Liam let the male mess with his hair as they walked. He remained quiet as the male pulled him along quickening their speed. Liam moved through the crowds still holding onto Alaine's hand as they stopped at the cross walk. He waited with him, feeling the male's hand tighten on his hand. Liam looked around him waiting feeling impatient as the people around him stood as well waiting. He looked over at the male, wondering what had brought his thoughts to think he was a dog. Liam shook his head letting the thought drift as the light changed. He stepped off the side walk and walked with the rest of the people across the street along side Alaine. "

After messing with his hair, he again smiled down at the male. He was only teasing, to try and cheer him up a bit since he seemed somewhat disturbed when he mentioned their boss earlier. In the back of his mind, Alaine made a mental note to try and avoid speaking about Sam as much as possible. He didn't like the awkward silences that followed bringing up the man and found it hard to get back to their usual goofy selves. As he stepped off the sidewalk, he repeatedly looked up and down the streets, never really trusting traffic, there was always one impatient fool who just had to inch closer and closer before speeding off like a bat out of hell. When they were across, he looked back at the male before leading him down second and up to third. At the corner of second and third, there was a small gallery called Midtown gallery. It was a quaint little, one that usually changed things up every few weeks or months. Alaine liked it because they changed things up so much. They had everything from local artist and world known artist. Coming here always gave him something new and exciting to see. "Here we are."[/b he said, he lead the male up a short flight of steps and into the building.

It was large in size which didn't make up for what was inside. Liam followed Alaine up the steps and inside. He immediately tried to take everything in at once but it was hard. Liam tried to retrain himself as he smiled happily up at Alaine. He looked around the room, not sure what to look at first. Liam hadn't meant to pull Alaine along but he was to excited. He took the male leading him over to a small area to take a long at a few different paintings. Liam took in the paintings, he wanted to touch them but kept his hands to himself. He hated being in galleries at times, like a child he just wanted to touch everything. "

Following the male into the building, they stepped into a large studio with white walls, bright LED lights, and beautiful hard wood floors. Since it was the males first time coming to the gallery, he decided he would let him go ahead and let him decide what they should look at first. Already, by looking around he could tell that there was some new pieces up and ready for auction. Following the male up to a small area filled with mixed modern and old paintings, he stood beside him, taking in the artists style and how life like some of them were. Alaine glanced at the male from the corner of his eye, curious to know what he thought. But he was going to save any and all questions until they left. Letting go of the males hand, Alaine wandered a bit around the area, turning his head at odd angles and making mental side notes. He smiled at the works he liked, frowned at the ones he didn't understand, and rose eyesbrows at the just plain oddly interesting.

Liam found himself amused by certain pieces while others were simply boring. He didn't know what made some people do art. A few pieces were good while others were bad. Liam wondered over to where Alaine was and looked at the piece he was looking at. "What's your favorite so far?" He asked curiously trying to make conversation as he stood next to Alaine. Liam didn't have a favorite so far, he was just interested in looking at all of them. "

Alaine liked looking at different works through the gallery. Each piece was more random and out there than the last. As he went through the gallery, he found one of a a man in uniform that he liked,another of a dancing ballerina, and a third of what appeared to be a cop leaning against his car. There were several others he enjoyed, but these three he liked the most. Something about the artists style. It was intriguing, unique, and easily recognized. When the male came up beside him, he looked down and smiled at him. "So far, it's between these three." he said, pointing out the modern, digital paintings. "What about you? See anything you like?" Alaine was very interested to know what the male liked. He was curious to know how different or similar their taste might be, what his thoughts about the works were, what he might think the piece is about.

Liam nodded at the male's words, "Yes, a few." He took Alaine's hand as he lead him toward an area where he had seen a few things he liked. The first piece was of different mediums he didn't know what but something about the piece interesting him. It was like looking at two different worlds The second piece was of a painting, what type he wasn't sure. It was of three different trees and looked surreal to him. The third piece was charcoal and water color. He didn't know what to make of it but it looked like an Indian Chief. Liam looked over at the male as he pointed out the different ones he liked. "((Yes, it must be nice. That's sucks.. Hopefully they do. ))

