Fayina blinked slowly. "Was that supposed to make sense?" She asked, enunciating each word carefully in case Taki has gone insane on her.
~
"I'm ok with that." Brooklyn told Bryan, smiling contentedly.
"But which point is that?" Kai asked, overplaying his confusion. "What if I'm weird now and don't know about it?"
~
Rei sighed and wiped his mouth before walking back out of the room and beginning to run back down to the room he had left Kia and the others in.
He continued to allow his tears to flow freely, ignoring the looks of other Biovolt blurs as he sprinted past them.
He wasn't sure if the tears were still real or if they had become fake.

"Wierd now, deffinitely," Tala nodded, "Since there's apparently two of you running around."
"That's good then," Bryan smiled.

Taki blinked and then narrowed his eyes. "Probably not, i think i have a mild concussion y'know." He sighed and rubbed his head, "Maybe i should have just stayed lying down."

Fayina smirked. "I'm thinking you should've." She told him matter of factly. "Do you want to go back to your room where you can lie down?" She asked.
She reached out to take his hand and pulled slightly in the direction of Taki's room. "Nice hair, by the way."

Rei came to shuddering stop outside the door of the room everyone was in. He pushed it open, body still heaving for breath
EDIT: He let the door swing fully open and looked around the room for Kia. When he had found her he cast his eyes downwards. "I'm sorry." He said quietly, still gasping for air between his words.
He looked up at Kia, knowing fully how tearstained his face was and hoping that it added to his performance. "Marcus is dead." He told her.

Kia looked over at Rei and frowned. She sighed and looked at the ground, chewing on her bottom lip. "I should have known something like this would happen," she muttered to herself.
Tala looked between the two confused. "Whos' Marcus?" he asked no one in particular. Kia stood up and walked over to Rei, ignoring Tala.
"Go get cleaned up ,Rei," she told him, "I need to find Mariah."

"Why is everyone saying that?" he mumbled but let himself be pulled. "I should go and check on the wild bunch back with Kia, though."

"Who?" Fayina asked before shaking her head. "I don't want to know, do I?" She asked, continuing to pull Taki toward his room.
She stopped and turned to look at Taki, "Were you being serious?" She asked him. "Because I think you've hit your head pretty hard.

Rei bit his lip and nodded. "I'm sorry I didn't get there sooner." He whispered to Kia before turning around and beginning to leave the room.
He wrapped his arms around himself as he began to shiver and continued to walk away from everyone.
Marcus had been a friend.

Kai shrugged in answer to Tala's question. "I don't think it matters now." He told the redhead quietly.

Kia sighed as Rei left and turned back around to face the others.
"So, who was Marcus, then?" Tala asked.
"He was part of security but he's obviously been murdered," Kia explained, "That's another one of us down, and i don't think it's going to stop there." She ran a hand through her hair. "This is going to be difficult."

Taki blinked. "Was i being serious about what? That Bryan is here? Yes, if you don't believe me, i'll just have to show you." He quickened his pac so that it was now him leading fayina towards the others.

Fayina blinked before shrugging and letting Taki lead her.
At worst she would have a great story to tease Taki with later. At best she might be able to make amends with Bryan.

"Does that mean whatever was going to happen tonight is off?" Brooklyn asked, a little disturbed that Kia was taking it so calmly.
Kai watched the door swing slightly, the only evidence left of Rei in the room. He still didn't like the feeling that he got whenever the neko-jin was in the room. "Do you think it was him?" He asked Kia. "Or at least something to do with him?"

Rei sighed, debating whether to go back to his own room or to Boris's. He made his decision and began to make his way to the hall he had pulled Kevin out of only a short time ago.
I wonder if he's still there?

Kia looked over at Kai. "I can't see him doing something like that but it's a possibility."
She looked over at Brooklyn. "Why would it be off? If anything, i might have to do something sooner."
"Meaning...?" Tala asked.
"Meaning, you'll be getting a lesson in fire arms," She said.

Taki lead Farina down into the more deserted parts of Biovolt, towards the old board room.

Fayina looked around herself. "This is nice... and..... abandoned." She commented, feeling the need to say something. "Come here often?" She asked, smirking at the corny pickup line.

