My age issue is mostly in gaia, people believing I'm in my twenties until I correct them. I've had a few people mistake me for being two to three years older than I am IRL, but not because of my hight, I'd always been just short enough for people to notice I was until about eighth grade, and I've been about average since. Well, I could tell you my birthday, but I risk getting chan again, so why don't we stick to -san, or -kun, your choice, I don't particularly care which you choose. Though, san would be Mr again, I think, but it just doesn't sound quite so stuffy to me.

Ah, fine. I'll call you -kun, since it has a better ring. I actually would've probably taken -kun anyway, just because it's easier for me to type it. ...So can I know your birthday if I say I'll use -kun no matter what? Please? I'm curious now...XP
And, what timing! I finally am able to talk to someone, and I'm being kicked off. If your on later, I'd like to talk to you again. So, until then, Fish-kun! (I am GOING to find the japanese for that....)

LoL, yeah, sure, if I'm on then. I am familiar with being kicked off by the family. Chances are I won't be busy with anything else at the time, so I'd be glad to. Do wish my rp's would move though; in ways that allow me to post. And just to ease your curiosity, it's April, 12th, 1989.
I feel guilty about my last post just being there to take up space, but it keeps my points up to one a day, I think, so six days now puts me at six I can spend. One stat increase with that.
And in finish; someone needs to talk to the new guy about his profile too. I mean, if you don't mind the fact that he basically just described himself as nearly identical to Kakashi, and I can understand why anyone would want to be Kakashi, he's awesome, but I'd consider that a no-no as well as that he mentions the Nine Tails Attack that happened before the Naruto series begins as how he recieved his injury in the past, and, though it's fine if he has permission, I'm just checking in case he doesn't, he's starting as a jonin, not a genin.

And good news for you, you're older than me! whee Finally, someone my age on Gaia! I rarely ever meet people my age, they're always much older (like Ken-kun) or younger (like April-nee) and it kind of gets old.
As for RP's...here's a slow moving one for you! I'm roleplaying with another person in a forum thread, and we're up to 25 pages. However...we haven't moved past an hour and it's just the two of us now. It gets old, and I'd much prefer to meet a person that actually MOVES the RP, ne?

Well, for just one day that's pretty slow... I'm talking rp's that are months and months old, one a guild started January which I joined in April, and a thread I started last Christmas, in which I also use a now no longer blind white haired character named Kojiro, in which we have about six people who are still a part of it. We're on page four hundred something... but it tends not to move for an entire week at a time, and then jump two or three pages in one night. Back in the beginning, when we all made shorter, more semi-literate posts, and there were a lot of illiterate or semi-literate people joining everyday, generally staying about a week and then never to be heard from again, it used to go up to 12 hours without a post, usually less, and then would jump up to thirty pages overnight, from 9 to 1, with only about four to eight people posting in that time. It's slowed down a little.
I forget what -nee means... most of the people I rp with seem to be about first year college, with two or three my age. I'm not sure I can count you on that list though, I mean, we are in the same guild, but unless someone starts organizing the chunin exams soon and getting all the genin together so we can take part in it, I'm not likely to be rp'ing with you, I don't think, though it's possible we oppose each other in a mission, and unlikely but possible the two villiages collaborate on something.

Well, that does seem pretty slow. It's hard to find really good RP's that move and actually have people Rping on a regular basis. I'd like to create one like that, but it's gotten to a point where I'm so picky that nobody would join.
As for the Chunin exams...Rinna hasn't passed the Academy yet. I don't know where Sirgurd has been, but he's the one I'm RPing with, and he hasn't posted for a while. So, more like that not, I won't be at the exams for quite a bit. xp
-Nee means sister, it's a little twist off of the phrase Nee-chan (or -san, as the case may be). I call a couple of my really good girl friends -nee, but I have yet to meet a guy where I can use the -nii honorific.
As for RPing, I've found that they move faster over PM's.

