Okays...^^" Just one problem Kaddy needs help with.
We haves to find the zeros of functions. And it's pretty easy, I just don't quite how to do this one:
f(x)=12
How would Kaddy find the zero for that one? o.o

That's a horizontal line... it doesn't have any zeros.

Open! Homework times! ^^" We're learning how to determine whether a pair of equations are parallel, coinciding, perpendicular, or none of the above. ^^" Kaddy understands it a little bit, but it's still confuzzling to her...How do you determine each? o.o" The coinciding ones are kind of easy, it's the other two I'm confuzzled with...

Parallel is when the slopes are the same.
Perpendicular's the opposite, when the slopes are opposite reciprocals. As in you switch the top and bottom of the fraction and make it negative.

Hm...okay okay, I think I get it. So...with this problem...
y=5x-18 2x+10y+10=0
The first one's done already so then...
2x+10y+10=0 2x+10y=-10 10y=-10-2x 10y/10=-10/10 -2x/10
y=1-2/10x
Which is the same as y=1-1/5x when simplified...so...
y=5x-18 y=1-1/5x
...perpendicular?
