Pueblo had begun to get up again to attempt the towel challenge before a new face had sprung up right in front of her. "Atch!" She cringed, raising her arms up a little in defense before she saw who it was. She never enjoyed loud noises that much, especially unexpected ones.
"Oh-soo?" She pronounced flatly remembering that the letter 'o' was pronounced 'oh'. Her emerald eyes ran up and down his figure and even stared at the black streak in his hair for a moment. "H-hi," she trembled and attempted to bow just like she used to as a gryphon. Osu's new form gave her nervous feelings- she hadn't played with another child before. She gave a quick look over her shoulder to Fae just to make sure she was still there. Her head turned back to Osu and asked, "Wut's dat?" refering to the tall green bamboo pole.
Fae reached down to pick up the lost items, and before she had time to reply to Ieyasu, Syrenrei's answer made her jump. Standing back up and hugging the towels to her chest, she noticed the only thing covering Sy was just that; a towel. She looked between Sy and Ieyasu and seemed to be connecting dots. "Did I intterupt something?" she choked as she watched Ieyasu spread out against the side of the spring. x_x

"Interrupt...? Oh no, me and Ieyasu? Wouldn't that be a hoot!" She sat down next to Ieyasu, face a little flushed from the heat, and handed him a beer. Instead of smelling like beer, she smelled of some sort of wine. Well, okay, maybe she had started with a more... girly drink. "No, I've been seeing Aly." The top popped off the beer and it seemed to freeze over lightly in her hand. Pausing to stare at the beer a moment, she then took a swig.
Well. Even if her mum was being strange she wasn't about to be left by herself! Especially unnoticed!! They should definately have been worrying about her now or something. She was an important figure and all. Creeping out from behind the screen, she paused to think about which figure seemed like the lesser of the evils to appeal to. After all, she needed someone to fawn over her and console her about her mum's behavior. The Aerandir children would obviously be jealous of her beauty, and plus they were stupid-evolved-heads. Ieyasu was *ew* in the water VOLUNTARILY... so Fae seemed safest. Delta half-skittered half-pranced behind the stranger.

Ieyasu grinned as Syrenrei followed in with a case of beer. He had figured that she must be about. As Fae asked about himself and Syrenrei, he suddenly laughed. "Maybe it would be a hoot for you. I think I'd be in trouble though." He grinned, accepting the proffered beer. Even without the sensitive sense of smell that came as part and parcel of being kitsune, it would have been easy to smell the drink on her. He wondered idly just how much she'd had. Ieyasu had vague memories of what had happened the last time he'd seen her drunk, afterall. He also decided not to mention the fact that she was on the male side. He'd thrown Sydney out the last time... but she had pissed him off.
Popping the top off of his own beer, he took a long drink.
Osu seemed not to notice Pueblo's nervousness as he grinned brightly at her. "Uh huh! Aw-su!" he replied, pointing to his chest. At her question, he turned, looking to where she was pointing. With a sudden giggle, he ran over to the pole where he had left it. "Yassu say staf!" he stated matter of factly, picking it up for a moment. "It special. Pwetty." He beamed back at her. Osu hadn't quite mastered speaking in sentences yet.

Fae's eyes continued darting between them and then....Syrenrei was on the wrong side besided the unclothed half-demon! She could smell the alcohol on Sy as well when she walked by and gasped quietly. How dare she drink in front of innocent children!! Not that the drinking part was as serious, but already being less than sober....
"Huh?" Her uprising was put on hold when she felt a soft bump against her leg while Pueblo chatted with Osu in front of her. "Delta? What're you doing he..." Oh, that was right. She was Sy's Aerandir. So there were still gryphons running about beside Tsukai? But as if reading the poor little Aerandir's eyes, she looked over to Sy and frowned upon Delta. Fae had never felt so responsible of younger people than herself before as she did now. As tempting as it was to grab this opportunity as a leap of socialism and gaining stronger friendships, it wouldn't be the responsible thing to do when there were three children around. Sighing, she knelt onto her knees on top of the ground to watch everyone while she gently stroked Delta's neck. "There's a pretty girl," she murmured to the little gryphon as she kept glancing up to the two children.
Pueblo had leaned a little closer to stare where Osu pointed on his chest, then flinched back and blinked excitedly. "Stuh...aff?" she mimiced and ran across her tongue a few times. She padded closer to the pole wanting to reach out and touch it. She cocked her head a little in thought- it didn't look like any art tool she had seen before. She placed her thumb and index finger into her chin to strike a thinking pose, then suddenly straightened out with a shocked look across her face. "I gots spechial....too!" she umgrammtically spoke back, then quickly turned around to grab for her paint brush that she carried around with her everywhere. Holding it out in her palms for him to see, she beamed back, equally as proud of her artifact. Her tail gave a little flicker behind her excitedly as she waited for his reaction.