I've found the same, generally, about rp'ing, though both parties have to be online at once. MSN is even faster. Of course... I have little experience to say this from, save a few things my now married character was involved in which... eh... didn't belong posted in the forum. redface
So is Sand lonely then? Perhaps that's where we should try and encourage the future new comers to go, see if we can bring Sand and Mist to life like leaf is, or seems to be from what I can see, and then move on to trying to build up the other ones... but once again, it's hardly my place to try to decide things, it's just an opinion.

I'm actually in full agreement. Sand is composed of a grand total of three people, one of which RP's by himself. Consequently, he's at Konoha right now. Rinna can't leave because she's training, and she doesn't have a passport. So...
I find RPing over IM a little annoying. I have a wierd user, so when I do RP, I tend to lose my place when I leave. It's easier over PM's for me because even if you're not on at the same time, you can keep going. Not to mention you get to control every character you come in contact with just about.... whee

Well, certainly we send PM when the other isn't on, but most of the time it's MSN if we are. Anyway, I would hope you'll get someone more for Sand soon... is the Kazekage inactive or active? I've noticed that some of the people have multiple characters posted in the character list, one being Kenkaru though so I'm not sure that's not some special privelage saved for mods, but I could make a second character to submit to sand if there's any hope of being accepted sometime soon. And don't worry about originality, I love making new characters, he'd be quite a bit different from Kojiro, probably with a personality a lot more like the original one; a lot more cheerful.

It'd be cool if there was another Sunagakure, especially if it was an Academy student. I know that Ken-kun has a couple, but none for Sunagakure. The Kazekage hasn't been active for a while, so I'm stuck, like I said.
As for IM...I dunno. I've only really RPed once over AIM, so I can't really make an unbiased opinion. I like to RP over PM's because most of the time, the people are actually somewhat literate. And it's more fun to discuss stuffs in depth, and things actually move most of the time.

My Goodness, he's using the Villiage Hidden in Mist like some giant illiterate eight year old's chatterbox! gonk
Well, a few other people have more than one, but I've never bothered trying to remember the names. If only the Kazekage was active, and I knew if it was allowed or not, I could probably throw together a character now... as soon as I decided the style, it'd be easy. The question is whether it would be swordsman, taijutsu pure, or something more original which might take me a day or two to perfect, though possibly less. The hard part... would be the name. I wish I could use real Japanese names, but I don't know any, or Japanese words, so I just make stuff up mostly... so far the ones I've used most are Nagisa Kojiro, and Tetsuya Isamaru. A formerly blind demon hunter, who fights with a sword on a chain and uses his intellect to find ways to defeat overwhelming enemies by turning their own strengths against them, and a unparalleled swordsman assassin, who can't use just about any magic but makes up for it with wit and sword's skill. My main character and main villian, for now, from my ol' feudal japanese rp, Song of the Autumn Rains, a title which had to do with a poem I was starting to write and it's reflection in my character and those around him, but I never finished so it's just another name.

Ugh! I'm watching the Mist thread, and I have to agree. If you see this, Zeke, be at least semi-literate! Please! For the sake of the sanity of others, at least!
I actually use Rinna for every single character (did I say that already? Can't remember...><) and it takes me forever to make profiles. It's like I know what I want to do, but I have to get it just right or it drives me up the wall. I actually have a couple sites with Japanese words and names, if you want them. I really just look for a name that will fit the character, which becomes easy after a while. I don't think Rinna is a japanese name, but it stems from Rin and a friend just decided to call me that when I told her she could call me Rin.

My bad, that's supposed to be Isamaru Tetsuya, and that mistake from me, the guy who made it a rule in his thread that people should always put thier last name first as is Japanese custom... ugh. Anyway, I'm horrible with names, but I rarely reuse them. I reused Kojiro because I'd just finished my profile there, and realized; "Hey. I don't have a name yet." S sweatdrop So...
Anyway, I also try to make really good profiles, but I generally sketch out the over all stuff somewhere else ahead of time, and toss the profile somewhere to use later when I have a thread it would fit well in, and just edit it to refine the fit, but this guy I came up with all at once.
