Julian wakes up with a groan and then looks around. She blinks a few and tries to remember what happen to her. The wound on her neck was now just a white scar, but she got up fast and ran out. Eyes wide.

James -now being controled by his alternate personia Charlie- walked into the large pent house sized apartment 13 floors up. "this place....its is...good...well...no...it is nice." He started to head toward the bed room and fell holding his head. Memories flooded through his mind, A woman knocked out on a bed, two wolves fighting, a miss shaped man yelling in pain, a coal black wolf holwing in pain,...Charlie pushed them back out of his mind. "Damn it James your memories are horrid. You are such.....words I have not to continue."

Sibyl punched in the code in order to get in the building where Mikami's new apartment room would soon be. She didn't have a problem helping out a pack mate and giving them a place to stay and since she'd been taught to as a child, she didn't expect anything from Mikami in return either. It was futile to expect someone to give something back and even if they did, there was no way to measure which one was more, not that Sibyl cared but humans did indeed. She merely decided that she'd let him stay in her place, give him her one rule and pay rent for him since it was less of a hassle and she didn't care about money all that much and rarely used it, except in this instance and a few others that involved her weapons and occasionally food.
She didn't like elevators at all so she completely avoided the elevator in the building and chose to take the stairs as an alternate route despite the fact that her room was on the top floor. "Alrighty. I'm taking the stairs up to your soon-to-be apartment because I'm frightened of elevators due to the fact I'm claustrophobic. You can feel free to take the elevator and meet me up there if you so wish. My apartment number is 1300 and it's on the thirteenth floor in case you don't recognize the pattern of the room numbers according to their floor numbers." She began to walk up the stairs, obviously not in any hurry.

Mikami finally caught up with Sibyl. he was surpised by her speed. She looked a little small to be a pack leader, but she more then made up for it in pure speed. He wondered how strong she was. Fallowing her inside the building he heard of her problem with elivators. He smirked and fallowed her to the stairs.
"I'd rather not be rude to my host. I'll walk with you if you can't take the elivator. Besides, I got plent of strength left from that run." He said fallowing behind her."Let me ask you, arent you conserned thatyour enemies might descover where you live? And all alone out here, a large ambush would spell trouble. Why have you lived alone so long?"

Sibyl wasn't stronger than she was fast but she was stronger than your average lycan none the less. She was a prodigy in her pack and was a very promising child and continued to be so as she grew. She was accustomed to being observed by her elders but that didn't mean that she liked or enjoyed it. Hence why she'd eventually left her pack in order to come to New York where she could do her job without being observed constantly and critiqued.
She didn't care that he found her fear amusing, there were many that found it ironic that such a powerful wolf was afraid of a mere elevator because it wasn't spacious. However, it was a legitimate fear taking into account the fact that she was rasied out doors and in open spaces. "And the smirking and finding my fear amusing isn't in any way being rude to your host?" She didn't care but she'd still raise the fact that he had to see how he'd respond. "I'm not particularly frightened of an ambush, no. If people discover where I live then I'd relocate, that and I don't come here often since I live in my other apartment. This one's just here in case and lucky for you it is there otherwise you'd have no home."

Mikami knew she would notice his smirk. But he didnt care, it was amusing yes, but he couldnt help but feal for her. Truth be told, he was afraid of some ridiculouse things growing up as well. His major one, was clowns. He never understood why humans dressed like idiots and always had a creepy smile on there face. It was un-nerving to see anyone like that. Anyone who smiled all the time had to be crazy.
"Sorry, no harm by it. But........you reminded me of myself growing up. I had an unatural fear of clowns till recently. But seriously, you have to let me have that it is slitly amusing. And tell you what, let me have my laugh, and you can laugh about my fear of clowns all you want." He said in a very serious and calm tone.

Sibyl had always possessed her fear of small enclosed spaces since she'd mistakenly been caged when she was a pup at a very young age. It traumatized her and the fact that she lived in wide open spaces in the wild and out doors didn't particularly make matters better. "I know there was no harm by it." Sibyl said with a smile, "I was merely mentioning that someone might find another person laughing at their fears as rude. I personally do not care but I decided I'd mention it to see what you had to say. As for clowns, they're people and I can kill them all just the same so they're not too big of an issue. However, I'm sure all that make-up would taste awful."

