A chill traveled from Salieri's toes all the way up to her brain upon contact with Bill's cup. Of course there was a cup. He was already wearing armor, so why not? Note to self: stop wearing these damn open toed shoes. "Yow! Son of a-"
Liuye Dao could see the Watchog's condition. With the heavy bleeding, he'd be down in no time. Still, he had enough fight in him left to cause some serious damage. In this case, Liuye saw that the target was not himself this time. It was his trainer.
Could she dodge it? Maybe, but she wasn't even aware of the Thunderbolt. For all she knew, Topper was just some sort of dirty, sexist euphemism. She didn't know it was a name. Even with his Inner Focus keeping him on track, he was still worried. The Pawniard weighed his options.
If he shot another Psycho Cut at the Thunderbolt, the explosion would probably be more dangerous then the attack. If he took the attack, he might not be able to keep fighting, and then Salieri and Chen Zhen would have to deal with the Watchog themselves. If he allowed it to hit her...
She had taken stray attacks from training mishaps before. She was tough as nails. But Liuye Dao had doubts that her vitality would keep her conscious. He took a deep breath.
Salieri, Chen Zhen...I'm sorry.
Chen Zhen wasn't the only one who learned a new attack today. Liuye had been watching the Thunderbolts carefully, and although he couldn't reproduce electricity on the same scale, he still had the talent. From his bladed hand came a thin strip of lightning, like a snake slithering through the air at Topper. The Watchog would probably think it was a stray spark from the Thunderbolt, but the Thunder Wave was something else entirely. Should it hit, it would paralyze the nerves throughout Topper's body and look like a serpent of electricity sliding all along the normal type's body, leaving him to be easily finished off by the blade pokemon.
This decision that Liuye made meant that Salieri was going to have to take the attack. She heard a buzzing in her ears, but didn't think anything of it while she continued her sentence. Her toe still touched the steel cup.
"Bi-IIIIIIIIIIITTTTCCCCCHHHHH!!!!!!!"
Her body convulsed and her long hair frizzed up as lightning struck it's mark, electrocuting the Battle Girl. It would most likely fry up Bill as well, but on a far more powerful and potentially life threatening scale thanks to his previously helpful steel armor. And if that was to happen, well, the Vine Whips contained enough water that not even Chen Zhen would be safe from the shock.
It was a terrible choice for the Pawniard to make. Liuye Dao just hoped it was the right one.

"They're getting away!" Chuck shouted. Now, he would have launched himself at Wayne but his face still hurt. K-Rok was visibly annoyed by the enemy escaping. Hell, he'd SURVIVED his super powered rap, not everyone could do that. He rushed over to Chuck and looked up through the hole.
"Go after them," Chuck ordered and K-Rok bent his head down, grabbed Chuck by the head between his jaws and tossed him up, through the hole before he started after.
And Chuck landed topside with a metallic thud. He groaned and rolled over from his back to his chest before he started back to his feet and surveyed the area for the enemy.
***
Topper, you b*****d.
Bill was cooked alive, almost, in his armor as the electricity flowed through him. His body spasmed, his teeth clenched and he fell to the ground after a moment or so, reduced to a fit of spasms and convulsions, steam rising from the armored mess.
As for Watchog, he was hit by the Thunder Wave, but that didn't mean that he was down and out yet. He looked over at Liuye and the big hypnotic eyes closed. Rest
Of course there was no break from this! The paralysis would fade and the wounded legs, while they wouldn't heal instantly, would close up enough to count.

