Every time she saw red, every time she felt a little too eager to stab the figure, Lyzzi reined herself in. Trying to control her thoughts and her actions. However, that frustrated her, and she decided to let herself go.

Feeling hands on her ankles, Lyzzi found herself falling, being pulled in two different directions. There was no choice but for her to bear with it till they let go.

As Lyzzi stepped from one platform to the next, something grabbed her, throwing her off balance. She waved her arms by her side, and just as she was about to regain balance, the platform beneath her feet gave way, sending her dropping down.
She knew what came next though, and waited till her descend slowed before finally stopping instead of wasting her energy with flailing. Once her feet were on solid ground again, she relaxed, walking over to one of the glowing orbs to receive her blessing.

Liom got the hell out of the Forge when he woke up, his time in the place done. So, he headed to another section of the Spire he had yet to explore. It seemed to be of the broken spires, confusing when trying to look at properly but he stopped trying to figure out once he saw the remains of the path.
It seemed to be going down. And so down he went. Seemed to be easy enough, caution to the wind on this one; these platforms were nice and stable, enough for him to just go at a leisurely pace pretty much. It was tempting to run it. Maybe he should have, as futile as it would have been anyways, to avoid being hit by the fog. He was on his knees, his mind abuzz, swirling with strange images and flashes.
They filled the skies. She tightened her grip on her weapon and felt a great and terrible resolve rise in her soul. She would die here, she knew, and yet she felt no fear. She would die protecting her people. She would die, but she would take many of them with her into the abyss. She was steel, forged and pure.
Liom held his head, fingers digging into the temples as if trying to sway a headache. He didn't understand any of what he had just seen, knew nothing of this woman who was so determined as she stood, watching the skies with her weapon at the ready. Honestly, he had to admire her in her resolve. If he would stand and do something similar, he didn't know, he hoped he would or at least fight until the bitter end.

Liom felt himself stumbling, as if in an intoxicated state, his mind moving possible on pure impulse alone. His emotions felt out of whack, and as he turned to look at the surrounding fog... it looked like it all had faces. Leering at him, staring at him, judging him? Had they always been there?
His eyes remained on them even as he kept moving, trying to make them out and what they could possibly be besides shadows in the fog. The boy finally found himself at the larger platform, perhaps a new phase of this place. His foot touched, barely an instant later the figures were on him as if summoned by his presence and alerted by the red lights that filled the area.
Aa, perhaps that's what those faces were.
Or once were, swirling together, transforming into something a little more sinister. Or familiar even. Liom had to wonder if this was the person he had seen, brandishing her weapon and not allowing others to get through her path.
Well, he needed to. He pulled out his own knives and attacked.

Steel, she had thought she was, to stand her ground and protect what she felt important. Liom didn't know what he was, he hadn't quite figured it out as he continued to swing his blades upon the figure wrapped in fog. It could be something to aspire to really, he wouldn't mind it one bit. Only for certain, he knew he had to get past this thing to figure it out.

He was going to push through this, even if he needed to take cheap little pot shots at the figure. This was his resolve.

"Let me pass," Liom hissed, bringing both of the blades to the head of the creature, in a fluid motion he swung both of them in unison across the neck. Only a thin line of foggy wisp seemed to be evident of where he cut, until it simply dissolved into nothing. Leaving him alone and to continue on.

The faces vanished just as the last of the fog wisp dissipated. He could keep going, just on the other side of this large platform, he almost wanted to run but he kept at his pace just in case.
Below him, more fog just as he had encountered here but not. The faces did not return but the rest of the body; arms and fingers and possibly even some legs. Another obstacle to get through, that's all it was and he made his way down. And of course, hands reached out and grabbed him, obscuring his sense of balance.
