As the Hawkshot hit, Lance smiled, but didn't allow himself to get too cocky. After all, he was still the proud owner of 2 busted ribs, a smashed leg, and a badly broken arm that he was still using. He could feel his various wounds starting to reopen and the shouting had given him some more pain to deal with. As the crystals came down and met his Vulcan Spread, he raised his hands again and let loose another.
"Double Vulcan Spread!" he called out and released another 2-second burst from each hand. Then he had an idea. He changed his left hand (the one on the broken arm) from the position for a Vulcan to the one for just a normal two-fingered Shot. As he continually repeated with Vulcan Spreads to the beast's face, he used the Shots to quickly drop the few unlucky mini-demons that tried to interfere, but it seemed they'd decided to stay the ******** away from the madman ballsy enough to throw down with one of the big boys.
And thus, more often than not, he was using those two fingers (which were much more powerful and had more stopping power than one-finger but just a hair slower) to fire Shots into the crystal-monster's eyes. Although he could feel each shot inching him closer and closer to his limit. He tried not to think about what would happen if he hit that limit before this thing was dead. Xyeek and Key have successfully killed three demons in a row. The boy gave a quick smile along with his partner's sigh, bu they still have more demons to kill and important matters to attend to. Xyeek was proud to have pulled off the Kishin Hunter. It was said to be the most powerful soul resonance technique a Scythe Meister can use in battle.
Xyeek remained alert to any possible danger. Although his reflection no longer could be seen due to the transformed scythe blade, his Meister could sill feel his emotions, since they're still resonating souls. Xyeek noticed immediately that another demon was rushing toward his Meister. "Key, another demon is coming this!" He exclaimed to warn her.

He noticed the crystal beast who heard him and grinned. "Thank you. I'll need your help." he said to the beast. He looked back at Lily, his grin growing. "Well, I am a shadow demon. You better watch your shadow, it might turn against you."

The beast would have come to Ren's side, but he was stuck in battle with some kid... The crystal beast shot out more crystals, countering the shots. Then the beast swung its tail again, hoping to hit the boy.
Two of the female looking creatures then came charging at the boy with swords, in attempts to stab him

Key turned around after hearing that another demon was coming. It was another two sworded one. She swung the scythe blade at it and then kicked it so it would go up in the air. She kicked it upwards two times after that and then brought the scythe blade upwards, slashing downwards and cutting the thing in half.
He was having a hard time getting too many shots in and unless he could ramp up their penetration, he was gonna run out of ammo before he took it down. The tail! As it came in, he had a flash of genius inspiration. What better way to get inside its defenses than to hitch a ride? As it came by, he did a funny little maneuver. he did a quick jump to get over the tail, which took little effort despite his busted left leg. And, in mid-hop, reached out an arm and grabbed hold of one of the crystal spikes that lined this thing like a stegosaurus. It must have been comical, this boy hitching a ride on this big-a** demon like a San Francisco street car.
As soon as he was in place, he only had to climb the crystalline spikes. he knew that what he was doing was possibly either the single bravest or single most retarded thing he'd ever done thus far in his life. he prayed it was the former. The going was slow, considering he doubted it would just let some random passenger use it as a ladder to get to the base of its skull. Thank the Lord Death that his Eagle Eye was guiding his hands and feet by seeing every holding point at the same time. Every move, though, was slowly sapping him and sending flashes of white agony through his body. But the adrenaline was flowing and he was on a mission, so somewhere in the back of his mind he figured he'd be in the hospital for weeks after tonight. Kyda walked around quietly. She was oddly tired after the mission. Talking people out of doing stupid things was taxing. Not to mention Ky had bore through an even worse interview for Alphonse. Her body was a bit numb, she hated her previous meister but it still hurt to see him pass. Her best friend Noel had done it. That made it hurt a little less because Alec was a terrible person. It sucked to say it but it was the truth.
"What do you want to do? Walk around.. Get something to eat.. Go to the school.. Go home..." The last part lingered a bit more than the others. Home sounded a lot nicer than having to be around more loud people. Students were okay as long as it wasn't that annoying rude boy with glasses. Kyda decided to not heal him before his fight with Asella. Little loudmouthed brat. She was secretly rooting for the witch to at least break an arm or a leg. He needed to be knocked off that high horse of his.
Looking around the streets she sees a little commotion but decides not to act on it. The only way she would was if she got orders to, but even then it was questionable. In Kydas current attire she looked as if she just got done running. Aside from a little frost bite she received on her left arm and right ankle, no one would have been able to tell how cold she was. Heat was her friend, the winter weather, was not. Kyda wanted Alphonse's jacket but didn't feel like asking just yet.
The beast felt the boy climb on to his tail. Just how stupid was this kid? Didn't he know that the closer he got to a creature of madness, the stronger the madness would be? Maybe that's why he did such a thing; the madness could have been clouding his judgement. The beast sent crystal spikes up out of its back where ever the kid stepped, trying to stab him from below. "Get off me!" The beast communicated to the boy through a telepathic connection. The beast the put up a giant, tall, thick crystal wall on its back, so that the boy couldn't go any farther. It created two more walls on its sides so that the only way out was upwards (which would be one heck of a climb),down its back, or death.
I might make a separate layout for the beast sometime today.... xp