Liuye Dao panted in frustration. The damage that had been dealt to Topper was slowly being undone as the Watchog went to sleep. He wanted to tear the beaver's head off. It was as if all of the effort was for nothing. Allowing Salieri to get hit was useless-
Salieri.
The Pawniard sharply turned his head to see that his trainer was teetering back and forth on one foot. Her eyes were black swirls, and her mouth was gaping open in a woozy manner. Her long hair was frizzy and unkempt now, and smoke rose from her body. “Gwahhhh~” With that tired groan came a short cough and puff of smoke from Salieri’s mouth before she stood still. And in the next beat, she fell onto her back with her arms spread out wide, like a child making a snow angel. Or an especially resilient girl that was just struck by lightning.
I let Salieri get hit.
The charred Vine Whips unraveled off of Bill’s crispy limbs and slowly fell off of Chen Zhen’s wrists. The whips rotted and decayed in a matter of seconds, the dead plant matter dissolving into the air almost immediately after. It would someday return to the earth as a budding new flower.
Chen Zhen felt far from being a budding flower. He felt more like one of his whips. He wasn’t unconscious like Salieri, or banged up like Liuye Dao. But he was still slightly fried by the leftover electricity that had coursed through him. Fortunately, he resisted Electricity.
[Wow,] the Pansage uttered to break the post battle silence, a small cloud of smoke escaping his lips along with the words. He ran over to Salieri, stepping carelessly on top of the Plasma grunt to get to her faster.
[Sal? Salieri, can you get up?] he asked her, shaking the girl’s body. She remained silent. [Looks like she’s knocked out,] he told Liuye while taking a leaf off of his head. He crumbled it up in his hands and dropped it into her open mouth, moving her jaw to make her chew it up. [I can only relieve the exhaustion her body feels. She’ll wake up sooner, but she still needs to be checked out. Liuye Dao, are you okay?]
I let. Salieri. Get hit.
The Battle Girl’s Pawniard stared off into space, searching for an answer to why he would ever do such a thing. It had been for the best, right? If he had taken the attack, Bill would still be up and so would Watchog. Chen Zhen and Salieri would have their hands full, including worrying about himself. And it looked like it had been the right choice. Now their enemy was incapacitated for the time being. Topper was healed up, but in his resting state he was useless and Liuye Dao could just Thunder Wave him again. No matter what way Liuye looked at it, it had been the right decision to make.
But I let Salieri get hit.
[Liuye?] Chen Zhen walked up to his friend and waved his hand back and forth in front of the Pawniard. He knew Liuye’s Inner Focus let him focus on one thing without interruption, but now was not the time. [Earth to Liuye Dao, are you listening? We have to go.]
Liuye’s eyes darted over to Chen Zhen, and was handed another leaf from the grass monkey’s head. The Pansage looked over to the sleeping Watchog, who’s healing was nearly over. [We don’t know how long he’ll be knocked out for, but I can make it so he has trouble coming after us. Can you help me roll him over?]
Gulping down the leaf, Liuye nodded and walked over to the Watchog’s side with his friend. Rest didn’t last as long as a good night’s sleep, but during it Watchog would be in a sleep deep enough that moving his body would not wake him. They quickly worked to get Watchog and Bill back to back on the ground.
Chen Zhen rubbed his palms together, his pink tongue sticking out of the side of his mouth and his brow furrowed in concentration. [Right, here it goes.] He separated his hands and rose his palms into the air over the bodies. Two Vine Whips snaked out of his wrists, moving like they had a life of their own around the Plasma lackeys until they had wrapped all the way around. The vines then disconnected from Chen Zhen’s wrists with a little POP!, and then the grass monkey leaned down to tie a knot with the leftover vines as best he could with mitten hands. [I haven’t really gotten to making them wrap into knots yet, so doing this myself is the best we can do for now.] Nevertheless, the bodies were wrapped up from head to toe. Chen Zhen had also banded there foreheads together so Topper would have to look straight ahead when he awoke.
[Now let’s get out of here, before he wakes up. Those vines won’t hold him forever.]
The duo of small pokemon got to their trainer. Liuye carried Sal’s legs while Chen Zhen grabbed her head, and then they ran down the tunnel as fast as they could. They needed to get out now, for Salieri and Salem’s sake.

D-Vee, weakened from using Endure, could barely stand, but he was enraged by the man that had just appeared and the Mienshao that had accompanied him.
[Get away from them!] D-Vee hollered. In almost no time at all, he had painted a marking on the ground, and a blast of water shot towards the man and the pokemon, ignoring Robert's Pokemon, but also wary to use an attack that wouldn't get in their way.