Mikami closed his eyes and smiled at the comment. Though he saw her as a leader, he found it funny that she had a sense of humor, especially when all he has seen so far was this dead seriouse, no nosense personality. It was a nice change of pace fr him. H noticed they had been walking for a while."That it would. Heh, tell me. Have you ever tryed to face your fears? Try to confront it so you wont be afraid anymore?"

Sibyl had a sense of humour and her own personality beneath her hard nosed exterior that she used when leading her pack. She had no problem being friendly with all the members of her pack but when they were stepping over the line or they were fighting as a pack, she became the commander that accepted no nonsense on the battlefield. "Yes," she responded without hesitation, "many times. Believe me, I used to refuse to even enter an apartment building it was too small and suffocating for me. However, I slowly got over it and when I occasionally feel suffocated by the place, I have balconies in both my apartments so I can go outside and feel the fresh breeze. However, New York's breeze isn't all that fresh, more smoggy, really. It can't even come close to how fresh and good it felt to be outside back home."

Mikami stopped and looke out the window beside the stairs. He placed his hadn on it and stared at his and Sibyl's reflection. "Well......that makes two of us that think that. The air is polluted with the foul stench of humans. Desroying the planet slowly. Conssuming every natural resource we have to lie offof. And going as far as to try and go further into space. Humans are a selfish bred that needs order and control. Or at the very least, extermination. We lycan's have lived far better then this. Living off the land. Taking what we only need to survive. The fresh air and the open space........how I miss it sometimes.Sorry......Im babbling."

"Humans," Sibyl decided to comment, "all smell different to me just as everyone else smells different to me since no one has the exact same scent signature. Some humans smell disgusting like body odor, some smell gross like cigarettes and whatnot, some smell like air fresherners, some reek of perfume, some smell of lovely spices and make me want to devour them. I agree that they are selfish and are destroying the planet but don't forget that not all humans are like that. We have a vast amount of electronics at our disposal but I for one don't use natural resources such as gas, I only rely on electricity. No need to apologize, it's a meaningless apology since you're not actually sorry. You're just concerned that it'll annoy me and you're trying to excuse yourself. It's pretty much pointless since you're not sorry for it because it's your opinion and you wanted me to know it. Don't bother apologizing for your opinion, I may disagree with you but if I do then I'll tell you that I do."
They finally climbed the stairway all the way to the top floor, the thirteenth floor where Sibyl's suite happened to be. She approached the door, cautious as ever and slipped her key easily into the keyhole. She turned it and waited for the click that signified the door was unlocked, took her key out and turned the knob to open the door to allow herself inside her apartment.
She waited for Mikami to follow after her, not bothering to hold the door for him since in her pack it showed a weak leader to be so courteous all the time and wait for others. However, Sibyl had her disagreements with her father and she'd openly expressed them so it'd been another reason she'd always been a lone wolf as opposed to a member of her pack. She enjoyed being in a pack but she hadn't agreed with some of her father's ideals and unlike him, she refused to leave her pack members behind when they were in need. Had she not stayed behind with her sister and had carried her along with her, her sister would have died.
As Sibyl stood in the doorway to the apartment she said absolutely nothing. She wasn't really one for making conversation, she was more of a listener than a talker so she would speak if spoken to and if she felt she wanted to speak then she would speak to someone else. Instead, she just remained in the doorway and held onto the second key so that she'd be able to present it to Mikami when he decided to enter the apartment room to check the place out.