Of course she was a pretty girl! Dancing around and revelling in the attention, Delta wasn't the least bit interested in the other Aerandir. Until they decided to fawn over her instead of talking to each other, well, she'd make do with this lady. She was fairly certain she had met this woman before, but didn't quite place it. The female Aerandir also looked familar. Dumb evolved Aerandir! So hard to recognize. ;_;
Syrenrei, meanwhile, watched Fae. Delta was oblivious to her mother once she got the doting attention she wanted... which left Sy to her devices for a while. Sy was sure that Fae wouldn't do anything to harm Delta. "He doesn't really care who I sleep with, long as I don't care about them." Taking a log swig of the beer she set it down to splash some water on her face. It might be hot, but it was still refreshing as it cooled on her skin. "I hear you met my sister... she's Delta's "babysitter" and preferred company these days."

"Ah, it's nice to know you care for me then." Ieyasu shot a cheeky grin at Syrenrei. He was just winding her up now. As she mentioned Sydney, the youth nodded, scowling faintly. "Yeah, she's a charming one. She pissed on me. Is she actually housetrained?"
Osu stared at the item Pueblo was holding with undisguised curiousity. He had never seen one of those before! It was like a ...stick with hair. What was that used for?
Looking up at Pueblo, he paused for a moment, seeming to struggle with the words he wanted to say. Finally finding them, he blurted out "What?" Ok, so he'd found one of the words. He followed up his question by pointing at the brush. Just so Pueblo knew what he was trying to talk about.

Glancing up at the sky, Ieyasu realised just how late it was actually getting. He'd spent longer in here than he'd meant to. Setting down the empty bottle of beer, he leaned over to grab a towel. Deftly covering himself as he stood up out of the water, he wrapped the towel around his waist. Not that he was bothered by being naked in front of anyone, but judging by Fae's reaction as she walked in, she might be.
"It was nice talking to you, but we'd better go. It's getting late." He grinned. "Thanks for the beer. Osu, come on and we'll get you dried."
"Aww.." Osu looked at Ieyasu pleadingly, wanting to stay for longer. His puppy dog eyes didn't work though... Toddling over to his guardian, he turned and waved to Pueblo and Delta. "Bye bye!" He gave the other Aerandir a wide grin before following Ieyasu through into the bathroom.
(( Sorry for leaving like this. I'm gonna be away all weekend, so I had to have Ieyasu make an exit. ))

Fae's head rose at Ieyasu's comment about...someone who she thought they were talking about Syren's sister, being house trained. Her eyebrow cworked before Delta had caught her attention again but had did a double take as Ieyasu rose out of the water. Another shy tinge prickled in her cheeks but she hadn't looked away like last time. "Have a nice night, Ieyasu. Osu," she addressed both as they made their exit. "Now how about we go to the pool where we're supposed to be..." She trailed off as she watched Syren. "Come along, Pueblo," Fae called for her as she picked up the towels and walked off to the other side.
Pueblo stood there for a moment before she attempted to say, "Pa'nt brush!" She beamed, but the evident ear droop occurred when Osu had to leave. "Buh-bye, Ah-soo.." And they were just about to go swimming too! Noticing Delta for her first time as she spun around, she gasped. "Delta! She squealed- she hadn't seen her in forever! Pursing her lips, she pointed over to her mother and started to skitter off towards her, hoping Delta would follow.
"Now becareful, honey, the water is a little hot, more than you're used to," She warned, holding onto Pueblo's fingers and helping her into a shallow end. She warned her of that too, and grinned once the little Arandir begun to splash around nervously.

After awhile of playing in the water, Pueblo begun to fuss and Fae got out to dry her off. Wrapping the Aerandir child in a large white towel to keep her warm, she scooped the little girl into her arms and started to walk to the other end of the springs. "Well, Pueblo's fussing to go home, and it is rather late. It was, er...nice seeing you though, I s'pose," she smiled awkwardly and looked to the beer bottles again. Nodding in farewell, she carried the little one off for bed.

