James jumps over the railing.
"Wait, my sexy goddess! You need a guy who'll worship the ground you walk on! A guy who'll help you carry the heavy burden on your back! One who'll grab those heavy loads, squeeze 'em tight and never let 'em go..."
This continued on as James followed Karen off the field and inside. Hartley facepalmed.

With the detentions apparently over, Digger and Evan strolled over to the field and had a seat by Hartley.
"Good news, Piper. Completin' my detention convinced the Principal that I'm a reformed lad, an' I'm in for Homecoming. She was specially impressed that I turned in that evidence on Achilles stead'a taking matters into me own hands."
Evan grinned, and gave Achilles a wave across the bleachers as he kicked his feet up on the seats in front of him. Digger scowled, though.
"I'ma find the bugger that took my boomerangs an' get 'em back. I spent weeks on those!"
Hartley casually pointed down where the cheerleaders were warming up.
"Well, there he is. Can you get them back without getting more detention? Bet you can't."
Digger thought about it, and grinned as Powell walked up to them.
"That's a bet I'll take for sure."
Hartley looked at Powell and gave him a nod.
"I'm Thomas Peterson. And this is Evan McCullough and Digger Harkness. Sup?"
Somewhere inside of the locker room, the sound of James smacking into a bank of lockers crashed out into the stadium.
"WHAT A WOMAN!!!!"

Digger snorts.
"He's like a wallaby in heat. He won't let up till he breaks down her defenses an' her sanity. She'll go to the dance with him. Say, mate. Sorry about that ruckus yesterday. Stress of schoolwork n' all that. What say we call it all Alice an' give a shake?"
Digger extends his hand to Powell. Hartley wonders just what the hell exactly Digger just said.

**growled as he saw Evan and shook his head when Joanna Cargill, the only female member of Hero High's football team and aptly named Frenzy, slapped Achilles on the arm**
Don't let that prissy piece of trash get to you. We got plans to get you back in this game We don't intend to let Len risk our winning our own Homecoming game.

Evan stands up and whistles a couple times.
"Ey fellas, think I'll be takin' a walk. Make sure that wee soft-headed fool James isn't bleeding out. See ye when I see ye."
Evan walks down the bleachers, giving Achilles a wink. He pauses, flashes Achilles a couple of times with a pocket mirror, and then steps down onto the field, heading back towards the locker room.

Boomer looks confused.
"No mate, I was just sayin' that we should cut the earbash afore everything goes Rafferty's rules up in here, stop the knockin' and do a shake to make everything Alice."
Hartley turned his attention to Len on the field. He knocked down another player, spun around and nailed a pass to Wally West, who dashed across the field at incredible speeds for a touchdown.

Digger takes a step back and gives Hartley a "I'M TRYING" look as Hartley tries to look stern and not laugh.
"What're ya, a dag? I just wanna bung my boomerangs back an' make everything Alice between us!"
Meanwhile, Coach Cage high-fives Wally and sends him into the locker room to shower and clean up.

So where was Cassie during all of this.. running laps.. over and over again thus missing the game.. Finally she was released from the grasp of the evil coach Harley... she went into the girls locker room took a shower and changed then went out into the hallway drinking a bottle of water.

In the girl's locker room, Karen, hand on her forehead stands over the decimated James.
"If I say yes, will you LEAVE me alone?!"
Bruised, James grins.
"Sure thing, gorgeous!"
"Fine. YES, I will go to homecoming with you. It was either that or stay home and rearrange my globes anyways."
Karen looks in horror at James' reaction.
"MY SNOWGLOBES."
"Call them whatever you want, my tactile goddess. I'll pick you up at six."
James limps off to find some ice.
Meanwhile, in the men's locker room, Wally finishes his shower and starts redressing.
