   "Oh? That is quite the compliment! " Could she ask for anything more then that? To be rated higher then his precious duels! That was unexpected. Though did she really believe he would put a duel over her? Probably not, but it was still a nice thing to hear, coming from him. "Of course! Where ever the princess of peerless beauty goes, greatness follows! " She said with that same confidant, beaming face! She really was a character, it never ended with her! His next words brought a smile to her face, and she hugged him a little tighter. L'Arachel was confidant in her ability to bring any evil creature down, that included Reapers. But hearing him speak of protecting her? It always melted her heart a little." If we were within a city, or a strange place I would have thought about that, it is this place, however, I don't think there is much to fear, expect maybe a few biting insects! " She could say at least 12 mysterious insects have taken a bite out her already. "It can't be helped, of course...my radiance attracts all kinds of things! " Yes, even the bugs wanted to taste her sweet blood. It was quite a surprise no Reaper had ever really gone after her yet. Should she be insulted by that??
L'Arachel paused, her face softening as she leaned against him with her arms still holding him closest as she could be. A tinge of red coming across her cheeks. "Oh..Ephraim..It's not often you bring me to speechlessness, but you have won this round, my love..I do apologize if I caused you worry.." She did mean that, it wasn't her intentions at all to make him worry and look for her! Though she probably should have informed the others to let him know in case he did ask. At least then he would have been able to find her quicker. As the two shared the loving kiss, her grip loosened only slightly around him, so to hold him in a softer embrace as their loving moment continued by the serene waterfalls..
Hiyori smiled playfully, even a little mischievous! If it was one thing she LOVED doing, it was teasing Reiner, even more so lately. It wasn't until that day at the arena within Marvel city that Hiyori really began to tease him much more.As she did here, so very enjoyably. "Oh, later, huh? Or we could do it now.." She grinned. "There's plenty of hidden caves around this island, you know.." She whispered into his ear, an obvious seductiveness' to her voice! And it was only a moment after her playful teasing, that she would be rewarded with......exactly what she wanted! Even more so then she expected as his lips returned to her own, a passionate kiss that even outmatched her own, her heart was beginning to race as the moment became so wonderfully intense, it was as though she were as light as a feather the way he lifted her in those impressively strong arms, his aggressiveness didn't stop there, as her back would be against the tree seconds after he lifted her! In the end, did Hiyori really seem so worried about the 'danger's' of teasing Reiner? ...the soft moan into his lips as they kissed may of said otherwise. She was enjoying every moment! With arms around his shoulders, it was only fair she wrapped her legs around his waist ..soo innocently.!

    Somewhere on the vastly massive island, Sephriea was standing in the very shallow waters, her normal clothing still on, as well as her boots! Nothing about Sephriea changed, even on this peaceful island. No one, not Tifa, not Aerith, not a soul living could get her to change into strange, near naked clothing. She was fine the way she was, as far as she seen it. Not that she had plans to swim, her focus was on the moving creatures in the water. The innocent, helpless fish swimming around her feet as she stood completely still. With her sword in her hand, pointing down toward the water, she continued to watch the swimming fish....................until! The blade struck through the water, spearing one of the larger fish there right through, as she lifted it up to show the one standing next to her. Her expression never changed, not even for a second! "Incredible! Great job, Sephriea! You are very good at this! " Tifa said in excitement, clasping her hands together in excitement. This wasn't the first fish Sephriea caught, there were...several, if not a dozen fish laying not so living in a bucket of water, just as the new one was thrown in. "...I was raised to kill.." She said blankly, could she be anymore dull? Sephriea saw this as just a part of life, it was nothing special, there was no talent involved. It was..what she lived to do, wasn't it? "Is this enough? " She asked her, her expression just as emotionless as ever. It was a wonder if she could ever have any emotions at all. "Ah,ha..." Poor Tifa, she was trying so hard to liven her up somehow, she thought maybe this might bring some thrill to her, some form of excitement, anything, but it was still the same. Sephriea had no emotions to show, no happiness, not even a small smile. She just did as she was asked, and never thought more of it. Tifa did have a reason for this, there were a lot of people here, and a lot of them were going to be hungry soon...fire-roasted fish under the night sky might bring some much needed joy out, but it was clear to Tifa, she would not suceed in enlightening Sephriea's heart any. "That will be enough, Sephriea.. Thank you! Everyone will be happy thanks to your hard work.. " She said with a smile. "It wasn't hard work...? ..I just.--" "Let's go back, shall we? " Tifa cut her off, she didn't really want to hear her say she lived to kill again!

       Cissnei let out a soft, quiet sigh, turning and just as quietly walking away from the area she had been watching from. Although everyone would be oblivious to her presence, she had been here surprisingly longer then everyone else! Having heard their plans to come to the island, Cissnei made sure she would arrive first, as to give her enough time to survey the land and become at least a little familiar with it. If she was going to be spying on a bunch of hero's, Serentians, and the like, she probably better have a good idea where she needed to go if she didn't want to be found out.
But this was becoming a little to troublesome, she didn't think of one thing. The day that brought so many people together, and it certainly seemed the two she was watching moments ago, were living in their own little moment! It was...a bit awkward, and she couldn't keep watching the couple while they were together like this. After leaving them to their moment, she began to wander to another direction, discretely as to not attract any unwanted attention...