"Don't apologize for something this creep did," Eunmi said, her hands closed in tight fists as she glared at the grunt. "Just stay back and don't move your arm too much.
"I'm not much of a pokemon trainer, but that's not what you have to worry about," she said to the grunt as she dashed at him, swinging angrily at his face.

s**t was about to get a little bit more real than any of the trainers underground could imagine. Well, actually, they were probably going to think it was just plain ridiculous, but it was going to get a bit more real. Robby moved along in his signature waddle with a new bag of chips in hand, about to open it when, from completely out of nowhere, something caught his foot. Whoah! was the thought that came from him, as the Dreamyard was about to get a whole lot less safe for children to run around in.
The obese lad hit the ground with his stomach, and as he did, the ground broke out from under him. As he fell, like anyone normally, he would begin panicking at first, and wouldn't actually be preparing any countermeasures. As a result, the obese lad fell like a rock, and would smash into the ground where the five knights were fighting the heroic trainer. And then, the ground would break under him again, and he would fall through it once more.
Cracks would move out along the ground at first, as it would begin to give way from the people who had been standing on it. As the cracks moved, the larger bits would occasionally fall, or so it would seem if things were moving in slow motion. They were actually spreading quite fast, and the old floors were proving that they weren't quite able to take the epic L-bomb's hit. As a result, much of, if not all of, the floor that the trainers had been duking it out on would be broken in moments.
Now Robby was lucky. As he was falling, the first floor broke his fall a bit, and enough of the floor had broken away with him to give him room to do what he had to without getting crushed by falling ceiling. His feet would be under him now, and as he hit the ground, he would bend the knees, and instantly move forward as though he had thrown himself, moving in a surprising flip for a lad his size, and move into a roll with his shoulder touching the ground first, moving a way to diffuse the force of landing without breaking himself down. He would end on his feet, hand down to stop himself, and during the roll, one would have heard a "Hyah!" in his most Link-like voice ever.
The first thing the obese lad would notice? His chips were gone.