I swear, I just know I've seen this exact scene in a video game somewhere....
There was no doubt that he felt the madness assaulting his every sense. It was maddeningly difficult (no pun intended) to walk the fine line between letting the madness take him and using it to keep his fear at bay...but he was managing it well enough. As the crystal walls came up, he lifted a hand and aimed three fingers at the one in front. He fired twice and winced at the effort it took not to drown in the fear, madness, and weakness that were all trying to claim him at once. As soon as he'd blasted a hole through it (and hopefully hurt the crystal monster in the process), he grabbed a nearby outcropping and swung through it before it could be replaced. By this point, he was technically within range to potentially kill it, but he was gonna go all the way or die in the attempt...and he had no intention of dying tonight. In terms of distance, he'd made it about halfway up its back and something in the back of his mind was wondering if anyone else was doing anything else this monumentally risky. He doubted it. Xyeek was impressed at how strong key has become in such time. He was also amazed by how much stronger he is as well. The Kishin Hunter was still active, so defeating these demons will be easy enough. However, since this is their first time using the technique, the blade's form began to shift. At estimate, Xyeek would guess it would only stay for one more slash attack. Not only was the Kishin Hunter powerful, but exhausting as well.
Since they were still resonating, Xyeek started to communicate with Key through their thoughts. "Key be careful, we only have one more attack left with the Kishin Hunter. It's still our first time using it, so we should save up on our energy for future battles to come." He was excited to keep using the Kishin Hunter, but at the rate they were going, they would be exhausted of their energy. It's best that they keep mindful of how much power the technique exerts.

The beast let out a loud roar after the boy had shot a hole through the crystal wall. It continued to attack him with spikes coming from its back. The beast let the walls on the sides disappear and tried to shake the boy off its back. Just what was he thinking? Climbing up its back... The beast let its wavelength spike with more madness, hoping that would attack his system...
Lily turned around when she heard the crystals moving in the air, but of course she wasnt prepared well, she she swung her sheathed blade at the crystas knocking them away as best as she could, but one she oulnt block that well, shich she used her sheathed blade to slow down, it still hit her in the side, she hit the crystal getting it to break away, that way she didnt have a crystal stuck to her, she quickly grabbed the shard that broke and took it out, only to unsheathe her blade alittle putting the blade against her skin absorbing the blood "geez...i can never get a break on these types of fights" she muttered before "in any case......seems i might have to deal with both of you...since everyone else is busy with the other demons...." she said before hearing his latest comment "well thank you...for telling me that...that just tells me to rely on my hearing" she said before unsheathing her blade one again, she charged back at Ren, as she moved wind began to move quickly around the blade making almost a vortex around it, which would add an extra force to her attacks, but as she came closer she would then swing
+ Weapon Creation: she can create a katana which helps release more of her power(helps her use two tailed form easier) + Elemental force: she can harness 3 elements with the help of her sword Fire,Water and Air + Two Tailed Elemental Form: instead of letting her powers take control she works with the powers + Enhanced speed + Blood Blade: the blade she can create is known as the blood blade, it absorbs any blood that is drawn with the blade, and when needed it can use the blood within the blade to attack, it is almost lie a black blood ability but controlled by the sword + Outraged Power: whenever she loses control her eyes glow Dark Red which is a sign she lost control of her power and she literally is stronger when like this but shell attack anyone she sees as an enemy even friends

Yeah, after he gets that shot off into the base of the crystal-thing's head, he'll be out cold. Also may or may not be unable to fight the madness anymore. Haven't decided that yet.
Each incoming spike, Lance ducked or swung away from but he felt more than one find a mark on his body. His willpower, as the thing ramped up the madness wavelength, was surprising even himself. He'd heard the thing in his head. Maybe he could respond to it and see if its master was listening. "How does it feel to watch someone like me make such a fool out of someone like you?" As soon as he felt the thought leave hi, he regretted it. He froze as the madness found a crack in the iron defenses of his mind. He was struggling now to stay his own guy. He knew it would make him stronger if he accepted it, maybe strong enough to fight even longer with the ones in charge. The madness could give him power, a release, an escape. He knew that it wanted him to know this.
No, he was doing this on his own power or else it wouldn't be him doing it. He started the climb again, this time the shaking and writhing of the beast making it much worse. The spikes kept coming and more than once he felt it stab him directly...and yet this exceedingly stubborn kid climbed higher, his absolute refusal to give up now one of the only things keeping him alive. Just...a few...more....yards....and he'd have.....a clean...shot. Please Lord Death, don't let either of the real bosses step in. The Beast could hear the boy's thoughts and immediately grew angry at them... Not a good thing for him... Its eyes turned from the seafoam-green color they were to a vibrant red. A line of fire went down the monster's back. "Get off, already!" It said to him, now frustrated with the boy. The Crystal Thing continued to shake, trying to get him off. But of course, this boy was stubborn and probably wouldn't give up even if he was shaken off.
