Draco came back to the palace for a little R and R. He had a fairly tiring day and decided that taking a break in the kitchen would be for the best.

Jocelyn walked into the palace with a sigh of relief..man this place was huge..she walked through without waiting for Noa, sure that the young red haired women would catch up momentarily..Jocelyn felt a little under dressed. Her cloths where faded black scrub cloths that she received at the hospital, due to the spar she had before the hospital that caused them to be cut off of her..she still felt the pain in her ribs if she overexerted herself to much..she asked the servents of the place where she could find the king..
They last spotted him by the kitchen area..
As she walked there she remembered hearing that he was a draconian..someone who stood taller then her and had a humanoid/amphibian like appearance..finally..someone..perhaps a strong ruler! She thought fiercely.
As she rounded the corner she found him..standing at least a head taller then her she gawked in admiration..before he could say anything she walked in and gave a slight bow at the waist.."My King...iam Jocelyn Galdings..it's a pleasure to meet you sir" she said trying to remain as calm and cool as possible..first impressions where everything to Jocelyn..and the king of all people! It was like meeting a celebrity.

The king turned turned toward the new voice and took a good look at her. Based on her strong physique, she was probably trained in one of the melee classes. "It's nice to meet you too. How may I be of service?"

(I'm gonna say this post happened right after Arete dropped her off because I had no idea she was even here...So yeah...)
Once Selene had been dropped off, the girl laid her ears back. She didn't much like this predicament. Looking out the windows, she heard of a land of sun being made, and immediately thought of her mother. Wandering through the halls, she headed out of the palace and towards Horus.

Arete returned to the room only to find Selene missing. "I asked her to stay for just a minute!" He cried before shapeshifting into a bloodhound again. Then he took off afters her scent.

Jocelyn fought back not to smile, she was actually very excited to meet the king.
"My king..I aspire to be stronger..to gain rank and leverage in this nation so I can become one with power. Not the kind of power that corrupts..or to be over used..but to make a name for myself..to help others where they cant help themselves..for that in my own way, I need to grow stronger..can you help me with that?" she asked meeting the large kings eyes evenly. She was not sure how she could tell but she could see the power behind the mans eyes..a true warrior in many ways.

Noa followed her protege into the palace. She had no real desire to meet the king, but she wanted to see if she qualified for a higher rank. And thus she should meet with the king or queen. Since she had only seen her king once, and hated him like she hated any other man, she thought it could do no harm to come along.
She waited on the doorstep, leaning against the wall and crossing her arms. She observed the king, like she observed anyone else. And Jocelyn as well. That girl was way too outgoing with men as well, she could still beat that out of her, she hoped.

When Aveline entered the palace, she couldn't help but feel like she had been here before. Roaming the halls, she spotted a man with what looked like scales and a orange haired woman. However she kept walking until a guard of the palace stopped her to ask what she wanted, "I need the queen. My cities captain wants me to deliver a message to her." When the man told her that the queen had traveled to a place named Horus, Aveline sighed before vanishing in a quick burst of light.

Jocelyn noticed that Noa had entered the palace..just as she expected her to do so..Looking at him she gave a sheepish smile..she knew that Noa did not like men..not even the King probably..she was slightly feared of what Noa would say to her, she just hoped that she would be at least respectful to the king.
"Actually my king.. she said hesitantly. It's not the training I need at the moment, this women right here" she said signaling Noa "Is my....well..teacher to an extent. I believe that I have enough skill to make Rank: Novice. But as we all know its not my decision to make..it would be yours" she said finally letting her final words hang in the air for what seemed like eternity.

Draco smiled and gave a knowing nod. At one point, all of the students want to go up a rank to show how well they have been doing. "Alright then. I'll give you a set of assignments to see how dedicated you are to the betterment to kusana. Normally we would have students show their skills in combat, but we figured this way would benefit the city more." He explained. "Now near the academy there is a bulletin board filled with various jobs that need to be done around Kusana. I need you to do four E ranked, two D ranked, and one C ranked jobs. Once you do that, come back to me and I'll promote you."

The transformed Arete appeared inside the palace, along with Conner and Aveline's body. "She has to be around here somewhere. She just has to be." he said in a panicked voice as he glanced around, hoping to find Kora somewhere within.