((FROM HERE ON OUT, DO NOT INTERRUPT SOMEONE'S BATTLE WITHOUT PERMISSION. I MEAN, YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT, BUT CONSIDER IF EXTREMELY RUDE. IF YOU DON'T MIND PLEASE PUT IT IN YOUR POST FOR PEOPLE TO SEE, IF YOU DO MIND, SAY SOMETHING. AS FOR ME, PLEASE DON'T JUMP INTO MY BATTLE.))
ROBERT AND D-VEE'S ASSAULT was launched. Mienshao, who gave off that overwhelming pressure, placed his thrusting palm outward. Force Palm, the exploding force causing both the psychic blast and the water to become destabilize in their form and crash down around the attacking enemies, the force of the shockwave pushing the energies and water away from Mienshao and his master.
As for Robert, he was safe from this by launching himself into battle. However, his combo ended instantly, at the first punch. Caught by one hand as the Sage turned to him, the Sage's own hand launching out. Sure! Robert could trade his second blow for this one, but then it would leave Robert the devastated one.
To put it simply, the Sage's technique was special. By use of Aura(chi, qui, chakra, etc, which the crew won't get to use, yet at least), energy would be pushed into Robert should he come in contact with the fist(block, parry, glance, taking the direct shot, touching it basically), and a second or two later that energy would explode, shockwaving the force throughout Robert's body, a move that crippled lesser opponents and, for this Sage, it tended to end fist fights instantly. So his other fist shot out with this power, aimed to catch Robert in the gut.
***
LIUYE AND CHEN ZEN'S DARING ESCAPE was met with no resistance, but soon Topper was awake. Noticing the vines, he forced a Flame Thrower through his nose, torching the vines, setting them alight, and burning both him and Bill. Once he was free, or able to get there on his own, he got Bill and himself away from the flames and, with a Rock Smash, he broke Bill's armor. The man had been seriously burned but he was alive, so Topper slapped him.
"Augh!" cried Bill as he woke up. "What? You-
SLAP
"Alright, alright, where did they go?" asked Bill in a weak voice. Topper shrugged and Bill looked toward the exit. They must have gone that way! Climbing to his feet, Bill remembered to take the cup from his pants and throw it away. No WAY he was getting shocked because of it again. So, the duo headed off, giving chase!
"WE'RE GONNA GET YOU, ******** LOOKED TO EUNMI, the girl had come to her rescue it would seem. Again, actually. So, Henrietta stayed back but she felt an ache in her chest. Not from an injury, but from the pain of failure. She'd tried, she'd been the first to jump into action and she'd lost, pushed aside by someone else and told to stay back. So casually it almost seemed okay. Almost.
As for the Grunt? He dipped himself back, avoiding the fist.
On to Takamaru's gang Spike was underground and, apparently, hadn't noticed the oncoming Fire Fang Sandile, so that hit, the Sandile biting into his flank.
Iron Hide's attack hit, hurting Purrloin, but not nearly as much as the Aron would have had he actually used an existing move.
Takamaru ran to Drilbur's side, and the Grunt turned and gave chase.
Rolling as he hit the ground, the leader returned to his feet easily and he turned to face Saden.
Xavier simply launched himself into an attack. It was a simple idea, if Trubbish couldn't dodge, neither could Xavier. It was simple, as Xavier hit the Sludge Wave exploded from Trubbish, the force would throw Xavier away as well as damage him at a distance that was impossible to dodge at, if you were being hit by a wave anyways. Course, he might be able to move quickly, reversing his momentum and regaining his balance, by some miracle of the gods.
Trubbish himself? He was launched by the Aerial Ace due to his size and weight, allowing him to avoid the Ice Punch.
"Up!" warned Scraggy and Scraggy jumped up, letting the ball piece fly toward, or possibly, likely, into Santa.
Then the ground broke from underneath everyone, courtesy of Robby.
***
And then the fights separated...
SADEN
Albert, the leader of the expedition of Plasma Grunts, would find himself falling soon after getting to his feet. Seeing the falling debris he'd kick off one of the chunks before landing skillfully, with a parkour stylized roll, to right himself at the bottom. He then turn to find that Saden would land closest to him. A smile played across his lips, logically Saden's pokemon would land near him as well(logic=we're separating the battles, bring your Pokemon all to you).
"Guess we can't play anymore," he said and he released his own Pokemon, Krookodile.
TK
Olesya found herself falling instead of chasing Takmaru. Still, though, she had room to move. A piece of debris was nearby and she kicked off of it, sending herself to the far wall which she kicked off of before landing with a wince from her shins. It hurt, but the pain vanished almost instantly.
Purrloin landed skillfully by her side and she turned to face Takamaru. "Looks like you lost your friends," she commented.
ROBBY
Robby had landed expertly. It was a good one, impressive actually. So impressive it was met with clapping from the other skillful Grunt who was now approaching, Trubbish perched on his shoulder.
"Bravo," said Issie and then a crunch from his next step. Issei looked down to see that he'd stepped on a bag of chips. "Yours?" asked Issei before he turned his foot right to left several times, thoroughly crushing each and every single chip.
EUNMI
Scraggy, who was in the air at the last minute, would find himself falling last. He'd see his mistress and he'd position himself to dive down to reach her faster. As they got close he'd push her away before landing, kicking off the ground and launching himself to be at her side.
Leonarda, who landed as gracefully as she could, looked ahead to see her opponent. Scraggy reached her side and the both would look upon Eunmi.
"Well, hello," she said.
HENRIETTA
Henrietta found herself falling. Moments ago she was with Eunmi, relatively safe. In pain, but safe. Now she found herself alone again. Unable to break her fall she hit the ground, hard, with a cry of pain. Slowly she propped herself up on her good arm and she looked ahead through messy hair that had fallen over her head. Her vision was of burgundy and a tiny yellow.
"Jol!" cried Socant.
"Socant," Henrietta said and, with great effort, she climbed up to her knees and looked at the tiny Pokemon. "I was worried about you," she said.
"How touching," said Jeffery, the man who was strangling her before. "Looks like it's just you and me," he said as Sandile arrived at his side.

Robby looked at what the grunt did. His eyes were on the chips, and he couldn't register what was being said by the opponent. Words were unnecessary now. There was only one possible option here, one thing he could do that would be right. Robby released Roast, as Bacon was down for the count, with a cry of "SPIT!"
Roast, not really understanding that this was an enemy she had to fight against in a death-match sort of thing, and not really getting that maybe he meant to hit the leader, would fire a water gun at the Trubbish, aiming to knock it off the trainer's shoulder. It would be like one of those carnival games! Or she'd know that, if, y'know, she'd been to a carnival.

