten or anything?" 1/3

And then since Finn clearly didn't care anymore, he went to give this antivirus crafting business a shot.
Get it. Shot?
He stood around with the others and picked up one of the pieces in a very blood stained hand.

A second piece was picked, and he tried to fit it together with the first, while attempting to remain focus and most definitely not look over his shoulder to where he'd left a certain someone lying on the ground.
The pieces clicked together easily, like he knew exactly what he was doing or something (he really didn't).

The laugh and the shrug and the general sense that Sherry was pretty much done with the situation didn't make Abbi feel any better, but she wasn't going to mention anything about it. Instead she scrabbled for more pieces with a very large frown. "You all ok? I've got some bandages... In my backpack--" And stuffed into her skirt pockets, honestly, "--so if ya need something, lemme know ok? I've got bandaids too!" A more sheepish look took over her face as Abbi fell in on herself a little. Wow, everyone had been busy while she'd had been dazed about whether she'd really heard Nora calling for her in some pit or not. "Nah, no bites... I uh... Guess I hid too well." AKA hadn't contributed at all. Anti-Virus: 1/3

Maebe had been administered the anti-virus quite a while back. She'd been left where they'd finished injecting her, and only Jude remained by her side while chaos continued to reign. But she hadn't woken up, and she probably should have. (This was because she didn't want to.) She finally opened her eyes, and groaned in annoyance. "Is it over yet?" She heard a faint female zombie groan. "Apparently not."

"I'll let you know," Sherry shifted her weight again, reaching for another rune. "But I think I'll be fine. Just...need a few minutes to put my feet up and relax." She spared a quick glance for the rest of the room. There were still a few infected about, but Sherry didn't feel like chasing anyone down with her ankle. Runic vials were much more her speed. Then her gaze went to Abbi. "That's good. We can't have everyone falling into pits the moment things go to hell. Wouldn't do for everyone to die all at once." Then she smiled. "I am glad you're okay." 1/3

/o/ MILO HAS THE PARANOIA VIRUS /o/
"No! NO!" Milo yelled when he felt the weight of the Robert-turned-Kamen-Rider-baddie lift off of him, when he saw that large lion like head turn and ignore him. Even though now he wasn't being attacked nor bitten. Now he was being denied answers. How was he supposed to save them, to protect all of them if he didn't know where they even were? Or what had happened to them. The room was filled with monsters and he needed to be rid of them... as soon as one of them told him their master plan.
"WHERE IS SHE?" Thankfully not in a Batman impression sort of way, but still grizzled and deep and angry.
< BAKAYARO! Snap out of it! >
But Koume went ignored but he could feel the soft vibration of the runes of his weapon, and he took that as the charge had been completed. Wind softly picked up around him as he hefted it up and then swept the large blade across the air, sending the razor feathers towards Robert. "Tenkasei Inazuma Enjoha!"
Quote: attacking: Robert damage: 19 hp: 17/50 charge: 3/3 - used Quote: He can't recognize friend from foe, and everyone to him looks terrifying. There is no hunger however, just paranoia, an extreme case of it. He has half his HP and can attack as per usual. If he does more than 10 damage in a single turn, anyone surrounding him also contracts that paranoia (can't tell friend from foe/ everyone looks like a terrifying enemy), at half health. If anyone with the virus reaches 0 HP, they can be KO'ed to be treated the same way. Anyone who contracts the virus also spreads it by dealing more than 10 damage in a single turn. Anyone with this strain of virus should post that they have the paranoia virus in bold goldenrod + in ooc below list its effects! This virus cannot overlap with the existing one.

Jude had pretty much stayed put soon after knocking her out and even after she'd gotten taken care of. He didn't really feel a need to run off because the quota of one person he'd allowed himself to watch over and take responsibility for was ... Currently taking a dirt nap until just now.
"It is never over," he affirmed for her and offered her a hand. "Not fair you got to take a nap."
Then there was also quieter tone of him apologizing, "Sorry, I didn't mean to hit you. You were trying to eat me."

A nod preceded any words the teen had to say, redoubled in efforts so that she ended up nodding for a good half a minute before she spoke. "If ya need a hand, or like... You wanna sit down and I'll hand you runes just um... Just lemme know!" To make good on the offer, the teen pushed a rune that hadn't worked for her in Sherry's direction, just in case it matched for her. Abbi's eyes went down to the task at hand so she didn't catch Sherry's gaze, or her smile, or anything else directed toward her. "Yeah that's true..." The last thing Sherry said caught at her heart and Abbi turned large eyes up at the woman. "Y-you are?" Well duh, her weapon was quick to whisper. Sherry would be glad everyone was ok! "I'm glad you're... Mostly ok too!" But it was still nice to pretend she specifically meant just Abbi... "It would be like... The absolute worst if you got hurt! You're super level headed and pretty and like... Bad news bears if you were out for the count."Anti-Virus: 1/3