Brooklyn shook his head. "No." He said flatly. "I don't do guns." He told Kia.
Kai shook his head at the orange-haired teen "I don't think you have much of a choice, Brook." He said matter of factly.
~
Kai2 slowly opened his eyes, groaning as his everything began to throb with pain.
People have plastic surgery voluntarily? He thought half deliriously.
~
Rei reached the hallway and began to walk along it, slowly beginning to feel a bit better about himself the further he walked. He came to a stop outside Boris's door and smiled at the guard standing outside. "Is he in?"

"He's right, you don't have much of a choice," Kia nodded.
"You're seriously thinking of giving him, a gun?" Bryan asked incredulously.
Kia shrugged, "It's either that or," she thought for a moment," A knife? A stick? Some other wapon of mass destruction?"

Taki looked over his shoulder at Fayina, "I think i'm going to ignore you until i get to the room." He faced the front again, "Which would be there," he said motioning to the door.

Fayina poked her tongue at at Taki behind his back. "So what's behind door number one?" She asked sarcastically, letting go of Taki's arm and folding her arms.

Brooklyn sent a glare over his shoulder at Bryan before turning back to face Kia again. "I don't care. I'm not holding any sort of weapon." He stated flatly. "Give me something else to do. I'm not doing that."
Kai sighed. He didn't think that Brooklyn quite got how serious the situation was.

Kai2 lay very still, trying to breathe as little as possible. I forgot to ask how long I'd be like this he lamented. He had the vague impression of bandages all over his body but even that brief sensation was overridden by the pain.
~
The guard shook his head. "He left a while ago." He told Rei.
The neko-jin nodded. "That;s ok. I didn't think he'd wait around." He said half to himself. "Mind if I go in?" He asked.
The guard shook his head. "Not at all. Do you want me to tell him you're in?"
Rei shrugged. "I don't mind either way." He told the guard before slipping inside the room.

A face loomed over Kai2's head. "So, how are we feeling?"

Bryan sighed at Brooklyn and shook his head. Kia blinked at the orange haired teen. "Fine then," she said, "You can offer cookies to random people, maybe give extra cookies to those that will be trying to kill you," she said flatly.

Taki rolled his eyes, "You can be annoying, you know that? And what's behind door number one is what i said earlier, so there," he said and opened the door.

Brooklyn looked up, glad at the distraction the opening door caused, he blinked as Fayina walked past Taki and into the room. "Kisa?" He asked, Frowning in confusion.
Fayina smiled at the redhead. "Hi Brook-sama." She said, reverting back to the name she had called him when she had been playing Kisa. "How are you?"
Kai blinked and immediately looked for Taki, knowing that he'd be outside.

Excellent Kai thought, the voice in his head dripping with sarcasm as he struggled to open his eyes. He managed to open them and shut them quickly after only about a second of having them open.
That -hurt-

Rei sighed as he shut the door behind him and walked slowly into the familiar surroundings of Boris's room.
He made his way over the the older man's bed and kicked his shoes off before lying down on it and closing his eyes, wishing that Marcus' face didn't appear every time he did so.

The doctor nodded. "Good, seems to be no serious side effects from the drugs. Everything is the way its supposed to be. All we need to do now is test the chip," he said to one of the nurses beside him who nodded and copied things down onto a clip board.

Tala blinked as Fayina walked into the room. "Wait...didn't we leave Kisa back there...?"
"That is not Kisa, dumb one," Taki sated as he walked into the room after Fayina and closed the door. Tala glared at him.
"See?" taki said to Fayina, "I'm not crazy, they are here."
Bryan quirked an eyebrow at Fayina. He wasn't expecting to see her again anytime soon.

Fayina quirked an eyebrow back at Bryan before turning to Taki. "Ok, so you were right... why are they here?" She asked.
"You know it's not polite to talk about people as if they're not in the room with you." Kai told her, smirking.
Fayina rolled her eyes. "Hi Kai." She said flatly.

Chip? Kai wondered, not daring to open his eyes again to look at the people he could now hear beside him.
~
Rei sighed and opened his eyes before wriggling up the bed and easing himself between the soft sheets of the bed. He snuggled down into the pillow he had designated as his from the first time he had come to this bed and shut his eyes, trying to will himself to sleep.