The battle had begun! Trubbish jumped into the air and fired down a Sludge Bomb at Roast while Issei ducked underneath the water gun and pushed himself forward, the chips scraping with his foot and then the bag would fly into the air, torn open, the crushed chips spilling out onto the dirty ground.
Issei quickly closed the distance and launched a steel clad fist for Robby's jaw as he rose up in uppercut mode.

And thus, both pokemon would have wasted a move, as Roast would move to the side to dodge, continuing to move, and would fire another watergun, after noticing in her peripherals that Robby wasn't going to be just sitting things out.
Robby, meanwhile, had made a very important decision. His body no longer mattered! Those chips... Those chips had been sacre- His fist came down, his weight behind it, in an exchange of blows sort of deal, for the knight. It aimed directly at the face, aiming to smash into the left eye. With the shift in how he stood, odds were, the target would have changed for his opponent. Somehow, someway, he was also holding a bag of chips in his other hand.

((People can jump into this pursuit if they wanna, and if Trop's cool with it))
[Was that guy part of that Team Plasma group we saw yesterday?] Chen Zhen asked as they ran while holding their trainer. Their footsteps were in sync as they ran down the tunnel, with Chen Zhen leading the way. They’d have to climb back up the garbage disposal wall, which would be incredibly difficult thanks to the smooth steel walls that were very high. Or at least, it would be hard without the Pansage’s new and convenient Vine Whips.
[I thought they were pokemon lovers. Was that guy out of his mind?] They arrived back at the disposal and conveyor belt that had previously plagued Salieri and Wayne. Chen Zhen motioned to the door while hoisting the KO’ed girl’s body onto his shoulder, and Liuye Dao looked over to it. His blades glowed with purple light, and with two swipes of his claws he sent out Psycho Cuts in the shape of an X to the top of the door to cause the ceiling over it to collapse. Now the only way in or out was to go through the top of the disposal.
The Pawniard turned back to see that Chen Zhen was already at the top. [Make sure she’s safe, okay?] the grass monkey told Liuye while lowering four Vine Whips from his position. It seemed that his maximum amount was four at a time: he wondered whether he could train to increase that number or not.
The vines crept around Salieri and knotted themselves, tying up the girl as safely as possible. Liuye Dao jumped onto his trainer in order to be hoisted up along with her. Any second now, the Watchog would be awake. The block at the door would slow them down until Topper found a safe way to remove the rubble without allowing the compromised ceiling to fall upon them. And after that, he’d have to figure out a way up the garbage disposal’s tall, slick walls.
Salieri’s breathing was getting heavier and louder. Was she coming to? Liuye leaned over his trainer, who’s eyes fluttered while she reached out her hand slowly. With her eyes barely open, she smiled weakly and stroked hi head gently with two fingers. “Thanks…buddy…you saved me back there…”
Gulping, the Pawniard felt a guilty lump in the back of his throat. The kind words of thanks felt like a knife. He just nodded back slowly as Saieri began to wake up some more. She grit her teeth. “Moving is a b***h right now. How’s the other guy? Is he looking worse?”
Liuye nodded again and she sighed in relief as the two continued to ascend slowly thanks to Chen Zhen’s reeling them in. They were getting close to the surface of the Dreamyard again. “Excellent.”

Robert twisted his body in the direction of the hand that was gripping his in order to avoid the incoming fist from the opposite hand, not knowing the kind of power it held and quite frankly, not wanting to know. However, with the sage's hands both occupied in an action (one holding Robert's open palm, the other either finishing or recovering from the launching the punch, Robert swiftly crouched downwards and spun himself in the opposite direction, attempting a powerful sweep kick aimed at the backside of the man's knee. If it were to hit, the blow would strike the siatic nerve and deaden the leg for a brief time. At best, it would cause the sage to fall backwards.
"Light Screen! Me First! Mirror Move! " Robert called out. Given the amount of power Robert saw the Meinshao exert, Robert needed all of his bases covered for his Pokemon. The combined Light Screne with the previous Reflect would give his Pokemon more staying power. His Combuskin readied herself to mirror any move that the Meinshao was going to unleash, and his Lucario used her Me First move to pull off whatever move the Meinshao was preparing to use and with greater power.

