emosgirl Sorry guys! I had the worst April ever. I thought last April was bad. I think it was just getting me ready for this one. Short end of the story is while coping with the one year anniversary of my dog dying, I had my A/C get struck by lightning, a switch in my car broke disabling it and I wound up in the hospital for several days due to kidney stones. I'm hoping for a less eventful May. Oh no, I hope you're feeling better now.

Thanks! heart Yes, I am. My A/C is running perfectly. Although, I am still jumping through hoops with insurance on that one. If they pay off, it'll all be worth it. It cost me about $7000 grand total for all the A/C and electrician work I had done. I'm only asking insurance for $5800 of that and they know that. I'll eat the other $1200 because some of that was securing my home in case I got hit again. xd The surge protectors have a lifetime guarentee that's transferrable when I move. wink
My car is mostly working well. There's a faulty switch for my ABS. The light keeps coming on and off. Basically, if the light's on I don't have ABS. That's all. The repairman was saying as long as I remember that then I shouldn't worry about repairing it. It's $1000 to fix. Since I had just spent the $7000 earlier plus an extra $400 on another faulty switch that was actually disabling my car, you can see why I said it could wait. Of course, my plan is to buy a new car later this year so I may never repair it.
And while I feel better, my health is the focus of a lot of people but sadly not so much me. I have things to do so I actually argued with my doctor about it in her office. She quickly came to realize that she can't scare me with words like pain. More details on that later when I know the details myself but it's looking like I'm going to have major surgery this summer. My mom is already planning on flying up to my place. My doctor wants to perform surgery the first of June but I told her it won't happen until the first of July. My birthday's in June and I won't be spending it laid up. 3nodding

Oh dear, I came to vote for Sunday's outfits, since I'll actually have time to play this weekend, and the poll is the same as the last one I voted in, which was around Easter...I know I haven't been online recently, and I hear there's a lot of stuff going on, but will anyone be online this Sunday?

Kiyanga Oh dear, I came to vote for Sunday's outfits, since I'll actually have time to play this weekend, and the poll is the same as the last one I voted in, which was around Easter...I know I haven't been online recently, and I hear there's a lot of stuff going on, but will anyone be online this Sunday? I miss and heart you all! I can swing on by during the late afternoon/early evening like I used to. 3nodding

My computer isn't connecting to the wireless network here & I had lent my Ethernet cable to a friend (but I have it now, which is oh-so-useful as I'm going to bed...), so I couldn't get online. I'm going to get my wireless problems worked out tomorrow, but I'll hang onto the cable next weekend just in case. heart

I don't think it has. It was working for a while then it crapped out again. I haven't tried it in months but I don't think it was working around Easter.

I miss our gatherings too. Now that its summer, I have a lot of other things to do out of the house (or cleaning in the house too). I can't spend all day on zomg anymore.
I do wish we could all set a time to meet up again though!
