Liv was content to sit away from the others so they could have a quiet breakfast just the two of them, and she sat down opposite him, crossing her legs in a ladylike fashion, despite her being scantily clad in her bathing suit, thus already defeating the purpose of being modest. She picked up the menu (the resort was such a nice place, they never served a breakfast buffet and made everything to order) and started to peruse it, trying to decide what type if breakfast she wanted. She actually wasn't too terribly hungry, so she thought she might opt for something on the lighter side.
"What do you think you'll get?" she asked him as she continued to read through the items.

"Hmm..." He mused, opening the menu, his eye trailing down the list of dishes written down. "Maybe some pancakes... I'm more in the mood for something savoury, though... so I think I'll get some sausages and scrambled eggs." He decided with a firm nod, closing the menu and putting it back down on the table. He folded his hands on top of it, patiently waiting for her to make her decision.
((...Now I want scrambled eggs :c Maybe I'll have some tomorrow))

Liv nodded in agreement, "Yeah, I'm in the mood for the same, but something light. I think I'll get an omelette...with a bit of ham and cheese," she smiled and closed her menu as well. When the server came over she also ordered some tea and undid her silverware, folding the napkin on her lap.
"Have you been to the pier yet? There's a whole carnival and everything," she asked.

"Oh, a carnival?" He repeated, interested. Mimicking her, he unfolded his napkin and put it on his lap. "I haven't seen it yet, but that sounds like fun." He poured them both a glass of water from the chilled carafe the server had left for them. "Have you been there yet? I'm sure Luci would love that."

"Yes, they've got games and a ferris wheel. Uhm...we went yesterday, for a bit," she said, brushing her skirt. She of course had no intention of telling anyone about what actually happened.

"Oh, sounds like fun~ Maybe I'll check it out sometime." When the server came back with their food he lifted his knife and fork eagerly, his stomach practically hurting from hunger at that point. "This looks great~" He cut into one of the juicy sausages and popped the piece into his mouth.
"I wonder how things are going back at the Order... I'm glad I don't have to get rid of those bees..."

"Yeah, it was..," she smiled a little and was glad for the distraction, her eyes darting away from Lavi. She dug in too, cutting a piece of her omelette and eating it before replying, "Oh, me too. It must be awful. But since it was probably Komui's doing, it's good of the Science Department to take care of it and let us have this little vacation. Even the medical staff get a break."

"That's true... I feel kinda bad for lounging around a sunny beach while they're chasing crazy killer bees around though... they never asked for Komui's insane experiments either." He put a little salt and pepper on his eggs before scooping a bit into his mouth, making a pleased little sound at the taste of it. "Oh, they did? I haven't seen them around... that's good. They deserve a break, having to put up with our stubbornness all the time..."

((HERE'S YOUR GODDANG POST WOMAN. >:c I blame Liv for this 100% She actually swore at me for not posting it... TT___TT ))
Misery really did not love company, so Silvia Mirabelli had discovered over the mock of a vacation her time in New Zealand had turned into. As every minute ticked by she felt a little more miserable and twice as guilty as the minute before. She slept some, woke and realized if she hadn't shirked her duties for helping with the bee infestation that she wouldn't be in such a terrible situation. The longer she had time to sit and ruminate on her conversation with Lavi the more sure of how the issue was going to end. He had made his feelings obvious the day before: he had tried over and over again to fall out of love with her... and maybe now she had provided the reason he needed to finally follow through with his goal. How hard was it to fall out of love with a girl who caused so much trouble it was hardly worth the time to put up with her when you didn't want to love her in the first place?
With a throaty sigh she quickly tired of being inside of her own head, an despite her cigarette craving practically screaming in her ear she decided to go the healthier route. Take a walk, fill her lungs with sweet, clean air in the opposite direction of the beach where she wouldn't see the young man who filled her mind. But first, a bite. Easing off of her bed, the young woman slipped into something more outdoor appropriate by covering with a flouncy loose blue top and a pair of leggings that would protect her skin from the foliage. As she moved through the hotel with grace, she pinned her long hair back into a bun, finishing the last tug just as she turned into the cafeteria and abruptly stopped.
Lavi, of course, was the first thing she spotted when she entered the restaurant that was slowly filling with life. He was sitting across from someone else, smiling, laughing, seeming as carefree as he had ever been. The person across from him was none other than Liv, of course, and although she was not surprised she turned around swiftly. Abruptly she ducked back out of the door not wanting either of them to see her, eyes widening behind her glasses. Heart pounding in her ears, she headed off towards the door opposite of the beach front. Whatever hunger she felt disappeared in a turn of her stomach as a thousand thoughts passed through her head. Though the first accusation she could have jumped to was Lavi being unfaithful, the thought didn't even cross her mind even in passing. In those first few moments she wondered when was the last time she had made him so easily forget his woes and smile such a wonderful smile instead of being the main catalyst to his problems. It felt like she had been causing him nothing but grief as his girlfriend while someone else had easily settled into the role of his best friend... and was doing a better job of it than Sil ever had.
For the first time, the accusation Liv had hastily made in the park that day hit Sil hard in the chest. It was the second time in two days that she realized statements said by certain individuals in her and Lavi's life had some honest validation, both equally stinging. It was so much easier to be friends, to have a relationship like he and Liv now had... and though she didn't regret a single moment on her end, could Lavi ever not feel slighted by the strife she caused him with her extra baggage?
"Stupid emotions... stupid... relationships. Ugh," Sil grumbled far too loudly, causing a little blonde girl nearby to stare up at her clearly startled by the crazy woman talking to herself. With a roll of her eyes she told her brain to shut the hell up and stop scaring the guests, huffing as she headed off down a trail into the forest, intending to disappear for a while into the foliage and trees that were so unfamiliar... At the moment, no one would miss her. All she wanted was someone to hug her tight and tell her she was worth something when she felt as useless and as cumbersome as the fallen debris that tripped up her feet as she walked.