Mikami smiled at her comment. He walked into her appartment and took a look around. It was truely an impressive sight. Only the best for the leader he supposed. He liked the fact he would be staying here from now on too. Being the former leader of his pack, he loved spaciouse rooms that allowed him to really stretch his legs out. He sniffed the air and took in all the scents of the room. He would memorize this scent to warn him if any intruders had entered. Though he knew that none would be foolish enough to try and attack somone like Sibyl.
He placed his bag on the large couch she had in the middle of the room and turned to her. "Nice place. Reminds me of my old place back home. It stilll shocks me that you live alone. Especially with being the pack leader and all that. I would have figured you live in a mansion with servants. Or at least with a mate. But thats just my opinion. Is there anything I should particularly know about this appartment? Any troublesome neighbors?"

The apartment was actually extremely empty minus the fridge and the sink in the kitchen, the dishes and whatnot in the cupboards, the utensils in their various drawers, the computer sitting on a desk in the living room along with a couch along the wall, and a plant next to the couch. As for her room, if he happened to catch a glimpse of it, it only had a nest of blankets and pillows, her drawer of clothes and nothing else. Her bathroom had a few towels and she had her cleansing supplies and that was about it except for her radio, which still had her Nightwish CD in it from the last time she'd showered here. The bathroom obviously had a toilet and shower as well as it had a mirror above the sink that was there. Other than that, Sibyl's apartment was very spacious due to the fact that next to no objects had made their home there. In all honesty, the place had lots of potential but Sibyl had made it look like some tiny bomb shelter.
"There's a balcony just over there," she pointed to a door that was beside the computer on the desk, "it's small but I enjoy being able to watch the day's happenings from time to time. It's rather peaceful being perched up there with no one else to bother you. And the computer's off-limits, not that you'd be able to get through my fire-wall system anyhow since I'm what humans dub a techno-geek or techno-tard or nerd, whichever term it is that you know best, just so you know. If you have a computer or something you want to hook up then feel free to hook one up, the other room that you can take refuge in has sockets for the computer as well as a phone line so feel free to connect your computer or get a phone or both in your room."
She tossed him the keys and decided to seat herself on the floor, crossing her left leg over her right leg as she sat in what many would call an Indian style. "I'm a loner, what can I say? It's kind of odd that I was appointed as a pack leader when I was quite a bit of a loner but apparently the Alpha saw some potential in me and decided to elect me as the Beta female. I don't top Myythren, the Alpha female but no one honestly knows when she's going to be coming back or if she's coming back. She kind of just disappeared and left no notice. She's the Alpha male's mate so that explains why I'm not mated with him and we don't have a Beta male so that makes me mateless. Without a mate to worry about, I think life would be a lot more stressful. However, I'm speaking from my sister's experience since her mate and her were ambushed and her mate ended up dying and she lost her will to live, to do anything completely."
Upon him mentioning pesky neighbours she simply shook her head from side to side, her dark crimson hair flowing along in time with the shaking of her head. "No, the people here are actually really pretty quiet. I have a friend who actually lives in the same building, though I haven't seen him for a while and something actually went down at his place. A huge brawl broke out along with all hell. The apartment was practically destroyed and yet there was no one there to report it, minus one person who called the cops. However, luckily by the time they got there, being the swift people we are, we had the place cleaned up by the time the cops came to inspect the place."
"Anyhow," she said as she rose from her seated position, not requiring the use of her hands in order to stand up on her own, "I'm going to be heading out right away. I don't normally stay here and I should probably check up on the Alpha since he was acting quite odd the last time I saw him. I suppose I'll see you around and I'm sure you'll figure the place out. Just don't go into the room with the closed door on the left of the hallway, that's my room. I will seriously maim you if you go in there without my authorization. Now that that's over with, feel free to tag along or stay, whichever floats your boat and see you."

Mikami nodded and listened to her explanation. He decided for now he would settle in and rest a little. After seeing her off and locking the door he went into his new room.Sighing he dropped his bag on the floor and fell back first on the floor as well. He stared at the ceiling for a while."So.....peacefull here."

After taking a short nap, Mikami woke up. He had fallen asleep on the floor of his new room. Whiping his eyes he let out a loud yawn. "Hmm......she's still not back. Well, nothing to do here. I guess I'll go out and see what this city is all about." He said getting up and dusting himself off. He left the room and appartment lokcing it behind him. He then made his way out of the building and into the city.