Alaine knew his taste was a tad out there. But it was just apart of his personality. He liked all kinds of art; artistic n***s, landscape photography, cosplay, different style realism, digital fanart, photo manipulation, typography, etc. The galleries were like his second and third homes. When the male took his hand, he could tell just how different their taste were. Where Alaine preferred a brightly colored, glossy digital painting, the male seemed to prefer faded and simple traditional works. They were interesting to look at, but nothing really spoke to him. "Not bad." he commented. "Come check these out, what do you think?" Alaine led the male through the gallery again, back to a few others he'd seen that he thought were pretty cool. One was of a bloody snow white. The second, a fanart from the Lord of the Rings done in what he wanted to guess was acrylics or some kind of paint in a digital painting program, and the third was of a model he only knew of as Ophelias Overdose Looking between the ones he liked and the ones Liam liked, it was almost comical how polar opposite their taste was yet they were able to be together like with next to no problems.

He looked over at the male as he spoke before he lead him toward a few other pieces he had yet to see. Liam took notice of each of them, but he didn't know what to make of them. He could tell that Alaine and he had different tastes which was fine. "There good." Liam spoke not really knowing what to say. He wasn't a fan of fan art so he dismissed the Lord of the Rings one. Liam wasn't into dark things all that much so he dismissed the snow white one as well. He continued to look at the other pieces around them. Liam didn't mind they were opposites after all it was said that opposites attract at times. "

Looking down at the male, he could hear the hesitation in his voice. Smiling, he squeezed the males hand, "It's okay, you don't have to like them." he said gently. Alaine knew their tastes would be different and he didn't want the male to lie to appease him. He didn't mind if they had different taste, it would be boring if they had every little thing in common. It was just one of those things, either they were both going to like it, or they wouldn't. It was as simple as that, no use in trying to deny it. Alaine liked all different kinds of art and styles. He liked the bright colors, the warm colors, the digital paintings that looked so real and life like, as if he could just reach out and touch them. The darker pictures were interesting, with their haunting images and dark beauty. The beautifully manipulated photos and the breath taking portraits. Each work was unique and interesting to him. He didn't need to understand art to like it. Taking the male by the hand, he led him around the gallery some more, moving slowly from one room to the next. They looked at more paintings and sculptures, some finely made jewelry and gorgeous hand sewn outfits that looked to be hundreds of years old. He kept close to the male without a care of who saw or might say anything. This was their date, he was happy and having fun, and nobody could spoil that for him.

Liam nodded at the male's words, it wasn't that he didn't like them, it just wasn't something that interested him. He took in the other pictures around him, he really didn't know what to think of some of them. Liam couldn't understand art sometimes, especially when it was like looking a dot on canvas. When he saw things like that, he just had to shake his head. He allowed Alaine to lead him around the gallery to look at different things. For being in an art gallery, he was having fun. It wasn't to be expected but he found it amusing in a way. Liam stopped at the few pieces of jewelry, he wasn't the type of person to be interested in jewelry. He found it to be boring but perhaps people like that sort of thing. Liam looked up at Alaine as he held onto his hand as the male lead him around to look at different pieces. "You know, I didn't think I would have fun but I am." He smiled up at the male as he looked at a few more pieces before he realized he had looked at everything already. "

Wandering around the gallery, they were able to look at all different works. Some of it good, others not so good, and some he just stared at them wondering what it was he was looking at. As they wandered about, he couldn't believe how great of a time he was having. Not that he didn't normally enjoy going to galleries, but it was just better somehow to be able to go with someone else. Sam didn't like the kind of art Alaine did so they always ended up debating about technique and style. After a few times, Alaine decided it was better if they didn't go together as much anymore. But with Liam, it was nice. They could easily exchange ideas, they didn't fuss over which works were better, and it was nice to be able to talk abou the works they both enjoyed. As they came to a case holding custom jewelry, Alaine hoovered over it, taking in the details and admiring the beautiful pieces. He wasn't much for jewelry, but he could admire it all the same. When they both had a good look at all the jewelry, they moved on to an area with more paintings, a few sculptures and different types of models. "Well I'm glad," he replied, looking down at the male. "Truth be told, I was a little worried that you would be dead bored with this kind of thing." As they finished looking around, he lead the male out of the building, pausing outside to take out his phone and check the time. They had successfully killed two hours, but it was still kind of early for dinner. "Hm, what to do now." he murmured to himself as he stuffed his phone back into his pocket.