That is the king I wish to become, and so that is the man I must be." After taking care of some important business, Ephraim had changed back to his normal outfit for the time being. There would be more time for frivolity in the waters later. Ephraim was a perceptive man, and war had honed his survival instincts. Part of that was intuition--and knowing when he was being watched. More than a few Grado squads would've had the jump on him without these skills, and once he began to believe he was being monitored, all it took was some careful glances and subtle looks to catch moving shadows. These confirmed his suspicions, but it took a very subtle individual indeed to sneak around a group of some of the strongest Serenitians who lived. This skill was not lost on him, so he knew better than try to call them out lest they escape unnoticed. And there was precious little he could learn from someone who didn't stick around.
Instead, he watched for their movements, and eventually moved quietly in an intercept trajectory. And indeed, his cunning proved fruitful, as Cissnei would see an intimidating-looking spear facing her when next she turned. "You're a skilled woman to sneak around a group of powerful Serenitians," he complimented--then, a spark of familiarity. "Wait--I recognize you. You attacked me at the arena. You're with Shinra. Why are you here?" (( OOC: ))

It was as though instinct took over her body before even she realized herself, as she was faced with the spear pointed at her, Rekka would be within his vision also. Though she didn't make any other moves against him..yet. "He is even better then I imagined...to notice me! I was right, he is definitely the one I need.." She thought to herself. "You are correct, though as for why I'm here...Business. " Keeping it vague was her only option, if she wanted this to go her way. She had to look suspicious, even dangerous. "You have had a lot of bad luck on this island, haven't you? To think someone like yourself, could become hexed so easily.." She was watching all this time, with her main focus primarily on Ephraim himself as he might of guessed. "Care to test yourself against me once more? I can't allow you to inform the others about my presence here.." A challenge to a duel against Cissnei, this would certainly be an interesting fight. The determination in her eyes showed just how serious about winning she was. There could be no mistakes on her end!

Are you all hoping to catch us unawares and attack us while we're relaxing? You may be disappointed that we aren't so easily surprised." ...Well, some of them weren't. Ephraim noticing her was a good indication of that, but not everyone was quite as alert as he was. "...It sounds as though you've been observing me for a while. Am I your mark, then? What could Shinra possibly want with me?" He may be a skilled warrior and strategist, but he didn't think that made him particularly valuable to them. Especially not compared to the Cetra or royal Serenitians gathered here... There had to be something else to this, but he couldn't put his finger on it. "Very well. Something you'll have to learn about me--" He stepped in, swinging his spear horizontally towards her Rekka, attempting to slash it aggressively right out of her hand and send it flying--and immediately after, slam the shaft of his spear into her gut. Had that worked, he moved one leg behind her legs, forcing his shoulder into her to force her down onto her back, at which point he'd point Siegmund towards her throat. "--I don't pick fights I can't win." He had driven off her and her allies at the arena, he had no intention of losing here, when it was only the two of them.(( OOC: ))

  "It's no surprise to anyone how skilled you are in battle, how quick you are to think in the midst of it. Why would they not have a high interest in you? -- Everyone here trusts you. Every single person, including the Cetra and the Serenitians. My guess is they will use you to get to them, as everything they have tried has so far failed. " It seemed like the most logical reason she could come up with. As he made his first move against her, Cissnei would make her own skills obvious to him as she so effortlessly moved to the side with haste, completely avoiding his first strike, and before he could reposition the spear she moved in with impressive speed, raising her leg to strike him harshly in the gut to send him back a few feet. With any luck, he would meet one of the near by tree's for additional pain to slowly begin weakening him. "It appears on this island......you do.." She said with a taunting smirk, raising Rekka as one of the green orbs within it began to shine, striking down a thundering bolt of lightning towards him. Though they were not at their strongest as they could be, as she needed him alive and well enough, they were enough to bring him down after he was hit with a few, she only needed to weaken him enough!

Given how good she seemed to be at discretion, it likely wasn't the latter. He'd need to be careful. "Though if they hope to indoctrinate me, I don't envy their chances." If he had anything, it was incredibly strong willpower. Carmen learned that quite thoroughly earlier!
Well, not off to the best start, as his opening move went completely wide as his opponent showed her impressive speed and dexterity, and capitalized on his missed attack expertly. "Gah!" He let out as her shoe made contact, knocking him back into a nearby tree. He wasn't sure which stung more--her words, or that taunting smirk. If she was trying to get under his skin with that attitude, she was doing a good job--and someone with her skillset would probably know that. He raised his guard to protect himself against her spell, but the thunder magic still certainly wasn't pleasant. With his back to the wall though, it was all he could do to try to defend himself.
Immediately after her spell, he'd suddenly charge forward, attempting to tackle her onto the ground! With her speed, getting her down could surely only benefit him. Even though he was fast himself, she seemed particularly good at dodging his attacks. Had he managed to get her down, he'd move over her, pressing the shaft of his spear against her throat, pushing it against her to start to cut off her air supply! (Following his critical failure and Cissnei's successful taunting attempts, Ephraim rolls with disadvantage! Roll two dice, use the lowest result.)(( OOC: ))

" We'll soon find out.." She responded, if anything, that was the only thing ShinRa had yet to really learn about. They knew just about everything else about Ephraim after so long, but they didn't know just how strong his willpower really was. How strong was he to resist what they would try to do to him? Cissnei was quick to read her opponents moves, though Ephraim was unique, while she may of faulted in thinking he would be down at least seconds longer, he surprised her with a near instant recovery, the thundering spell doing little to keep the king down as he began to charge her! It was that small mistake on Cissnei's part that would lead to her suddenly down with her back against the ground, and those piercing blue eyes baring down at her as he successfully tackled her down! Fortunately for her she knew what he was about to do next following his movements, this would be a near end for her had she passed out from lack of oxygen. Seh couldn't lt that happen, and her hands quickly raised to grab a hold of the shaft of his spear, attempting to force it away from her neck, had he been focused on keeping it down, he might forget something.... Something very important, and that was where her knee would end up, striking it upward to cause him...much more pain then she hoped to, given where she slammed her knee in hopes to get him off her!