Trubbish built up the energy of Stockpile, raising his defenses as the WAter Gun hit, sending him backward. As he descended to land on the ground he released a wave of Toxic Spikes toward Roast. If they stuck Roast would end up poisoned and that poison could be stacked, in other words if Roast was stuck by too many she'd end up Badly Poisoned.
Issei shifted himself as he tried to retreat but all he managed to do was change the location in which Robby hit, smashing his armor and shattering it. Issei was thrown backward, stunned by the display of force as his armor exploded, chunks of it threatening to slice Robby's hand and arm.
Issei hit the ground hard and rolled, rising to his feet and pulling off his gauntlets and then the shattered chest plate, just needless weight now. Lighter and, thus, faster, Issei waited for Robby to move as his grit in teeth at the pain in his chest.
***
Topper and Bill heard the collapsing in the distance. As they ran they soon came across the debris blocking off the garbage disposal.
"Tch, blast it!" Bill ordered and Topper formed two Focus Blasts, shoving them into the debris and blasting it into the room. As the roof, shaken by this, began to fall from a wider area, Bill and Topper charged in, taking some damage from the debris but, somehow, someway, they seemed like pretty implacable men.
Covered in dust, mud, hair a mess, armor removed and muscles ripping through the skin tight suit underneath, Bill wasn't half bad looking. Like someone out of an action movie.
As they ran in the duo noted the escape, it was too late to stop it, but not too late for an attack.
"Bring them down," said Bill and Topper was already acting at the sound of the 'B'. Another Focus Blast, this one aimed for the ceiling, the ground underneath for the Pansage. Even if they dodged it, or got up just in time the ceiling would come down around them, forcing the trio back underground.

Chen Zhen’s feet were embedded into the earth to brace himself as he pulled up Salieri and Liuye Dao’s weight. He was retracting his vines as fast as he could, but it was still not a quick process. But they were almost home free.
Liuye Dao and Salieri’s heads jerked down to see where the sound of the explosion came from, and in walked Bill and Watchog. Bill’s condition was definitely bad, but he had still managed to get up. These guys did not quit. The blade pokemon was beginning to think that the real brains behind the operation was Topper. It's persistence was almost demonic.
“Hey, is his armor off?” Salieri noticed in excitement. "It is, isnt it? What an idiot!" she growled as she began to struggle in the vines. It looked like she was recovering her stamina quickly, just like her ginger foe. “Let me out of here! I’m going down there to kick his-mmmph!”
The cold steel of the flat of Liuye’s hand muffled Salieri’s mouth, and the Battle Girl calmed herself. Rocking back and forth like that wasn’t making Chen Zhen’s job any easier. And even with her durable body, she wouldn’t fare well jumping down at them from the height she was at now. She rolled her eyes. “Mmmf murm mmmm!”
Her Pawniard removed his hand. “Fine, I won’t go down there. Just intercept them, will ya?”
He hadn’t received a direct order from her the entire previous battle. It was somewhat comforting for him to hear Sal’s command, even if she came across as bossy. Liuye Dao’s bladed hands glowed purple once more as Watchog formed his ball of chi.
The Focus Blast was fired, and so was the X-shaped Psycho Cut. If it had stopped the Thunderbolt before, surely it could stop the Focus Blast. After all, the psychic energies caused fighting types to crumble. The same principle would hold true for their attacks.
The attacks met in a stunning clash of purple and blue waves of light before dispersing in a wide shockwave, blowing Salieri’s hair back and causing her to wince. The debris on the conveyor belt rumbled, some of it falling loosely onto the ground as a result of being dislodged by the force of the shockwave. She looked to see that her Pawniard remained unflinching and casually staring down at his opponent. The sun shone down on his steel body, causing it to sparkle in the light. Liuye Dao…you are so cool! she mentally cooed.
With a final grunt, Chen Zhen heaved with all his might and pulled the duo onto the edge of the deep pit. His vines unwrapped and snapped back into his wrists as Salieri got to her feet, brushing herself off. “No time to loose now,” she told her pokemon while shaking her head. Like magic, her hair returned to it’s normal wavy condition, although without her hair tie it cascaded down to her waist loosely. “Let’s go get the police or something, this guy is a creep!”
There was no arguing there. Salieri led the way in a jog out through the grassy area she had originally fallen from to find the exit. She had had enough of the Dreamyard.
