Annie crossed her arms and closed her eyes, quietly she replied, "The problem is that I can't really join a cause that I am really not sure what is exactly." Sighing she released her acidic shield, calmly walking through what was just moments before was a waterfall of acid.
She bowed slightly to Leviathan and tucked her auburn hair behind her ear. Quietly she said, "Let the two shadow manipulators go for now and I will go along peacefully with you." Narrowing her brown eyes at him she continued, "They will teleport to a safe house and then I will go with you, willingly."
Smirking she added as she gathered water in her hand from the moisture in the air, changing the water into acid and then forming a flower with the acid that she held in her hand, "It would be a waste to lose out on a chance to have use of my abilities. After all, you don't know anything about me." As Annie spoke, she imagined the reaction of her friends and Shane. Just maybe, if she could 'join' forces with Leviathan she would have a chance to take him down.

Trinity was slowly backing away hoping no one would notice. Then she heard the girl offering herself as a trade for her. Trinity didn't want anyone to be in the position she was in. Even if didn't know her too well. She foolishly called out, "No! Don't turn yourself in! I'm not worth it!" She turns to run or use her shadow.

Annie sighed at Trinity's shout, smiling she said, "Don't worry I'd do it for anyone..." She narrowed her eyes and glanced at Leviathan, smiling innocently she said lying through her teeth, "and, unlike you, Miss Black, I don't have a benign ability. If anything my power is more inclined to harm than Leviathan. Do you honestly think I came here just to save you?"
She smirked, "I came because, though unlike Leviathan I do not crave power for the sake of power, I crave power for the sake of control."

Teshoumaru doesn't bat an eyelash at Leviathan's taunts and provocations. Rather, his eyes display the fire of a man who has seen things the likes of which most men have not laid eyes on. They are cold, calculating, and most of all show no fear of death.
His eyes dart to Trinity as she makes her move to escape. He calls out to Annie, "Be careful, don't underestimate him!"
With that he drops into his shadow and instantly reappears in the shadow still being cast by the raised car. With half of his head peeking out over the pavement, the shadow surrounding him bends and stretches out toward Trinity and makes contact with her shadow. With their shadows connected he calls out to her with his mind's voice, "Now Trinity, slide into the shadow! I will take us someplace safe! Do not worry about Annie, help is on the way."

Trinity stopped held her head for a moment and almost obeyed without hesitation. After observing the red head's intentions were she wasn't sure what his intentions were. Not really certain on how he communicated in her head like that, she asks out loud "Define someplace safe."

Teshoumaru speaks once more through his mind, this time with more haste, "Wherever you want to go. Focus on me and I will show you how to travel the shadow realm. But you must hurry, please. I am very vulnerable as I am now."

Trinity didn't like the fact that the man was risking his life for her and so she did as he told her. Focusing on him she falls into the shadow and goes next to him. "Do you know where the meta-human facility is? I'd like to go there."
Her mom crossed her mind she knew she would be terribly worried about her. She would call once she's somplace safe. She thought she would check the facility out first before bringing her mom there.

Teshoumaru takes her hand into his. The darkness around them fades away to what looks like the location they were just in, except that it is in reverse and appears like a film negative. There are pools of swirling brightness where there would be shadows. They can see Annie, Leviathan, and the others. The strange thing is that they are moving very slowly.
Teshoumaru nods in response to her question. "It is underneath this city's college campus. Are you sure you would like to go there first? Is there no family or someone you would prefer to be with?"

((that's exactly how I pictured it))
Trinity finally got a chance to look around while in the shadow realm. Normally she would freak and get out there as quickly as possible. As he asks about family members, she felt more at ease to tell him about her mom, "My mom, I sent her to a hospital earlier so that she would be safe. I was afraid that harm would come to her because of me because Lev was after me, then again he'd be after any meta-human...right?"

"Not as badly as it could have gone.I got to stay, and no tests were done." Ako said, once again trying to see the positive side of things. He neglected to mention the obvious; they were still in the hospital, and Tansy was still strapped to the bed, albeit loosely.
Ako kept getting this feeling on the back of his neck, the one he usually got around heavy electrical equipment. This felt like it was coming from outside, though, and some distance away. The way it was changing, spiking, and falling, it felt like the source was a person, but who could be that powerful? He started to worry about the others; what if the source of what he felt was after them?
"Tansy, we need to get out of here. You feel like making a break for it?"

Trinity, you have only tasted the power you possess. He can see the potential in you. His hunger for power draws him to you. It may frighten you to hear this, but there may come a time where you have to face him. With my guidance, you will be more than a match for him. Now, would you like to see your mother first, or would you prefer to start your training right away?"

"Are you kidding? Just get me out of these things and I'll fly us out of here." She smiled brightly as she tugged at the wrist straps, then frowned. "I need my clothes though. Do you think you could find them real quick while I get out of these? It'll save time."

All these things happened too fast..
Lev spun around, looking for Trinity, completely ignoring Annie a moment, his face changing the oddest shade of black.
Lightning ripped across the now darkening sky, and Leviathan Cortez twitched, his jaws clenched as he swung around, his eyes upon the strangely mirroring ground. "C'mere you little..." Lev slung his hand forward.
A flash of crimson, and a titanic discharge of red death tore from his fingers, sliding into and around the shadow realm entrance, Lev already upon it, tearing his hands at it..
His fingers began to mend the sides of the almost optical illusion.
All the while, Blitz stared at Annie, trying to make eye contact.
Look at me woman, while the king is distracted, a raised eyebrow to the girl.
Blitz was hiding something, and he wanted someone to tell it to.

The lights in various houses dimmed then went completely out, Lev howling in rage, slinging more lightning, the crash of thunder roaring over head as the sky began to grow darker, a crimson tint to the clouds..

Now, would you like to see your mother first, or would you prefer to start your training right away?" Trinity looks up to him. Her eyes expressing fright as she hears that she may have to face him. How could she? She never had to face anything that powerful in all her life. She backed off a little and shook her head then looks away. Then he asks her about her mother or training. She paused in thought for a moment. "I..." her lips let out the words "I want to start training..." She paused and thought about her mom, "but ... I want to call my mom, to let her know I'm okay. Lev won't go after her will he? He said he wouldn't harm her but... now that I've run from him...he might...break that promise...would it be alright if my mom stays at the meta-human facility? Lev knows where we live so... I'm afraid going there is no longer an option...At least until I'm able protect her..." After that comment Lev's chaos occurred, she looks back where she came and saw Lev clawing at the entrance. She was a little surprised that he would still come come after her and over Annie too. It was this moment that it was definitely certain that he wasn't just any meta-human but her. She then looks to the man she was with whom she was glad to call teacher in the shadow realm. "What now?" she asks him.

"I think I'll walk, thanks." Ako said as he got up from his chair. It wasn't his first time in a hospital room, and he remembered that there was usually a closet next to the bathroom. He went to it, and sure enough, Tansy's clothes were folded neatly on a shelf. As he picked them up and turned back to Tansy, he remembered something else about these rooms; the windows didn't open, just the blinds. "Now that I think about it, I think you're walking too."