Quietly walking into the Centre with a peice of parchment grasped in one hand and Pueblo's hand in the other, she strided over to the message bored and pinned the parchment there. It read: To Alyosha I am currently showing Pueblo the ways into pottery, but without any luck, we haven't been able to find a good source of earthy-clay. I was hoping you would know where we could find a bank to gather some clay (and possibly a pottery table?) even though she will probably be doing more spinning when she is older.
Any information provided would be greatful. Thanks!
- Fae After making sure it was in a noticeable spot, she smiled and squeezed Pueblo's hand as they walked back out together.

Sy teleported in quickly, looking around the centre to make sure no one had seen her and fainted or freaked out with her sudden appearance. She was also being somewhat cautious because she didn't want to get caught up in a conversation while Delta was at home waiting. Ghostly-and-dead-looking-wisp Delta. It might be a natural evolution stage, but it creeped her out beyond words and she was incredibly eager to have her daughter tangible again. Walking over to the bulletin board she noticed Fae and Pueblo's short notice and bit her lip. She wished she could help the two, but she wasn't any more aware of where to find clay than they were. Pinning her own note up with a thumbtack, she disappeared as soon as it was hung to go back and check on her dead-but-not-dead-looking child. Message Delta has evolved into this... wispy ghost thing, and we need some materials before she can evolve. If any of you can help us find these objects, I promise we'll pay you back any way we can. Peering about as he stepped into the main centre, Kiro moved towards the noticeboard. There were various notices there about various things - Kiro couldn't help but smile a little at the knowledge that Delta was growing, and he didn't pity Fae at the thought of Pueblo trying out pottery. That was going to be messy. "Looks like Bobo's gonna be trying her hand at pottery Tsu," commented Kiro idly, laying a finger against the note. "See?" The peep he got in reply from his shoulder might mean Tsu'd understood, or it might not. Either way... He took a tack from the board and pinned his own notice up alongside the ones that were already there. Kiro's Note Hey guys, I've just been given a job to do with Aerandir data collection. I'm supposed to be collecting things like age, weight, height and so on from them all. If it's okay, I'll be hunting people down (I'm not used to harrassing people, so hopefully I'll be forgiven for it ^_^;; ), but if anyone happens into the Centre (and has time of course), could I ask you to find out if I'm about? I'd really appreciate it! (I'm in 5/6 down the corridor.) Kami wandered into the centre, holding the hand of a very eager-looking Keanu. He darted in past her, and jumped about, his little wings aflutter. "Can I go play with the toys, momma??" he asked, squeezing her hand with his little one. It'd been a long while since he'd been here. He barely noticed the other Aerandir near the noticeboard, and giggled as he ran to play.
Kami however, did notice, and wandered over to greet the other Aerandir caretaker. "Good morning!" she said as she approached the noticeboard, a friendly smile on her face. She had never seen this caretaker before, or his Aerandir, and was quite curious. "I haven't seen you around here...my name is Kami."

Tsukai wasn't one to let a play oppertunity pass him by, and Kiro started at the abrupt flutter from his shoulder before hearing the other and turning towards her. An ear twitched instinctively as he then smiled.
"Morning Kami," he said, tipping his head a little in a nod, smiling as he did so. "I'm Anakiro - or Kiro, either one works." He paused, obviously a little uncertain, his tail twitching a little and waving around one of his ankles. He then turned to see where Tsukai had gone, amused as he saw the gryphon trying to terrorise yet another victim, flutter-hopping around in an attempt to get the child's attention.
He then glanced back at his note on the board... and then back to Kami again. He repeated the action again before venturing, "You're a guardian right...? Could you do me a favour...?"

Kami chuckled as she watched the little gryphon go over to Keanu, and smiled at Anakiro. "It's nice to meet you, Kiro." she bowed her head politely, and blinked for a moment. "Of course! What is it that I can do for you?" she asked, always willing to help other caretakers.
Keanu squeaked, and nearly fell to his side as Tsukai had fluttered down near him, but smiled as he realized it was just another Aerandir. He laughed softly, and turned toward the little creature curiously. "'Lo!! I'm Keanu! Wanna play?"
