"Oh." John said. "Sorry." He got up and took Noko's hand into his. "Alright I'll dance.... I'll try to be good but I'm not making any promises. If someone starts to get on my nerves, then you might have to put me out again," he said with a smile, as he led her back into the building.

Stopping behind a bush she picked up a dress jacket she and lance had hid there just in case it was needed. Putting it on pyro she smiled playfully and lead him back inside. Once on the dance floor everything was perfect again. Looking over she could see lance and kitty dancing. Freya was entertaining some guy in a suit. And she knew wanda was beating up pietro somewhere. If it was anyone but wanda noko would have helped. Laying her head on johns shoulder she sighed contentedly as they danced. Hearing him chuckle at her response made her smile. No one was going to ruin this night. ~ its to perfect ~

OOC: Hmm, looks like I missed a lot. Good thing Freya was there because Pietro might have made things much worse if he hadn't been paralyzed with fear (my excuse for why he hasn't said anything ^_^)
IC: Pietro had gone over this speach in his head innumerable times, just in case this event were to ever happen. He looked down, seeming to be very apologetic, and sighed softly.
"Sis, before you begin, I just want to say that it's really good to see you again... I missed you after... well, you know. And I'm sorry but, I was a kid, what was I supposed to do? I couldn't even break the sound barrier yet when dad made his little decree, and I swear if I could have done something I would've, I just... couldn't. I don't know what else to say, just... i'm sorry..." he said, very softly.
He waited anxiously for the next few moments. Did she buy it? he thought to himself...

ooc: Pietro; the world's biggest trouble maker, liar and general pain in the butt.... But he's funny, gotta give him that >.>
Downing the rest of his punch, he threw the empty cup into a bin and went out onto the dance floor on his own. He wasn't feeling himself today, he knew it wasn't the punch even if had been spiked but he'd like to think he could use it as an excuse.
He immediately found the beat, dancing along to the tune although he probably looked like an idiot. He didn't care, let people think what they wanted, he was here to enjoy himself!

OOC: Actually that wasn't exactly where i was going since Porter already had information on Ahab, but we'll make it work smile Xavier wanted to see if X-Nation had any moles who could find out who sanctioned Ahab. The_Last_PlainsWalker "Don't worry about that Zack," said Xavier, "That's in the past. Now Porter, would you mind filling Mr. Ryder in on what we know about Ahab's activities so far?"
"We should return to the War Room to monitor the X-Men's progress," Porter said and led the team back down to the War Room using his eye scan to let them into the security elevator. He half expected the circuitry to shut down after scanning his eyes. He put his shades back on and entered.
Porter explained what was going on with Ahab. The Hounds, the seek and destory mission the X-Men are on. He knew enough about government programs to know that this was only a pawn in the game, "Professor, I can try to pull more strings with old buddies to find out who sanctioned this... but they've already been asking too many questions for me. We could loose them permanently."
Xavier nodded, "No, we will only go to them again as a last resort. Their information is valuable and we should not destory our contacts on first blow. I am slightly surprised that X-Nation has not planted any sleeper agents or their spies. At least these days the government needs watched for mutant protection... as much as I hate to say it."
"Beast is going to download what he can off their systems. It may provide us with an opportunity to find out more," Porter followed the X-Jet's sensor readings on one of the computer terminals, "One thing we know for certain, stay clear of the Hounds. Ahab doesn't do anything lightly. If he made a mini police force, they're going to be the worst the world has seen. They have to be to imprison mutants... especially our kind."

"We can't have, and don't need moles to know what's going on," Zack said, "Rio can hack the Hydra system in under 3 minutes, but that's because he knows how the systems work, he was given a lot of information that Hydra now regrets giving him. The only thing we really can do is hack anyway, every single member of the X-Nation is on the top 20 wanted list of the Hyrda, if one of us got anywhere near one of their high security facilities, we'd be pasted before we could blink. So we've gotten very good at hacking.

[[uh, yeah, remember, Rio was quite literally made for espianoge (sp?), infiltration and crap, it's what he's good at, but if he just walked up to the white house and tried to kill everyone there, he wouldn't make as far a nightcrawler did, he has to be sneaky for his strengths to show. And Shadowcat has the same power as his that gives him his most deadly attack, he's just more apt (sp?) to use it than her. and as for them being on the top 20 of hydra, Hydra's list is different than the actual government's they want Rio because he knows too much and because they put a lot of money into making him, plus you know, he's made a lot of trouble for them. And the weapon omega subjects also had a lot of research, time and money going into them. Wanda remained quiet for a while. She let go of her grip some then she slapped him.
"Do you take me for an idiot?!" she yelled. "After all the rumors I've heard about you, after all the things Freya told me about your personality, after the way you treated everyone back there on the stage, do you HONESTLY think I would believe this crap?!"
She used her hex powers to hold him againts the wall. "Your sweet mouth won't save you from what I have in mind for you. Any last request?"
